My spouse ordered the Duram Adana, which was full of flavor, and was definitely spicy. Our only critique was that it came with a bag of chips, though you can get a different side for an upcharge. We shared the Mixed Appetizer plate, which came with hummus, baba ganoush, piyaz, grape leaves, and fresh pita. The baba ganoush was beautifully smoky, and the pita was pillow-y soft. I've noticed a more prominent social media presence lately and in those posts Turkish pizza, pide, was featured. I'm in! We started our dinner with an order of falafel. It's one of my favorite dishes and I make it at home occasionally. My husband ordered the Adana Kebab and I of course just had to try the pide. The choices were only beef or spinach so spinach it was, since we had beef with the other entree. We almost always eat half and switch plates, so we can try several things and this was no exception. As always the adana was delicious, I just love the seasonings in the meat. The tabouleh was very different than I remembered though, consisting of way more greens than much of anything else so the flavor just wasn't the best for me. The pide was yummy, simple and flavorful, a perfect size for a lunch portion in my opinion. Filling but you wouldn't be stuffed. The staff were very attentive and as always, the owner made a few rounds in the dining room. It's great to see a local business standing the test of time and still cranking out good eats!

We didn't even need to look at the menu because we both wanted the Iskander Platter. Lucky we came in when we did because we got the last of it. Since having it the first time, I've watched a few recipe videos on how it's made. It's quite a process and takes a while so it's understandable they can't just make more quickly if they run out. This time it had a little different flavor than the last time. It had a saltier flavor and not quite as buttery as I remembered which was disappointing since that was the best part for me. It was still delicious but I was happy for the yogurt that helped cut the saltiness a little. Possibly the sauce became more concentrated since it was the end of the batch they had. I could only finish half because it's such a large portion but my husband finished his. The service was super friendly as always. The owners here are so lovely and always attentive. I will definitely be back again.

It's a bit indulgent and I couldn't eat it every day, but it is unique and delicious and the best Iskender I've ever had.
