Cinnamon Blast Latte with 25% sweetness.
    Danielle H.

Aww, I love this place and the owner. He was so sweet and his drink selection was plentiful. My drink was perfect! The only issue about this place is the location. I had to make a few U-turns because I couldn't find where this place was at. It's connected to a gas station, but it's not open to the store. I felt bad because there were homeless people loitering around the coffee shop and, you can tell parts of the place we're vandalized. They have a drive- thru which should earn the business more revenue, however it's neighboring the train tracks and a homeless encampment. The drinks are worth it though, truly! It's cozy inside and again, the owner is wonderful and makes you feel like you just stepped into his home. If I'm ever in the area, I'd stop by again.

My husband and I went this morning. First time. Owners and Staff were sooo kind and working hard and attentive. Ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo turkey and sausage. MY FAVORITE breakfast burrito near my house it was sooo good. Flavorful and delicious. Nice and big too. Coffee was great and real strong lol refresher was so good as well! You can tell they put 100 into everything they put out. I will be coming back for sure!!

This place has a lot of potential cuz the customer service is great and the coffee is great but the place itself is not appealing. It's by the gas station, then inside, the light fixture by the counter is broken, the trash bin overflowing no lid exposed to the eyes of the customers. I still give 4 instead of lower score cuz the reason why I went there is for the coffee not for the ambiance but the physical environment will greatly affect the overall impression of the customers. I ordered medium hot pistachio latte which they gave justice! We also ordered plain bagel with cream cheese, acai bowl (which they don't have banana) and cinnamon roll. Overall it's whoever manages this coffee place that needs to pay extra attention . This place needs a little upgrade aesthetically. Trust

Looks can definitely be deceiving. Tribute Coffee sits next to a convenience store at a gas station, and from the outside it's easy to underestimate it. Don't. Once you step inside, you immediately realize this is a true small business run by the owner and where everything is made with care and intention. The menu features African-inspired flavors, thoughtfully crafted specialty coffees, and sandwiches that feel homemade in the best way. There are also pastries and plenty of options to explore. At first glance, the counter might look a little cluttered, but you quickly realize it's not mess...it's choice. Every item represents something new you can try, and that adds to the charm. While it may not be spotless or overly polished, the space is incredibly comfortable and welcoming. It's set up so you can hang out, relax, and actually enjoy your time there instead of rushing out the door. The service really seals the deal: very friendly, very genuine, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel appreciated rather than processed. Tribute Coffee is a hidden gem.

The peanut butter mocha was soooo good but it's very sweet so felt more like a dessert than a coffee. Their online ordering wasn't working so they didn't know about my order when I got there but they made my drink right away so I only waited a couple of minutes. It's right next to a gas station so I almost missed it but the interior has very nice coffee shop vibes.

Tribute Coffee House is a hole-in-a-wall & black owned coffee shop located right next to the 76 Gas Station. The coffee shop was ranked #95 in Yelp's Top 100 Places to Eat in the U.S. in 2019. [Parking]: The coffee shop shares parking spaces with the gas station with limited parking spots. [Atmosphere]: Since the coffee shop is located right next to the gas station, many visitors accidentally walked into the coffee shop and wanted to use coffee shop's restroom. I agree with one of Yelp reviewers that interior needs a little bit of housecleaning - yes the coffee shop has games, but the overall lighting setting is dark and gloomy. [Menu]: Tres Leche Latte is one of the Yelp top highlights, but the top 3 most ordered items per Doordash are Oatmeal Store Prepped, Classic Breakfast Sandwich, and Ham & Cheese Croissant. No price was listed for any of food items. *** Breakfast sandwich (an English muffin with two eggs, American cheese, spring mix, tomatoes, pesto mayonnaise, and a choice of protein - Sausage - $7.95): Cashier recommended sausage so I went with it. The breakfast sandwich tasted alright. Dulce de Leche Latte (a mix of Milk, Evaporated Milk, and Sweetened Condensed Milk - medium 16 oz hot - $6.10): I was thinking Tres Leche but somehow I pointed to Dulce de Leche. It was a good cup of latte. *** A solid coffee shop for grab-and-go and this is a nice pit stop if you are in the area. 4-star on latte, but bump down 1-star due to interior vibe and prices for food & non-so-secret lattes not stated on the menu.

Wow what a hole-in-the-wall gem! I did not expect something so delicious located right next to a gas station lol. The breakfast croissant sandwich I got was ginormous and it was so delicious and the latte was delicious as well! Cute ambience and the staff were really friendly. I came back again on a Sunday morning to take my kids to try it, but unfortunately, they were not open. There was no sign indicating why they were closed. Was disappointed, but hopefully I can take them back there another day.

Always a pleasure visiting this spot. On this particular visit today, I unfortunately did not get to see the owners, Yudy and Ehey, but fortunately, their team is still very well trained! Fantastic drinks, very good croissants even if this establishment is not primarily a bakery. Yudy and Ehey have worked very hard to create an oasis of a place with cool art inside embedded inside a gas station. If you can't stop inside, there is a drivethrough. Blended drinks are phenomenal, and they have "For Here" glasses. I especially recommend the blended Charcoal Mocha, Nutty Professor, Curious JoJo, and Funky Monkey drinks. The newer line of smoothies and refreshers are good too. These are real fruit smoothies, not powdered stuff! The peach smoothie was fantastic. Hope to see you next time and that all is well, Yudy!

Great service, odd location (at gas station), long wait for foods (not a lot of customers), interesting place to chills with dark, outdated decor, and the foods and drinks are just okey. Was just curious and my kid wants waffle.

    Pistachio latte with almond milk.

Everytime I'm in the area for an oil change I come and get the pistachio latte hot off their not so secret - secret menu. They have a corn chowder here that is delicious too! The best Weber's are very sweet and the staff always checks to make sure you like your coffee! They play some relaxing music and it's a very comfy home like vibe in the shop.

Second time here and the second time was just as good. I got the horchata latte this time and it was just as good. You can taste the horchata with it not being overpowered by the coffee. Excellent service from the staff as usual and I can't wait to try something else if I go again.

Truly a hidden gem. Okay so this doesn't look like a fancy elite coffee shop. But come on in and have a seat. This place was amazing. Absolutely terrific. We drove about 45 minutes in traffic to get here and try it out. Wow wow wow. I can't even say enough about this place the staff is absolutely top notch. Udy, the owner came out to greet us and brûlée our coffee topping. He was so sweet and attentive. So we came here because we really wanted to try the Crème Brûlée latte. Let me just say I was not disappointed at all. In fact it was amazing and I want another one right now as I type this. I can't wait to come back and try other stuff. They offer a coffee flight usually as well. I love me a good coffee flight and what an amazing way to try different coffees at a shop. Now moving on to the food. Because we had to get food too. Breakfast was amazing. Between the three of us today we got two breakfast platters and a breakfast burrito. I would have to say we all won. I love eggs and sausage. You can't go wrong with some delicious tator tots. The burrito was a great size and full of flavor. We could have shared a meal. So the portions are very large. So if you get a chance stop by here and have a drink. Don't judge a book by its cover. This is an absolute hidden gem and deserves some amazing recognition for how awesome the food and drinks are. They have pastry's as well. Let me know if you stop by here. I would love to know how the rest of their items are.

Ask the Community - Tribute Coffee House

Do they still have hemp milk as an option?

yes they do! it's 70 cents extra.

Is the WiFi here fast and reliable?

The wifi is very reliable but not lightning fast.

Is this place a good spot to do hw/study? If so, is there a lot of room?

Yes to both questions. Thank you. Their is soft music in the background that can be turned really low at your request. There are couches and regular tables.

Is it a cozy environment or a more sterile vibe with metal, all white, etc?

Yes it's a "cozy" environment. They have couches and low coffee tables with board games that you can play and hang out while sipping your drinks.

Is there a lot of outlets here to get some long study session done? Thank you!

There are lots of outlets and the environment is suitable for studying. This is usually soft music in the background but not enough to affect your concentration.

Vibe: Summerfield is a staple in Garden Grove for friends to chat at or students to do some homework in.The place is very clean and has its really nice charm to it. There's plenty of natural lighting, despite being somewhat tucked away at the ground floor of a complex with other businesses in the same complex. The interior space and the two outdoor patios are really nice and roomy. Food & Drinks: I got a MIso Crunch Platter for ~$15, and the value for this was really great. The salad was very filling especially because it came with a lot of popcorn chicken, almonds, fried crisps, salad green mix, and a mildly spicy dressing. The combo also comes with a milk two of your choice (which I believe there were only two options, if I'm not mistaken). The Wintermelon Milk Tea at regular sweetness is really sweet in my opinion, so for folks that like their drinks to taste more of a beverage instead of a dessert I'd recommend starting at at 50% sweetness. I'd recommend bringing your own water since the store policy bars staff members from refilling customer-brought water containers (e.g., Hydroflasks and Owalas), and their water cup is really tiny and almost only the size of a standard shotglass. Work-Friendliness: Lots of outlets and very stable wi-fi! There's also tons of seating, both indoor and outdoor. The shop has music they play, but it's not too loud to the point that you can't focus, or put headphones on to listen to your own music. There's a lot of seating options for you to choose from. Getting There: The parking lot immediately next to it doesn't quite get busy, so driving there is an option. If it does get filled up, however, street parking is pretty easy since the shop is at a complex immediately neighboring suburbs. Public transit doesn't seem like it would be ideal. Service: Really kind staff and very patient. Going back to their water refill policy: Christine kept helping me out very patiently with water refills even though I kept coming back for what felt like the 50th time. Christine always assisted me with a smile on her face, which didn't make me feel like a burden at all. Big shout out to you diva
