So happy we happened to stumble across this store, it'll be one of our go-tos when we have a sweet tooth now! The shop was so neat and organized and aesthetically pleasing. The staff was super patient! We have never tried any of the sweets they offered and they explained every single one to us. They had so much to choose from we wanted everything! I've always wanted to try Knafeh and we bought a slice here ($6.99 and it was a good portion for 2 of us). I've never had something so good in my life the cheese pull was crazy and the pastry and sauce were even better. It didn't even make it home, we ate in the car in the parking lot. We also got a few pieces of their baklava, which we have yet to try but are excited to have them. I heard about this place from a friend. He said I have to stop by and taste the Knafe. When I walked in it brought me back to the mother land Palestine. Everything you can think about you had frowning up there you will find it here. Let's start with the Knafe it was on point the cheese is authentic the flavor was amazing. While eating the Kenfe they serve you house roasted coffee. They also have variety of Hala gummies almost any that you can think of. I shared a few photos to give an idea. My mom love the authentic selection of spices I also shared a photo of them. Next visit I will have to pick up some of the mix nuts. The place is very well lit and clean. I came mostly for the turkish delight and try to find a couple of gifts. They have nice boxes for their baklava. They also have a cardboard "bag" that you can fill with their assortment of chocolates & individually wrapped turkish delight. They let me sample their rolls of turkish delight. They will cut and place them in a plastic tray. I wished the tray was more decorative but the way he cut and arranged them, it looked beautiful. Plus the tray keeps it better. I had a lot of fun browsing the aisles at Jerusalem Roastery and was in awe of all the candies, chocolates, and spices they had to offer in addition to ceramics, teas, coffees etc. A little head spinning if you are unfamiliar, but in a good way, like you are shopping in a bazaar. Foodies and kids of all ages with a sweet and snacky tooth would find something new and yummy here. We walked away with some knafeh (this is the sweet and savory pastry with phyllo, cheese, and syrup so good!), assorted baklava, a bag of mixed nuts (addictive! they let you sample before you buy), and a spice blend I had no idea of what to do with but felt like I just needed to get it because it looked so interesting. Turns out it's for making a national chicken dish. It did get a bit crowded when I was there but it was a weekend afternoon and families were trickling in getting their spices, candies, and what not but it was still a pleasant time. I do wish that the staff was more knowledgeable about the spices. No one could explain much about the unknown spices and herbs or give me a name else I probably would have bought more. Signage was inconsistent and not all the bins had signage so I couldn't even google it. Hopefully that gets better over time. read more

I went there for some coffee beans but I got sidetracked into buying couple of snacks on the side. I thought they'd be overly sweet but oh boy was I pleasantly put in my place. The snacks they had were nutty and slightly sweet and was an overall pleasant snaccident lol Also the coffee bean was roasted juuuuuuust right and when I brewed them at my place, it was a very balanced and smooth experience.
