We've been bringing our dog here for over a year for daycare, boarding, and grooming. Some examples: we're charged for our weekly daycare slot even when we don't attend (including when switching to boarding that same week), and even when calling weeks in advance to pause service (such as when we had a baby). When policies aren't applied consistently and there's little flexibility for loyal customers, it feels more transactional than relationship-based. One owner and the staff are wonderful, but the business side leaves much to be desired. For the premium we're paying, we'd expect to be treated as valued clients rather than just a revenue stream.

She spent the whole weekend (minus an hour here and there) at our home with our dogs. She took them on walks, followed all of my instructions and took great care of them.
