We bring both of our dogs here to get their nails clipped. Today we decided to try their full grooming services and I have to say that I'm thoroughly impressed. Our dog, Molly, looks amazing! We usually groom her ourselves because we haven't found a groomer that can cut her hair the way we like, but they hit it right on the nail! Also, in the past, we've paid upwards of $60 for Molly to be groomed, but Wagatail is very affordable at $35 (plus tip). We'll definitely be using their full grooming services more.

I reported to the staff that the dog was seriously submissive and that I was concerned he might think he was being abandoned. I expressed trepidation about leaving having witnessed the dog shake violently with a simple hair brushing session in the first week. Heather and her staff spoke softly and took time to let my dog feel safe in the new setting. They asked lots of questions and planned for a slow and gentle two hour experience to allow my dog to take breaks. To my surprise he quickly became acclimated which I am convinced was due to the generous spirits of the staff. I was able to leave feeling confident that my dog was in compassionate and competent hands. 90 minutes later I got the call to return for my pooch. He was handsome and happy! The staff reported he had a positive experience which was very apparent in his demeanor. Thrilled! The price was on the high side but I don't care. The establishment is immaculate, the setting warm and the staff highly skilled. These folks love what they do and it's represented in a variety of ways from the moment you walk through the door. It's a bit of a trek to get to this business and it doesn't look like anything special from the outside and that's okay too. They treated both me and my dog with heart and skill. Watched the camera feed to see my dog in the back room just hanging around for 15 mins before they attempted to put him on the table. He didn't react well to being in a new unfamiliar place with strangers who barely acknowledged him. Both groomers were busy with other dogs so I'm confused as to why they took my pup back if they didn't have the time or attention for him. I was happy to walk out of here before they even got to grooming my pup. I'll make sure to do more research to find a groomer that can handle anxious pups. The owner of this establishment is extremely rude and should rethink their approach to handling customers. I'm not sure how this business has lasted with such poor customer service. Before our first scheduled sit, we had a get to know you meeting with the sitter and my dog, and they were beyond helpful and eased all of my worries. They take detailed notes on the specific needs of my dog, and take the time to really understand how to best care for her. My dog has some separation anxiety, and I'm sure it doesn't help that I'm a helicopter mom, but the sitter did an amazing job looking after her and she is so happy to see them each time! At the end of each visit, they send a recap of how it went and send pictures! It's almost as detailed as a kiddo's daycare recap (I have compared haha). It makes me so happy to see my girl happy when I'm away!
