I got into an accident 1 year ago and my price went up from it, which was expected. The office called me before the renewal came in the mail informing me about the accident which was really good. Got my insurance revoked because Shawna didn't take care of the mistake she made. Then i got my car registration suspended because Shawna provided the wrong VIN Number. I called several times and each time, she is assuring me that she took care of it. Even paid the $14 reinstatement and still the problem isn't resolved. Very poor customer service. Says things are being handled but nothing is done. I can't wait to get out of this situation and switch. read more

I am so disappointed with State Farm, especially with this office. I cannot say it enough, I would not recommend insurance through Jesse Dix's State Farm Agency. I've been with them for about 3 years and have dealt with endless issues, not to mention staff that won't take responsibility for inaccuracies. Unfortunately, I have lost all faith in this company and local team. In late 2017, I noticed my automatic car insurance payments were changing month-to-month on my bank statement, literally: Oct 2017: $20 more than Sept Nov 2017: $10 less than Oct Dec 2017: $5 more than Nov Jan 2018: $12 more than Dec Feb 2018: $3 less than Jan Mar 2018: $87 more than Feb (expected jump as I added my brother to the policy) Apr 2018: $40 less than Mar Overall, shouldn't my insurance payment month-to-month be consistent? I contacted the office in April and they couldn't give me a reason for this. We went back and forth on this for weeks, mostly because they didn't return phone calls or emails for long periods of time. I got Jesse Dix himself involved a bit and by mid-2018, they figured out a way to get me a consistent payment, but still no answers as to why it happened in the first place. It felt dishonest, and the inconvenience of it extending over months was frustrating. I should have left then, I told myself I would, but I got busy with life and stayed. 2019 was quiet, I thought we had experienced the worst of it. Today (2020), my brother got in a car accident so called to report it/make a claim. They told him he wasn't an authorized driver on the vehicle or policy. I was shocked! I spoke with the office and spoke with a newer employee who "couldn't take any responsibility." I was calm, but gave her honest feedback that I'd had past challenges with the office and couldn't believe (but also could...) that this was now the case. After a lot of "well he's on it, but he's not on it" kind of conversation, I just decided to make the claim myself, share he had been the driver as allowed by me, and authorize him to handle from there as the office recommended. I did so, the claims agent told me he definitely wasn't on the policy, but they'd add him and it would work out. My brother reached out with the claim number to continue the process and was told I needed to sign some paperwork to authorize his handling the claim. The Jesse Dix office hadn't told me that, nor had the first claims agent. Unbelievable. Long story short, safe yourself all the inconvenience that comes with insuring here, and if you're looking to save, know that this is comparable to other insurance companies so it's not like the savings are worth the hassle. I look forward to when this claim with my brother is resolved so I can take my business elsewhere. read more
