Why so much meat in my burrito no rice ?

I have no rice in my food only meat? And I can't contact them because their number don't work. This is not good

Horrible experience I went yesterday for my first time and the food was not good and I slipped and hurt my arm the floor was wet with no wet floor sign I let them know and they didn't apologize. If I could give 0 stars I would

Pollo, carnitas, chorizo and pollo 75¢ asada tacos! :0)

Had the time to hit up Jessie's after an over 300-mile road trip to San Joaquin valley and back to the Bay Area. I had the opportunity to drive/road trip 3 cars in one day and be invited to lunch! HA! SUV's are a whole 'nother animal. I got a fusion of tacos, al pastor, carnitas, pollo and carne asada. I thought the red sauce was hella f#?n spicy it burned my tongue. I could have asked what the spice level so yeah, I'll ask next time at a taco truck. haha. The meats besides the chorizo were all cooked well and no luke warm meat, they all taste fresh and ready to eat. The tortilla was nice and not overly crispy or oily the tortilla did not fold in and didn't spill meat all over the place. Perfect tacos to feed a murder of crows! Enso forever! CASH. Locals only. Seating inside the restaurant. Kites and roses. "To be creative means to be in love with life. Consistently good! Other trucks on crowslanding are good too but Jessica's always clutch. Just a few photos because the food speaks for itself Our go to order: -Burrito Supreme half asada half tripa (crispy) -Quesadilla best on crowslanding imo -Tacos use to be .50 but it's still a deal at .75 -Extra salsa More photos on IG @the_bottomless_pit

It's been 11 yrs since i first discovered them and they've only raised their price by a quarter...$0.75 for asada, pastor, and carnita tacos...and they dont skimp on the meat...best deal anywhere...and it taste good...always my go to stop when i pass my modesto even if I'm not stopping in modesto because they're so closed to the freeway exit

The grilled jelepano was DA bomb, so were the tacos

$0.50 tacos you say?? Yes, the basic tacos (asada, carnitas, pastor and chicken?) are $0.50 each. The lengua (tongue) and tripas (fried intestine) was $2.50 each, but the filling was about 3 times more than the basic ones. I recommend the tripas and pastor, and I especially like the grilled jelepanos that come with the tacos for free. The truck parked outside of this banquet space when I was there. There was no AC (need I say?) but at least there was a shaded place to sit.

So my husband has been raving about this place for years that this is his college's life haunt. These tacos were so delicious and while inflation has hit them from his college years of $.50 to now of $.75 they are still so delicious and incredible. Grateful for the opportunity to enjoy.

One afternoon in Hayward, my family and I showed up right at 6 PM, exactly at closing time. We had just left a family party but purposely held our appetite because our favorite Puerto Rican food truck was finally back in town. My wife and I were married in Old San Juan, and Puerto Rico will always hold a special place in our hearts. We even travel back to the island with our kids whenever we can. When Chef Darren saw how disappointed we were that we had missed them, he didn't turn us away. Even though they were already closed, he fired the grill back up and blessed our family with an incredible meal. That level of hospitality, heart, and genuine Puerto Rican warmth is rare. The food was absolutely amazing as always, authentic flavors that instantly take us back to the island, but the kindness and service meant even more to us. We'll always support Boriqua Kitchen. Truly the best Puerto Rican food in the Bay Area, served by people who treat you like family.

Fremont Street Eats is a lively outdoor community event organized by the city's Chamber of…read moreCommerce. It is located off a newly renovated street where new high rise development were put in to increase dwelling density and foot traffic. It is not quite there yet, but I can see where this is going. It is held in this square near a business park so there is plenty of parking. There is a grassy square where families like to lounge with picnic blankets and lawn chairs. There's usually a dj dishing out tunes, a beer and wine tent, and about 8-10 food trucks lined up in an organized fashion. It goes every Friday in the warm months so from May to October. If a holiday pops up on a Friday like 4th of July they will skip it. Starts at 5pm and goes to about 9pm. Bulk of the crowd goes from 6:30 - 8. I go to about 2-4 per year since 2017, with the exception of 2020 cuz y'all know why. You can see the food truck line up each week on their website or socials. So I like to scan that and if it looks promising then I'll text some friends/family if anyone wants to meet up after work on Friday. If the weather is nice, it is just a just a festive and social way to start a summer's weekend. Now even tho I like these events I don't always like food truck food. Sure it is trendy and you do get to sample and /or get stuff brought to you in one area. But I often just find many of the food to be just average at best at prices that rival sit down dining. So to me I like scoping these out occasionally but I don't think they are worth going to on a frequent basis. I also feel that there aren't enough places to sit and eat once you get your food from a truck. There is a small area where they put out portable picnic benches, but those fill up with just 20 people or so. Otherwise you have to sit on the lawn and come prepared with blanket or lawn chair, or find a concrete planter box to sit on, or go back to your car to eat. Another reason why food trucks events often leave me hanging. But bring a warm typical Bay Area summer's evening where it doesn't get dark til almost 9pm and you want to be amongst your community and commerce, this event will do you more than fine.

There was even some line dancing going on in the makeshift stage area at some point. Sound was not the greatest, the volume quite low even for a small event, but it was fine. There were about 8 food trucks to choose from, along with a few random vendor/service tents (like Bass Pro Shops). Decided on sliders and garlic fries from the Curveball food truck. The food was okay, good enough to satisfy my hunger (see my separate review on that). I snagged one of the few spots in the grass with shade on this hot evening, though they also have tables and seating here, partially shaded too. An actual restroom (not porta potties) on site, in the Fremont downtown event center building. Also, plenty of space available in the parking lot. This is a pretty low-key community event, free to attend and grab a bite to eat, and just hang out for an hour or two.

Rebecca was running the truck with her husband, and they were warm, friendly, and hard-working. That same care reflected in the food. Comforting flavors, big portions, and just what we needed. ---- Food ---- The hot dogs here are big, delicious, and fantastic value for the price. Wushu Dog: Loved this one. Inventive and delicious. Great texture, topped with pork sung and crispy cabbage, plus katsu sauce and Japanese mayo. Savory, crunchy, and satisfying. Sumo Dog: Japanese curry beef chili with cheese and fresh scallions. Hearty, comforting, and perfect for that chilly evening. Fried Foods: We didn't try, any but they serve fries and potstickers too. The fries seemed to be a crowd favorite at Great Notion Brewery next door (which is partnered with Dojo Dog). Definitely getting them next time. Rebecca told me she enjoys experimenting with new dishes, and the creativity shows. Looking forward to trying more! ---- Drinks ---- We didn't but drinks as we were enjoying beer at Great Notion, but Dojo Dog also offer drinks like milk tea. ---- Bonus ---- As I mentioned, they partner with Great Notion, one of our FAVORITE bars in the Bay with the best smoothie beers and stouts. One day it is something messy and indulgent, the next it is lighter, but it always hits. Grabbing a drink, finding a spot at the picnic tables, and slowly settling in as the place fills up is kind of the rhythm. It is social without being overwhelming, lively without being chaotic. This also means a good variety for folks with different dietary needs, because they are mostly picking their own food. I have always enjoyed my time here, whether it's on company dime or if I'm just hanging out with friends. I do wish that there are more heaters around for the colder days but that's just life in the bay! It can be kind of cold and foggy all seasons here, so if you have a solid group of folks I'd recommend reserving a spot with a fire pit. One more note: parking can be tough.
