My first set of over-the-ear hearing aids did not work out; however, instead of saying that I was stuck with them, they fitted me with internal hearing aids that are much better at meeting my needs. Wondering though a myriad of tests and what not to figure out what suddenly happened to hearing in one ear. The only remedy was to wear hearing aids. The ENT offered Phoneak brand for $6800. Wow. A friend of mine referred me to Jesters Hearing. So I made an appointment to be assessed for Hearing aids. This is a family business. The son Jeremy was pretty much in charge at this time. Very nice working with Jeremy. I found him very knowledgeable and accommodating. Jeremy was able to give me the same high level Hearing aids with Bluetooth at half the price that the ENT office quoted! The hearing aids have rechargeable batteries which is so so convenient. Bob Jester always makes my elderly mom feel valued and cared about. He takes lots of time to answer all her questions and recognizes she is on very limited income so he actively tries to find hearing aids that will help her without trying to sell her something she cannot afford. I can not believe how well this business takes care of me Today(8-8-2019) I came in for a cleaning of my hearing aids and a supply of wax traps. I was taken into the office and had my ears checked and the aids were cleaned Price was astoundingly fair If you need or wear hearing aids, you must go to 08-22-19 Again, Jesters took care of me Hearing aids were acting like my head was in a bucket. Went in and was taken into the office, they inspected my ears, logged my aids into the computer, gave me a hearing test and adjusted my units. When I ordered my first hearing aid from Jesters I went into the office not expecting much. Jacob was really informative and showed empathy for my initial bewilderment. When the hearing aid came in, I could not believe it. Wearing it was not like having an artificial device, but like actually hearing again. It wasn't tinny and didn't squeal. Seriously, I have heard people's hearing aids squeal while they are wearing them and I always think if that is annoying me, how must they feel. Needed hearing aids serviced and repaired after moving to new area. Originally purchased from another vendor. Faith was outstanding, rechecked my hearing, repaired one aid, cleaned and adjusted. Service was outstanding, ordered new tips and spent the time to get my aids just right. Aids are 100% better and prices for accessories and parts outstanding. Said my aids were good and new one's not necessary. Surprised and pleased I was not given the old sales pitch on how 3 year old hearing aids needed to be replaced. When my mother needed new hearing aids, she was referred to Jesters hearing aid center. It's as if she was referred by the Lord himself, because the whole experience was nothing short of a miracle. From the moment we walked in we were greeted so warmly and the paper work basically nothing. With her appointment there was no wait and Robert Jester was so kind and patient and took his time on every aspect and explainedceverything to us in detail (Which is so unusual these days when doctors and professionals make you wait and wait and wait and then rush you out). He gave her a far superior product than she has ever had before. He offered her a colored base to match her hair, which actually blends right in even with her hair up. Robert Jester went out of his way to make sure my mother recieved the best product. (Her insurances covered the price so there was no "upselling". Bob is the nicest person to deal with...actually his staff is really great too. I had some programming issues with hearing aids I purchased elsewhere. I called Jesters out of the blue and they were more than accommodating and kind. They didn't even charge me to adjust my hearing aids. I then requested a follow up appointment to have my hearing checked and Bob spent over an hour with me and didn't charge me anything. I first went to Jester's at the recommendation of my ENT. "They're the only one I trust, the only ones I know are honest", he said. I'm not really old. I'm losing my hearing due to autoimmune causes, and I'm on my second set of hearing aids from Jester's. My first set took several sessions for me to adjust to. It's crazy when you actually can start hearing, and it's quite an adjustment. Each time involves a hearing evaluation and computerized adjustments. They are very patient and understanding when you need to "step it up" to regular hearing. You aren't charged for the extra visits. It's all a part of the initial cost (which is pretty much in line with everyone else). They have you come in for regular "check-ups" of your hearing aids. They're cleaned and checked. I didn't think much of that, but at one of my check-ups I mentioned that one of my aids was acting up....coming in and out. They found that the receiver was malfunctioning, and replaced it right then and there. No charge. No shipping/waiting messes. Right on the spot repair. They seem to prefer certain brands, but they REALLY know those brands and are able to trouble-shoot very easily. BTW, that repair was actually a walk-in and I casually mentioned my problem. I wasn't expecting an immediate fix, but they are a family-owned business and run it as such. I was taken care of immediately and on my way. When it was time for my next set of hearing aids, my daughter at the same time was in need of hearing aids. When my new pair was fitted, they then tested and customized my old pair to my daughter's needs (she can't afford aids at this point). Seriously??!!! This is the ULTIMATE in customer service. I am sooooo grateful that they did this for my daughter. Oh, yeah. When you need filters, just stop on by. They'll stock you up, no problem. All of my hearing aids will come from Jester's. Why? Good, old-fashioned, customer service. These people (Bob and Jacob...) are seriously the bomb. I recommended them to my boss, who thanks me at least weekly for recommending them. They are night and day from her old audiologist. read more
