I went along with it, and they gave me an estimate of $291-$575, stating that my insurance only covered $10. I told them that couldn't be right and asked them to double-check with my insurance. Instead of double-checking, I got a sassy and rude receptionist who asked me if I knew how to read the codes and the estimate. I told them I just wanted them to confirm with my insurance, as I had provided the benefits, and I knew that some of it was covered. I was done at this point, so I took the paper and left, saying I would call my insurance myself. When I called my insurance, they told me that they covered most of it, bringing the cost down to around $60-$80. I then called the receptionist back, with my insurance on the line, and he seemed surprised and a bit defensive. He said he would send me a new, updated estimate, but I never received it. I definitely won't be going back to this place.
