I don't mind too much though because sometimes it's easier to find things. The area where they store the drive-up orders has slowly expanded into the women's clothing area, so it tends to feel cramped and can be a little difficult getting through with a cart. Otherwise, the staff here are always nice and helpful, and the store itself is pretty clean. Wish there were more stores in this plaza aside from Target, I think it would draw in more business at this location.

A young lady, either teen or very early 20s, was helping another young lady at register 6. After she completed the transaction, I waited to be called up. The cashier walked away & began putting away hangers(?) until the customer she had just helped, returned because the alarm went off. She removed the security tag, the customer walked away and I still waited to be called. After 3 seconds, I began to walk towards register 6. Immediately, the cashier looked up and said a little sternly, "I'm not open. I'm closed." I responded, " Oh, you aren't? Then who's open?" No response. She put her head down and began gathering hangers. I asked again, "Who's open?" Still no response. An older woman, with her hair parted in the middle, wearing a bun or ponytail, working in the same area said, although not making eye contact, "She's opened over there but she's helping someone." I looked around and asked, "Who? Where?" She said it again, then looked in the direction towards register 1 that was behind me. I saw that cashier bent to the floor helping a woman look at jewelry. I walked back in line. I grew a little perturbed because customer service was lacking quite a bit, which was unusual for this store. I took out my phone and took pictures of both registers so I could remember the numbers. Finally, register 1 was ready to assist me. I noticed the delay in returning my receipt and just then another young lady walked up to the register and furtively said after being asked "What?" by the cashier, "I heard someone was taking pictures?" I just looked at her and the cashier at register 1. I didn't approve of the mind game because we both knew she was there about me. She repeated herself. I spoke up and said I had, no one was in it & it was for reference. I then took my receipts and walked out. Now, if interaction with me had been as quick as it was, when those females assumed I had taken their pictures, this review wouldn't be done. What has happened to customer service? Now, in the past, I have witnessed cashiers involved in each others's conversations while I was at the register and on the merchandise floor but not to the extent of being blatantly ignored when I asked an innocent and polite question. Well, sorry to say, this location will not see my money for a very long time, if ever again. Maybe they don't care. I do, sorry to say. Thank you for reading. I'm sorry it was so long.

Wish I could do NO STARS!! I bought from a vendor at Rustic…read moreFox in Carol Stream yesterday 7/21. It was a green oversize nightstand. I asked for a discount bc the paint work on this piece was sloppy. You could see the wood color under the newly painted piece in the drawer area, it was never taped off properly and it was just a bad paint job. That should have been my first clue to walk away. Vendor agreed to give me $25 off. I went ahead and bought the piece and Martin (part owner of rustic fox) helped load the piece into the bed of our truck. When they got it in the bed of the truck I noticed the wood was gouged. I noticed it and said, I'm going to repaint this so I'll just repair it with wood putty. Martin had hit this cabinet next to something that caused this to happen when he was bringing it back to load in our truck. We inspected the piece before we bought it and this was not there when viewing it on the floor. Now, I get it home and really start to look at it. This was not a gouge in the wood this was the paint peeling from the piece not being prepared properly. The wood is fine but the paint just peeled right off the piece. You can feel the old, varnished wood underneath. It's smooth like the day the piece was originally made. I called Rustic Fox and was told ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Beware what you buy here. This piece was never prepped and painted properly. Now I have to sand the piece down to the bare wood and prime and repaint. If this was prepped properly to begin with, I could do a light sand and prime and paint. My point here...Martin knew the piece was damaged when he loaded in our truck. He knew he did it. He could have allowed me to return it. The vendor lied and said how much prep work went into this piece. NOT TRUE, you can see it right on the actual piece, it was NOT PREPPED. I'll revise this post once I find out who the vendor is at Rustic Fox. BE CAREFUL when buying these painted pieces. BE CAREFUL all sales are final!!
