Happy with my new windshield! I'll be honest, I initially decided to go with another company because they were *slightly* cheaper than JET. The other company ended up canceling on me 2 days in a row (last minute), saying both the windshields they planned to bring had cracks. I get this happens, but twice!? That gave me bad vibes so I decided not to move forward with them and book JET instead. This company was so much more reliable. They were flexible with scheduling, communicated when they were on their way, came out when they said they would, and were a cute husband/wife team- which I love (family owned, yay!). This is the first Yelp review I have ever made and it's something that needs to be done. Elise and Jacob literally left my house about half an hour ago and I had to post this review without delay!! I live in Temecula and commute to San Diego for work so I do a LOT of driving. My windshield finally cracked by something that hit it 2 Monday's ago but because of my schedule, I wasn't able to address it until almost 2 weeks later. By that time, the crack had doubled in size and was starting to obstruct my line of view. I originally called a place recommended by AAA that offers a 10% discount but their quote was much higher than I expected. The woman I had talked to actually recommended that I CALL AND SHOP FOR A BETTER QUOTE (weird, right?!) so naturally I turned to Yelp for assistance. I decided to check out JET Auto Glass based off of the rating, reviews, and the fact that they are close to my house. I called late on Friday (like 30 minutes til closing) and understandably couldn't get it taken care of that day. But to my surprise, they were able to schedule me for the following Sunday (yes, 2 days later!! AND ON A SUNDAY!!) when I was thinking it would be Monday at the earliest. They don't honor AAA discounts but the price was much cheaper than than the place suggested by my insurance. Elise and Jacob were both incredibly friendly, personable, honest and professional. They are committed to maintaining an outstanding reputation without compromising themselves or their business. My appointment was for sometime between 9am and 11am but Jacob said that it could possibly be on the earlier side since I live close to where they are located. I received a text at about 9:30 to let me know they would arrive in about 30 minutes. They got started right away. I let them do their thing and later went out to check on the progress. It wasn't until I talked to them as they were installing my new windshield that I realized that it was Jacob, himself, who had set up my appointment. They informed me that they were a husband and wife team--something I didn't read about in their Yelp profile. It made me appreciate them even more. They answered all of my questions from which option to go with in terms of pricing and why to the process of removing and replacing a windshield (I ask a LOT of questions when I get curious about something lol). I have a cosmetic ding on the front passenger panel that I've been putting off because of the extra expense and they said that they would be happy to reach out to a trusted contact to help me find the best place and price to get it repaired!! They also glued down a weather strip (with my permission) that I noticed wasn't flush with the car because of the crazy heat we have in the hotter months. They also text me before and after pictures. Talking to them was like chatting with friends and I felt comfortable and readily trusted them with my car. They go above and beyond. I'm soooo glad I found them. I am completely satisfied with their work and the overall experience. I would gladly and HIGHLY recommend JET Auto Glass if you ever need your windshield replaced or a smaller crack filled. read more
