I was looking around for a glass repair shop and I called Jet Door & Glass. The owner Mike said I could come on down and that he had the proper glass for me. Within less than hour, Mike had cut us a custom piece of quality glass and gave us an amazing experience. With that old-fashioned, hometown family business charm, Mike went above and beyond to entertain me and my granddaughter. We were greeted with a platter of warm pretzels from Pretzel Factory (which Mike personally cut in pieces for the baby) and candy. As we were about to leave, Mike did the most charming and kind thing: he asked me if the baby had a bank account. I said "yes" and he emptied all the change out of his pockets and put them in the baby's coat pockets. Highly recommend Jet Doors & Glass. Mike (the owner) answers his phone, comes when he says he will be there, and does beautiful work. To top it off, Mike gave us an unbelievably reasonable price. The finished result was better than any replacement window would have looked. (See before and after pics below!) After several years of trying to get someone to fix a broken octagon window in front of our home and never getting responses back from other businesses (even local ones), we were fortunate to find out about Mike and Jet Doors & Glass. Other contractors over the years came for estimates and never called us back with a price. Some of them said the job was too small others said it was not repairable. One estimate told us our front siding needed to come off to replace the window. (Which was not the case.) Two local businesses never got back to me after coming to my house for the estimate. Another local company replaced my front storm door and never addressed the window as promised. He said, "we will worry about that after the doing the door." We were riding around with one of our front house window frames, heading to a different glass store when we saw this store. It was the Friday before Memorial Day. The owner, Mike Migliore, fixed it for us while we waited. It took about half an hour and his charge was very reasonable. I stayed in the car while my husband watched Mike doing the fixing. I was looking for someone to cut a piece of glass .I called different places, and all they talk about is how difficult it was, and how expensive. I went back on line, and found Jets Glass and Mirror. I called! Mr Mike answer the phone. I told him the situation. He told me to call him on Friday which I did. He came at my house on time. He cut the mirror in a few seconds, and took it with him. Called Jet Glass after breakimg my glass shower door. Left a message and the next day Steve, the owner, called back. He said he would come right over, showed up right on time and gave me a very reasonable price and said it would take roughly 10 days. I gave him a deposit and sure enough he called 7 days later to say the glass is ready and he would come that day and install it....the wednesday afternoon before thanksgiving! He saved our holiday weekend with the kids coming home from school. I don't give out 5 stars easily, but Steve is very reliable, honest and truly a good guy. Mike is the most caring contractor we have ever used. His work is first rate and his suggestions always correct. He wants your business and earns it every time. Mike replaced all the windows in our home and recently replaced our kitchen door with the most perfect look for our home. We love it. When we remodeled our kitchen, we were not happy with the glass shelves in the glass-fronted cabinets but didn't know what to replace them with. Had two broken windows in my house - original double hung windows from 1923. My wife called Jet Door & Glass and in just a couple of days Mike came and fixed both in about an hour total. Cut out the old glass, cut new panes on the spot and installed them, then cleaned up well afterwards. Very professional. Price was very reasonable.
