You know that feeling when your car's check engine light comes on? And you stare at it, hoping it will somehow disappear without you having to do anything. But it doesn't. You avoid eye contact with it, pretending it's not there for a few days. Until your guilt eats away at you and then your dad says he'll take care of it, but you're an adult by god and now you feel stubborn and have to fix it yourself. Yep. That. Ugh. I have a 2007 Mazda 6 and Probilt offered (I think) the best price to replace my 02 sensor. I knew from having the code pulled at AutoZone that the issue was an 02 sensor, but Keith wanted to complete a full diagnostics exam on it - just in case. He charged $106 for that while the Mazda dealer would charge $125. Okay. I made an appointment for the diagnostic test for the same day I called (Tuesday). I was amazed they could get me in. I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled time and the guys were finished within 40 minutes of taking it back. Super fast. Turns out, I was right. It was the 02 sensor. Yay me! Knowledgeeee. Mazdas are funky and apparently require federal grade 02 sensors which are more expensive and harder to find. Oh boy. Keith made some calls and found one in town, but it was $80 more expensive than shipping one in from Chicago. Uhhhh, I'll take cheaper for $200, Alex. The part wouldn't be in until Thursday morning so I made another appointment for Thursday at 8:30 am. I arrived back at the shop, which is a nice 12 minutes from my house and also close to where I work at UofL, promptly at 8:20 am. The part hadn't arrived yet, but Keith called his shipping driver and told him to drop whatever he was doing and deliver that part pronto. Within 10 minutes, it had been delivered. Wowza. They took my car back and it was replaced within 20 minutes. Holy speed. All in all, I paid $375 (part + labor + diagnostic test). I secretly hoped he would take off the cost of the diagnostic test since I came in knowing what the problem was...but alas, he did not. Why I didn't give 5 stars. The shop itself was clean, Keith himself is incredibly nice, and the guy who replaced the part came out to tell me he had used some lubricant to help remove the part and it might create smoke and smell once I turned the engine on. I appreciated their honesty and their speediness. What's better, they offer a shuttle service to take you to work if you need to! I ended up waiting in the lobby since it wouldn't take long, but liked that I had an option if need be.

(not by Probilt) Scott went out of his way to get to the root of that problem and fixed the original problem also.

I got it to Val's garage (5 stars!) on Sunday morning, and we decided that my best bet was to tow back to Indy to the orignial garage. I have AAA+, so the 1st 100 miles are free, and I had to pay the rest, which came to $270. (Wich AAA advised me of before the tow truck came.) AAA assigned my tow, communicated through their app, and Troy from Rescue Rangers showed up in about 20 minutes. I had my dog with me, so we set him up comfy in my car and just loaded him on the flat bed, too. So, we road tripped otgether for 150 miles! Troy even pulled over halfway at a gas station (his idea) so we could check that my dog was doing fine. Very polite and pleasant conversation during a very stressful time. Made it to the garage & unloaded safe & sound. #ReviewsByRL

However this clown told me he is dropping the car here and he did. I called the number on the side of the truck and the dispatch said when another truck finishes he will move it. Another truck came, looked and left. So thanks guys, so much, more like Reckless Rangers. Dropped the car at the wrong place even.
