I can't say enough great things about JetBlue. Price is right... Haven't ever experienced delays with this airline, and, yet still give you free snack options with light beverages.

Our plane had a few issues before takeoff and the engine needed to be worked on. In that moment, I was completely fine with waiting -- I'm a take your time type of girl. I only have one life to live, and I'd much rather be safe. The highlight of the trip was definitely the flight attendants, especially Noemi! Noemi, if you ever come across this, please know how much I enjoyed your energy. You bring joy in such a professional yet down-to-earth way. Flights truly need more attendants like you! During the flight, I watched the Claressa Shields movie (which was really good), snacked on my plantain chips, and sipped on cranberry juice. We made it safely, and when we landed, we had a cheer for safety moment.

I loved flying with Jet Blue when they had flights out of LGB, so I decided to fly again with Jet Blue from a different airport. I was in first class or what they call MINT class on their Air Bus 321 going and 321 neo coming back. I sat in 4A going and 1A coming. A321 had a different seat configuration than A321 neo. On A321, I picked an even row seat as these are single seats and larger than the ones in odd numbered rows. On A321 neo, the seats in row A are their mint studio seats and are larger than the mint suite seats in rows B onward. Both ways I really enjoyed the lie-flat seat with the soft comforter and pillow. Mint Studio has the largest TV on a U.S. airline and extra space/side seat in case you have someone flying with you come to sit and chat. It is very private as it has a sliding privacy door. FAA regulation only allows to close the privacy door if 5 or more flights attendants are on board. Also, Wi-Fi was included along with meal service, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and 2 checked luggages in mint class. Directly behind the last row of Mint Class there is a snack pantry available to all passengers to get more snacks than what is handed out. I thought this concept made for efficiency. If you wanted a snack you can get it without having to wait for a flight attendant. The food options were great and tasty. The staff all had great attitudes and I felt at ease flying with Jet Blue.

Flew out of JFK the other day and it was a mediocre experience. Booked via a corporate travel agent and everything worked. Purchased economy and was able to purchase an Even More seat that also included priority security along with priority group A boarding in a separate transaction. The JetBlue app was great and was able to check-in 24 hours prior to my flight, including my Trusted Traveler number for TSA Precheck. Tracked my incoming plane before leaving Manhattan and was pleased to see my plane waiting at JFK since the night prior. Upon arrival to JFK, received a collection of texts, in-app notification, along with emails informing me of a 2 hour delay. Turns out they had to ferry a plane from Boston to JFK, which was also delayed by an hour, resulting in a 3 hour delay. At the 3 hour mark, JetBlue brought out mini waters and snacks that were identical to the ones that are found in the JetBlue pantry on board. Interestingly enough, this was also our boarding. I'm not sure if it was the agent, the mic, the speaker by the gate, or my ears, I wasn't able to hear a word that the gate agent was trying to say. It appears that all of the passengers around me were also having similar listening comprehension difficulty. Once on board our ~1.5 year old A321neoLR, the cabin featured larger overhead bins for storing luggage like a taco. Group A boarding is almost a must on domestic flights in order to secure a slot in the overhead bins. The Even More seat at the Emergency Exit row was gigantic at 37" of pitch. My understanding is that my row didn't recline. I've stopped reclining when flying Economy nowadays. The IFE was great featuring personalization in addition to DirecTV, TV shows, movies, and audio. Despite being a new plane, the seat cushions were starting to wear out, making the ~6 hour flight rather uncomfortable. Cabin crew were all in JetBlue uniform with their name tag. Some opted to wear tight nitrile gloves. Once in the air, cabin crew thanked the Even More passengers for their business and offered some chocolate chip cookies. This was followed by in-flight purchases, complimentary snacks, and then complimentary beverages. JetBlue's competitive advantage seems to be unlimited premium snacks along with their inflight pantry concept. It was also odd that the seatbelt sign was left illuminated for the entire flight...

When we fly from the west coast to the east coast, we usually fly Jet Blue. Flying from SFO to New York on a red eye works for us. Ticket prices are fabulous and the terminal has all you need while you wait for your plane to arrive. Flight attendants are gracious and the plane is clean. Don't forget that some in flight food items are not available on flights in the air after 8pm. You will get as many beverages as you would like and snacks too. There is free wi-fi on board and outlets to charge your ipad, phone, or laptop. Don't forget that if you book your flight using your Jet Blue Premium credit card that you get one bag check-in per ticket. Thank you Jet Blue! In fall of 2025, the Jet Blue Airport Lounge is supposed to be open and available in JFK Airport.

JetBlue's main hub at JFK is T5, and all JetBlue flights departure at JFK are from here. I've experienced that their local staff weren't as helpful as other crew from different hubs.

Empty seats we can not move into

58 passengers on a 200 seat plane and they forced us all to sit 3 per row in the front and back of the plane very uncomfortably and no air 90 in the cabin

Jetblue Airways is my favorite Airline to fly out of Las Vegas to New York City, JFK. JetBlue Airways flying out from JFK, Terminal 5, to Las Vegas, offers a variety of non-stop flights in the morning and evening to Las Vegas. A lot of times I'll fly out Friday evening or Saturday morning from JFK. Usually, JetBlue Airways departs on-time from JFK. The flights are always packed to Vegas though! Boarding is super quick and organized! Jetblue is one of my favorite airlines. During the flight, you'll have access to a TV and a charging station, on most planes. TV options include free movies, music, and DirectTV during your flight. JetBlue also offers complimentary drinks such as soda and coffee. Snacks are also provided. I think right now, they offer pop chips, pretzels and 2 other options! My flights into Vegas are early, usually by 10-20 minutes. The only other airline I'll fly is Southwest, which is a completely different experience than JetBlue, but JetBlue is my preferred airline if I am going from Vegas to the Northeast, like New York City! Prices are usually cheap if you book in-advanced. If you need to make a change same-day, depending on the ticket you booked, you can change to an earlier flight for $75.00. Team members are amazing on the JetBlue flights!

    Early morning flight.

I seem to find all the reiterations of names each time I check into an airline terminal or actual carrier. How many times can you list Jet Blue. My guess is that a different way of listing them effects a new review. This one is pretty much a copy of what I have said before. I can't say enough about JetBlue, it is an amazing airline. It has always been a great airline. Jetblue has always been my airline of choice but can't always be my airline based on destinations. Their planes are always clean when we get on. Unfortunately someone always stashes that piece of garbage and I'm usually the one who finds it. LOL. They do a great job of preparing flights from customer to customer. The attendants are always very friendly, courteous and professional. A great group of very talented and committed individuals. They should all be very proud of themselves. The seating is always comfortable and there is always enough legroom. (I'm 5'11"). The video screens are a good size and there is always enough entertainment choices. I'll give the snacks an ok. Nothing spectacular but OK. I definitely miss the blue chips. Their free hi speed WiFi is a definite plus. Easy to connect and use. I don't mind flying, really I don't. When I do, I find Jetblue does a great job. I'm not always thrilled about be put into a tube and shot across the country sitting for 3-6 hours but when I do, Jet Blue is the way to go. Today was the first time my flight was delayed by 2 1/2 hours. That means when the plane took off, we should have been landing. They actually brought out some water and snacks for the passengerd while we were waiting. They are a class act. KUDO's to the team at Jetblue

Although the cabin crew deserved recognition for their efforts and professionalism, the inconsistent customer service, uncomfortable seating experience, and declining cleanliness ultimately overshadowed the positives. Based on this experience, I would strongly compare alternatives before booking LEVEL Airlines for a similar trip in the Future.

I flew China Southern Airlines from New York to China. We had a layover in Wuhan. The agent booking the initial flight from NYC didn't give us enough time to clear immigration, reclaim our bags, and check them back in. So we ended up missing our flight. China Southern rebooked our entire party on the next available plane which luckily was 3 hours later. They did this change without additional cost to us. I thought that was amazing because they did not have to do that! The flight attendants were excellent. They responded promptly and efficiently to everyone who pushed the call button. They anticipated passenger needs before they arose. The seats were large enough to make the 14-hour flight as comfortable as possible. Every seat has their own entertainment with a nice selection of movies, TV shows, and games. They kept the passengers stocked with pillows and blankets. They fed us multiple times and the food was relatively decent. The flights left on time and arrived early for the most part. On the way back to the States, I was able to speak with the ticket agent and they checked our bags all the way through which should have been done initially by the agent who booked our tickets so China Southern arranged that for us as well. I have nothing but good things to say about China Southern Airlines and I would fly them again :-)

The first time, we were on a very old airplane. It was about a 10-hour flight from JFK to Tel Aviv, so it would have been nice to have had some entertainment. There was a TV screen from 1984 on the back of every chair, and it played movies that kept cycling through, AKA you could not control the start or end time of it. Coming home, we were on what I was told was a Dreamliner, and it was very modern and much better. Each seat comes equipped with an iPad type of screen and there was a large selection of movies, TV shows, and even books to choose from. The food was actually very good for the most part, for breakfast yesterday they fed us omelets and I don't eat eggs, so I asked for something else, but they didn't have an alternate (they said they had ran out). Since I can't eat dairy either, and the breakfast consisted of yogurt and other dairy things, I was stuck eating the bread and the small cookie. On the newer plane that we got, the seats reclined far back, which I thought was a good thing at first... Until the rude passenger in front of me put her seat down all the way for the entire 12-hour flight. I initially asked her to move it up a little bit and she did move it all the way up (more than I expected). Later, she reclined all the way back again, and I asked her to move it up a little, to which she flatly replied, No. She must have told the flight attendant that I asked her this, too, because the flight attendant then asked me not to "tell" her that she has to put her seat up. (I didn't TELL, I asked....) Other than that, the trip home was much better than the trip there, due to the modern plane and the snacks and amenities offered.

So after over 20 minutes of this, they offer her first class, she wants to stay with her family, so they give her my seat and I take the first class seat. Yay. It's so....average. Literally the only difference between first class and business class is more leg room and better waitstaff. It's not special. So super long story long, coach would have been a nightmare, entertainment doesn't exist (there's a TV but it one from the 1980s with programming from the 19th century), there's no Wifi or outlets for an 11 hour plus flight, and the food isn't good. So why two stars? Well the seats are comfortable. I slept better on that plane than I do in my bed. I wouldn't go at all in coach, but business class is fine. And I felt safe which can't be understated. Back again and it's worse than last time. 2.5 hour delay with no announcement why. So for three flights, I've had waits of 1, 1.5 and 2.5 hours, respectively, and numbers of announcements of 0,0 and 0. My friend is in coach and he says that it stinks unbearably. It's also very warm, as the air isn't on despite us being on the plane for twenty minutes. I'm still not going to give it 1 star since I sleep so well in business class on these recliners, but this airline doesn't have much else going for it.

I am shocked by my own positive review of Austrian Airlines from exactly the same time last year!…read moreThis time, it was all largely awful as follows: 1- Tight, cramped seating that made the 8 1/2 hours really miserable. The aisles are so narrow that the flight attendants who walk aggressively, the carts, and other passerbys constantly knock into people in the aisle seats. 2- Barebones amenities: Poor entertainment choices on flights to and from JFK. Lots of 'B' movies and TV. 3- Poor quality food: Vegetarian dinner was simply pasta and tomato sauce- no vegs, no nothing. Breakfast was a hard sweet roll and the coffee was beyond awful 4- Filthy/dirty bathrooms! On most other airlines, the staff will check periodically to make sure the bathrooms are bearably clean. NOT on Austrian. How utterly disgusting after many hours in the air! 5- Hot and stuffy in the cabin with no ability to manually adjust air flow above our heads and the staff kept it warm- probably in the 80s. Who can sleep in such heat?? 6- Check in at the Vienna airport for Austrian Airlines is incredibly barebones. No personnel to check you in. Instead you must use the confusing machines, with only one assistant to help people use the many kiosks. The only personnel are the 2 people to receive your checked-in luggage. The Austrian Airlines experience was so poor that I now dread using them again if I want to return to Vienna. I probably would even chose using Luthansa with a stop, in order to avoid this really terrible airline!

I had to call and could not do this online as we have a child flying with a different parent each way. I was trying to purchase tickets to Vienna today. Called the number online Austrian Airlines listed as 1 (800) 843-0002. Pressed 2 for United States, received message, "for organizational reasons, you will be redirected to Luftansa." I spoke with two representatives for which when they went to try to book the line was connected but remained silent - they didn't respond further without telling me to hold. I then called back and spoke with a lovely man Derriek who was reportedly able to make the reservation and took my credit card information, but didn't give me a confirmation #. I called back and rep Porgy said he could not find my reservation. I requested to speak with a supervisor Gabby who also could not find my reservation and said we could try to rebook so in the process of checking flights and giving her all our information, she kindly went to check how much extra baggage would be, but then returned and noted that since it was an austrian air flight, she could not book for us (?!!!) She said I would need to call Austrian Air. When I told her that I DID call Austrian Air and that the phone redirected me to her organization which I thought was Luftansa. I asked for Austrian Air's number and she gave me516.738.4422. I called that number and received a recording that it was a customer feedback line to which no live person would answer (!!!) I left a message to notify them of the issues. I then resorted to a travel agency. However, when just double checking if the Austrian Air number really did route to Luftansa, I got representative named John, who said they were a "Miles and More" Star Alliance center who would be able to book any of the star alliance airlines including Austrian Air and Luftansa. But THAT call got disconnected. This was so crazy and wasted hours of my day. I'm very disappointed by these airlines and wish they had the decency to at least be upfront about whether they could book or not and do it in a timely/professional fashion.

My son and his family wanted to spend few weeks in Italy (leaving from JFK). I recommended to book ITA flights because we could fly back together with the same flight. My son tried several times but the site crashed, regularly, at the payment page. I tried myself but I encountered the same problem. Being in Italy, I called the 06 customer service 1(number explaining the problem. This lady seemed not to understand either the problem or the frustration (you know how many times we tried? you know how many times we had to put the same information in ?). She was able (for the grace of God) to see the different attempts but, per her account: 1) names were truncated 2) do not try so many times if it does not work : you block the seat reservation. 3) You now have to pay in Euro because you are calling the Italian number (0685960020) Names were NOT truncated and I recommend to have the web site checked by the programmer Why ITA have this type of problem? It looks like Alitalia 10 years ago. Do NOT look cheap. My son was trying to book the tickets in New York City not in Italy. It should be in dollars. He is paying- not me- FROM USA. Do not have condescending people answering a customer service. It looks bad.

If you do not take this review seriously and you do choose to fly them, then do not complain when the trip breaks you. You have nobody but yourself to blame. You have been warned. There are so many options. And if it means you pay a little extra with another airline then trust me that's money very well spent. Peace of mind, comfort, and professionalism is well worth paying a bit more for. Again, do not fly this airline. It's not worth the aggravation and stress.
