This was JetBlue's first denial of the reimbursement they had promised me at the RDU airport.

I purchased a JetBlue flight from RDU, North Carolina to LAX, California on Thursday, April 7th. The flight had a layover in New York. After arriving on time for my 4pm flight, the plane was delayed on the runway for two hours (first of 2 delays shown in attached photo). JetBlue finally deplaned us around 6pm. We started re-boarding at 6:30pm--the same time my connecting flight was supposed to leave New York for California. Because of JetBlue's delays, I would miss my connection. The flight I bought was supposed to arrive at LAX at 10pm Thursday night. The gate agent said I could catch a later flight, arriving at LAX at 1am. I explained that my friend could not pick me up that late from LAX, and Ubering to her would cost me $200. I couldn't afford this, so my only option was to fly the next day, April 8th. The ticket agent promised me that, because these delays were JetBlue's fault, the airline would reimburse my Uber rides necessitated by these delays. With this promise of reimbursement, I found a place to stay overnight in North Carolina (my house was 2 hours away from the airport) and took an Uber there. I flew to LA the next day, arriving the evening of April 8th. Because JetBlue's flight issues forced a much later arrival time, I also had to Uber from LAX to my destination (I was a full 24 hours late joining my friends who were supposed to pick me up the day before). I had also purchased a return flight from LAX to North Carolina for Monday, April 11. On Sunday afternoon, April 12, JetBlue emailed me that they cancelled my return flight, with no further explanation. After 2 hours on hold, an hour-long call with customer service, and JetBlue's "solution" of rebooking me with an 8-hour overnight layover in New York--with no hotel accommodations--I finally got rebooked for new flights on Monday. I have submitted reimbursement claims for my Ubers with agents at the airport, over the phone, and on JetBlue's website. Each request has been denied, despite the onsite manager's promise to me that my reservation had been updated to reflect approval for reimbursement. In sum, because of JetBlue's cancellations and delays, I missed a full 24 hours of my trip, spent many hours of my trip on the phone trying to resolve my flight issues, and incurred $110 in Uber fees that I otherwise would not have had to pay. JetBlue has refused to honor even the Uber reimbursement they guaranteed me. They have not even extended the courtesy of an apology. Please make this right.

Everything appears to be well organized, and going through TSA was smooth and efficient. The only thing I wish they have was more shopping stores. However, they have a good essentials stores so that's fine.

The airport its self is very large and we did have trouble with AA in getting our paid luggage tag. Machine not working. Staff telling us different things as to get it fixed. But finally we were taken care of. At that time of the morning TSA was quiet and we got right through. We arrived at the airport at midnight from Charlotte but we had to call for the shuttle because it was taking a long time for the bus to come up to the second deck to get us. But a lady had just reported in and she came and got us. She apologized that we had to wait, which was nice of her. She was pleasant and got us right to our vehicle. Again, great service from the shuttle staff. My only complaint is that we could not find the parking area for economy that was supposed to be $12 a day. We ended up at express which was $18 a day. We were told the old parking lot way out in the back had been replaced and was now for employees. It's a long drive for me to use this airport. The only thing I would suggest is that the signage be clearer for the parking areas and make sure the website is properly updated.
