The buffalo ranch chicken pizza here is great, better than other pizza joint's. The Breadsticks are above average as well

Great pizza, love the meat lovers. Hit the $5.00 lunch deal, 2 slices and a pop. Too good to pass up.

Terrible. $30 for a 3 topping pizza and cheese bread sticks. The toppings were skimpy and the pizza was not hot. Will not be going back..

They deliver or you can pick it up. It's quick and the price is right as well. It's no Chicago style, but it's the best around GV.

Today we visited Licari's and I just love their startup story! Apparently chef Bobby Flay himself…read morehelped Licari's get their business off the ground and I think that's super cool. I ordered the pesto pizza and my daughter won't let me try hers so I can't speak to that pizza but she is SUPER picky and clearly likes it or she'd share. I see a lot is made in house, the menu is traditional yet creative, and the food tastes great. My only feedback is the charred pieces of dried tomato on the top are not lovely. As is anything burned these are bitter and gross. Why not have those under the cheese? Or if you want a nice add on top in red maybe chop them up finer and add a sprinkling of them on last? Overall though the flavors worked and the ricotta balls as an appetizer are so good! I mean crispy melty deep fried cheese balls! Who can say no to that? I'm giving 4/5 stars for food quality due to the burned ... CHARRED tomatoes and 5/5 for the freshness. Ambiance, cleanliness, and service all hit 5 stars so this brings our total to a full on 5 stars! You'll pay for those stars too so just come ready to get what you pay for. After tip it was over $90.00 for 2 people but we did bring home leftovers.

I suppose the food is fine enough, but I've had several subpar experiences with their mussels here. It's not a hipster establishment, but the prices do make one question this restaurant's lore. I cannot reconcile the high price with the lack of quantity, regardless of "quality." Truly, I always come back because it's close to home and albeit sounds good, but Pepino's happy hour menu can't be beat imo. They also have nice pasta and it's only $10 on Thursdays instead of $15-23. I understand that Licari's is upscale Sicilian, but I think I prefer establishments that deliver on food and price rather than just talking a big game. Sorry Licari's. $30+ dollars for a salad and a drink is a bit much... I did see some happy hour special for bruschetta and a drink for $15. However, I probably won't come back to try it.

The restaurant had pescatarian friendly options and some vegan options as well even. I will say that the appetizers were underwhelming and I fear I did not take a picture. We got a three way sampler plate of pretzel bites, mozzarella sticks and onion rings for my group. I think I honestly misunderstood the portion sides so that's on me. The appetizers were on the same plate, were very small (I recall three mozzarella sticks for my party of four) and they frankly tasted mid sadly. I got the Grilled Salmon with the Chili rub and my boyfriend got the Crab Rangoon Flatbread (does not come with fries, despite fries in the photo). I enjoyed the Grilled Salmon and everything else in the plate besides the green beans unfortunately. The flatbread was delightful too! My group and I would certainly suggest Main St Pub to others, especially those that are also pescatarian!

Wife's blueberry mojito tasted like tonic water & mint leaves, no blueberry flavor at all. Son's Manhattan was all whiskey with no Vermouth or bitters. Blueberry Mojito -- $9.99, Manhattan -- $10.05 Got charged for the undrinkables, then got upcharged for adding cheese and chili to our fries -- even though we didn't add, order or receive either. Basket was supposed to be $6.99 but ended up $12.99 for add-ons we didn't order. Server was kind, but bartender needs training. And we spent $26-$28 on things we either didn't order or couldn't drink.

Allendale is a bit of a blind spot for me when it comes to restaurants since I don't really make it…read moreto that part of town very often, but Mug Shots has been on my list for awhile so I was excited to stop in for dinner after a GV women's soccer game. The space is kind of smaller but we were able to sit right away. The theme of the place is kind of quirky - there are celebrity mug shots on the walls with descriptions of their crimes, as well as a "jail" photo op. Most of the menu items have jail/prison themed names too. It's definitely unique! I'd heard great things about the burgers so I knew I had to try one. They have nine different specialty burgers that come with two quarter pound patties, or you can substitute fried or grilled chicken for no charge. I got the Reveille (one egg cooked to order, bacon, and cheddar), and Nate got the Brushy Mountain with marinated chicken (you can also get it with fried chicken). Crinkle fries are standard, or you can get waffle fries or sweet potato fries for an up charge. Our food took a little bit of time to come out, but we enjoyed watching the MSU women's soccer game on the big TVs while we waited. The food was worth the wait, because it was super hot and fresh, and the burger was delicious. The patties were juicy and perfectly seasoned, the bacon was crispy, and the egg was cooked just like I wanted (over hard). It was a little greasy but I enjoy a greasy burger every once in awhile. I had a bite of the Brushy Mountain, which was also very good. The chicken was a little small but the flavors were great and the chicken wasn't overcooked. I'm so happy to have checked this place off my list, and will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area. If you like a juicy burger, you have to visit this place!
