We are just wrapping up our first stay here in our RV after one week, this is a wonderful park with lots of amenities. Our site was partially shaded with a perfectly level pad with full hookups. The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived at the entrance and since all reservations are completed online check-in at the camp store was fast and easy. The sites in our section were spacious with plenty of parking for our tow vehicle and accommodated our 41 foot MotorCoach without any issues. One of the things we liked about this campground is it's located inside Jetty Park but has a secure entrance that requires a code for the camping community with separate restrooms and showers if you need them. There is also easy access within walking distance to the beach and a pier located along the inlet which provides great views of the cruise ships entering and exiting the port as well as great views of the numerous rocket launches throughout the year. Jetty Park also has a cafe serving breakfast and lunch and a fully stocked bait shop, on the weekends you may find food trucks and Kona Snow Cones as well as many picnic tables and shaded pavilions for public use. The park is regularly patrolled and provides a safe family environment. This is definitely a campground we'll return to again and again - a little planning will allow you to pick the perfect RV or Tent site of your choosing... read more

Camped July 24 -26 2026 on site 227 The grass was not cut and high itchy weeds were annoying. The bathhouse has zero ventilation! No fans,no AC, no windows,which is crazy for Florida heat. The campsites are cramped and overcrowded. No privacy between sites. The sites do not have much vegetation or trees for shade or privacy. It's basically a parking lot full of campers. read more

We come here every year with a bunch of friends. The camping spaces are wide. Everything is clean. People are friendly. They have two stores and a restaurant in the park. The beach is just right through the sea grapes hedge and the beach is gorgeous! You never find any trash left on the beach and everyone picks up after themselves. People are able to surf out there. Lots of families and lifeguards on duty. Prices are reasonable and you get a veteran discount. On some things, souvenir items, they're a little expensive because this is a tourist town. You can watch the huge cruise ships leave port from the campground. You can ride in a helicopter. There airplane tours. There is always a cool breeze by the temperature of the water and it always is a bit windy, which makes it very pleasant. We will continue to come here year after year as our 30+ camping partners will do and have done for many years. It's peaceful, no one is ever loud or disrespectful. The staff members are very helpful and nice. They have two new gift shops, fully stocked with things you might need. Grocery stores are nearby too. We had lunch at the campground. The food was good, just a bit dry. The deco is great too. And, we were lucky enough to watch an awesome launch of Elon's rockets going up! I'll load a few short videos if possible. We made a 5 night reservation way ahead of time. It's a busy place with few sites available even months ahead of time. It looked nice right along side the beach with 2 places to get a bite to eat within walking distance. Most unfortunately, we had to cancel 2 weeks out from our start date. We were disappointed to find out there was a $30 cancelation fee, even 2 weeks out. :-( read more

So far so good! Got the referral from a woman in Va. said. This was a beautiful campground. Only been here one night, but seems to be true. Haven't had time to check it out. Getting ready for a wedding, but the water and the sunshine is beautiful. The place is packed, we probably got the last place. There is a bit of construction, but it happens. Gates were closed last night and we had to go in the out gate, but all the cars were running it and no code needed. Security must only be for the daytime. read more

there are some nice sites, but if you get a site in the older section of the park, they are very tight, overgrown, and generally not kept up. Not a good park if you have a dog. Pets are really restricted and the only place to walk them is in the parking lot. Every place you try to walk has 'No Pets Allowed' signs everywhere. Customer service was bad from the moment I went to check in. Several people at the counter completely ignored me for quite a while since they were having a personal conversation. The worst was when we were checking out. Had a mechanical issue with our coach that we couldn't move it. Was told that we would be charged a $100 fee if we weren't off the site by noon because someone else was coming into that site. Understand that but check-in is a strict 2 pm so no one can come in until 2 pm. They don't clean the sites so don't know why they were so nasty about it. I was so excited to be able to get into the park but it was one of the worst experiences we had at a campground. Very disappointed. Only good thing was it was fun watching the ships go in and out of the port. Way too many rules and poor customer service. Won't be going back. read more

The lady at the gate was friendly and helpful. However, once inside for check-in the customer service was awful. It seems I inconvenienced the lady when asking about my family members who were coming to visit us the next day. She cut me off quickly and said she would get to that. She was very rude. After payment, I signed a paper with rules regarding visitors. It had to be done online. After doing so online, I paid for our visitors for the day. One guest was ill and could not make it. Later that evening we went to a nearby pizzeria only to return to a locked entrance. We went inside through the exit side of the fence that was open when no cars were exiting. We were stopped by security who talked down to us like we were peasants. He advised that all guests were to leave by 9pm. I explained how I paid for her day pass so I figured it was good for the entire day and night. Thank goodness the rest of the guests went home. Not to mention none of them lived nearby including the guest he said she would have to leave. He said that he was certain that the front desk must have explained that to me and that I needed a "night pass." I told him there must have been a misunderstanding because the guest passes were done online and nowhere was there a choice for a night pass. And the lady at the front never brought up a night pass. He then had us follow him to the guest house to get her a night pass. We appreciated that but he was very stern. This is not our first time here and it's a wonderful park as you can watch a rocket launch on certain days and the beach is within walking distance. I hope that certain staff members change how they treat customers for a better experience. read more

Their best feature is the location. I wish the reservation software had more details. I ended up with 30amp when I needed 50 amp. There was barely enough room for my 31 foot motor home. The lot was not level at all. I had to find some lumber and spent about an hour trying to level it. It had no sewer when I thought I was paying for full hookup. Finally, it's too dusty for me. The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. The man at the gate before you enter acted like he was inconvenienced just by us asking where to go & he had only very sarcastic answers . The staff at the check in desk are incredibly rude & basically useless. We had a large multi family camping trip scheduled here and wanted to make sure all of our ducks were in a row , however, the staff became immediately defensive & curt as soon as any questions were asked. The campground itself is a total dump and the facilities are not kept up with, very dirty !!!!!! Also, we felt unsafe as there were sketchy people that were visibly intoxicated everywhere. read more

Jetty camp ground is a great spot for beach camping. The grounds are very wheelchair friendly and allow for ease of access through talk the trails, boardwalk, camp store, etc. The amenities are very clean, and the campground is well kept. The staff is super friendly and go out of they're way to make your visit enjoyable. The private beach is so beautiful and very clean. They have beach wheelchairs on-site for access and enjoyment. I actually almost like it better than Cocoa public beach. The fishing pier is very accessible and makes for great fishing and a gorgeous view of the jetty, boat life, and wildlife. I highly recommend Jetty Park & Campground for local visitors, vacationers, and anyone looking for an enjoyable day in the sun. read more

I just did 3 nights at this place, it was my first time there. What a great campground, and the location is fantastic! Here is what the location offers; a nice beach along the ocean, a 1200' long fishing pier(no fishing license required), a bait and tackle shop with a cafe that serves a terrific breakfast, a store for basic supplies including ice, all this in a beautiful setting with a super friendly staff. It is mostly an RV oriented campground, but it has quite a few basic tent sites. And most importantly, it is a very safe, fenced-in - gated area located just passed the new cruiseship terminal. NO lowlife street urchins anywhere in sight! read more

I've camped around FL and in other states such as Georgia, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Texas, by far on of the best campgrounds I've been too is Jetty Park. The sites are cozy if not spacious, the bathrooms are kept clean if not large and accommodating, by what sets this place apart is it's location. Just outside of Cape Canaveral and a short drive be to Cocoa Beach, this park has everything for the lover of sea - fishing, surfing, biking on the beach, there's so much you can do and choose not too you can make your stay as adventurous or lazy as you want. There's plenty to do at the campground and if that bores you Cocoa Beach and its offerings are only a shirt trip by car away. The only reason I don't give it a full five stars? The bathroom size leaves a bit to be desired. But as mentioned earlier they are kept clean. read more

Had a good 4th of July experience. All staff were great. No complaints about that. Our RV site was great. And they got us directly across from family that was also camping. The beach was literally a 5 minute walk from our camper. They had a life guard. The beach was well maintained. My one and only issue was that it is a public park even though the RV is separate. I would like to see some type of access code or something to keep non paying campers from using that shower/bathroom facilities. Because ppl that know if this will come into the area and use it. Jetty Park Campground is an amazing location for Cocoa beach fans. We rented one of their small cabins (think tiny house with no kitchen), and enjoyed the campground location/amenities while still having our own bathroom and window A/C unit. Campers have gate access to Jetty park included in their rental fee and can access the fishing pier/beach all hours of the morning, day, and night. This was my favorite part of camping here since Jetty Park gets pretty busy...I walked on the beach, watched the sunrise, and fished before the mass public arrived. Be aware thought that the campsites are very close to one another which ensures an opportunity to make friends but may be too close for comfort for some. I would definitely camp here again. read more

Stayed over at this park on our way home from the Keys and stopping to see friends in cocoa beach area. We LOVED this park. Early November campground was less than 20% booked. Very great staff, all were very friendly and kind, even allowing us a later checkout bcuz our plans for the morning were changed by no fault of our own. They were very understanding. For a public County owned campground it is excellently maintained. the bathhouses were always clean and they look newly renovated. everything is clean and nice. The spots are big enough, most of which have a level concrete pad! sites also have a grill and picnic table. For $40 a night you just can't beat the value for your money. There is beach access from the back of the campground, you actually leave thru a gate in the campground and walk across a small parking lot up to the stairs and boardwalk over the dunes. This park has no pool but we were fine with all the water Florida has to offer. I didn't use the online reservation system but how I understand it works is you can reserve one year in advance. This park is booked solid Jan 1st- April 1st every year. The online reservation system happened to be down when I needed to make a reservation so I called the phone # on the website and left a message and someone returned my call promptly. We booked at Jetty sight unseen for the night bcuz we needed somewhere to stay while passing thru the area so I was really nervous with what we'd end up with. I was extremely impressed and look forward to returning when in the area again, this time with reservations booked in advance! read more

The park is ok, could be better. The bonus is the beach. Walking distance and private access. However do not let the pictures fool you. Dogs are NOT allowed at the beach. What a bummer. We thought dogs could come because of the pics previously posted. The campsites are small. The house keeping in the restrooms were terrible. There is a sign that says cleaning between 11-12pm. We never saw anyone come to clean the restrooms. They were very dirty at all times. However there was plenty of soap, and other necessities, so you know someone was keeping an eye on that, but they never cleaned them. We'll come back especially for the beach access and the area attractions. Thankfully we have a smaller travel trailer and our own restroom. read more

I hope I was not expecting to much. I was disappointed with my visit. This is a county park that didn't quite meet my expectations. First off the site I was given was an absolute pig stye. It took me 45 minutes to pick up cigarette butts, beer bottles, soda can tabs, clothing, rugs and other miscellaneous trash. The sites are rather small and on top of each other. Before you go do some research, especially if you are going to RV camp. There are some nice sites so check the map and make sure you book far enough in advance to get a large plot. If you tent camp they have some great sites with shade, they mostly but up against the roadway. Things I liked about the campground: 1. Located right on the inlet, cruise ships are in and out at all hours. It is pretty cool to see these behemoths come and go. 2. Fishing peer is within walking distance. 3. Beach is within walking distance. 4. Many restruant in the area. 5. Large clean restrooms & showers. Things I didn't like: 1. Staff not very helpful. 2. Sites are very small. 3. Little shade. Overall I am hoping my visit was just a fluke, I do plan to return and give it another try. read more

They also fail to mention on the website that there is now a giant drill rig built 500 feet from the end of the pier, it's an absolute eyesore to the whole beach and ruins any nice views and photos from the pier entirely. The $10 to get in may sound steep to some, but it's worth it. Like another reviewer said, it's also worth the annual pass if you're like me and go to the beach every other week! The fishing out here is nice, we've caught a wide assortment of things - flounder, bonefish, porgies, even rays and small stonefish. The pier is licensed and they ARE renting poles again the last time I was there (a week ago.) Still, if you do not have your own fishing gear it may be in your best interest to call ahead and make sure they have poles to rent. Considering the relatively large fishing areas with a reasonably priced bait shop, playgrounds, convenient parking, a small cafe, close proximity to the cove area and it's restaurants, clean bathrooms and a gorgeous beach you really can't argue the $10 for a day or the $50 for a pass. There is also a ton of wildlife out here. We have seen dolphins, porpoises, turtles, crabs, rock lobster, manatees and various rays (including cownose and spotted.) I used to come out here to see the shuttle boosters being brought back in from sea, too. Great for all ages. Just a note to those going out here to fish, if you are going to fish from shore, PLEASE watch for the swimmers. Please stay off of the jetty rocks, too. On the pier/canal side, they're home to a delicate assortment of plants and animals (particularly, young sea turtles) some of which could be illegal to approach. On the beach side, you could slip and fall or be swept into them, they ARE slippery, sharp and heavy. I have seen kids ignore the signs and climb on them, and then get injured. If you see someone climbing around them or swimming on the pier side, PLEASE let an employee know! The last time we were here, a man was trying to snorkel on the pier side of the jetty and they managed to get him out JUST before a cruise ship and a few small boats barreled by and sent huge waves crashing up against the rocks - which surely would have slammed the man into them and left him severely injured. They don't tell you to keep off of them for their own amusement! read more

I live in the area 10 months a year and went to the campground to scope it out for family. Was told I had to pay $15 just to see what was available. That is bad enough, but the gate monkey was an as###hole. I see other reviews here that complain about the same thing. I think the issue is that these idiots must be government workers, therefore, don't feel the need to be courteous to GUESTS! Please, train these monkeys so that tourists and locals have a good impression. It does not take much and what is really weird is that everywhere else you go in this area people are super nice and courteous. When I went to Sebastien for a look they were awesome. They told me 15 minutes and we complied, no biggie. I am only giving this 1 star because I live here. If not it would have been a big ZERO! read more

Very disappointing , overrated and over priced. Sites are very cramped and trees over grown. The pictures on the website are more the 5 years old, very deceiving. We paid extra to guarantee a pull through site , only to find out that it was no longer a pull through site because of the over growth of the trees. The campground has no illumination on the roads at night. The playground was located outside of the fenced area of the campground. All reservations and cancellations are on line via camplife with a processing fee. The precheckin process is on line as well. We were told the process was to eliminate waiting for checkin. Well again the online process is terrible and confusing. You had to call the main phone number for any requests even though there were staff in the office. We were told," We can't answer that or we can't help with that. You have to call the girls in the back." There are no checkin or checkouts on Saturday for any RVs. Campground boosts wifi and cell service availability, this is untrue. Staff told us at checkin the wifi is terrible and you can't connect . Cell service was also terrible throughout the entire campground. No cable service and the trees blocked any tv signals. This campground was highly recommended by family and friends. I will not be recommending this campground to any one. read more

The reception was warm and friendly...we had a lot of rain the first two days there and could not use any of the outside space due to flooding. Confined to our camper even when the sun came out. Do not accept site 213. The manager said he'd bring us pallets which never arrived. We didn't get any compensation, not even a free ice cream for The grandkids. It is within walking distance to the beach but aside from that no other amenities. We were disappointed...because Christine was so nice I didn't give it less stars!!! read more

I've always had great interaction with staff. The park is always clean & safe. Campgrounds are kept orderly. Busy times can be challenging. But some is dependant on other campers to cleanup behind themselves. Seems negative reviews getting top placement on this. Maybe if some have better experience with staff it's possibly not necessarily they acted inappropriately. I've usually found that you receive the service you request. Not always the case in restaurants. But generally at parks I've found if you treat the staff with respect and not like servants you will have a better experience. read more

No WiFi here, despite what they advertise. Man at gate was kind of a dick. No one to help find the spot or back in. Spots aren't numbered worth a shit, and it's extremely hard to see in here at night. To make it worse, it's pretty snaky trying to hook up in the dark with no spotter. read more

We have a yearly pass for Jetty Park $50. If you live outside of Brevard County it's a $10 fee just for the day. (ouch) The annual pass is worth it. Don't try to lie and say you live in Brevard County, they ask for your id now. Found out the hard way. lol! It's a great place camp, fish and hang out on the beach. If you are fishing on the rocks, you catch all kinds of fish. You can also watch the cruise ships as they head out to sea. They have a few bathrooms that are usually kept pretty clean. They also have a place to buy food, bait and whatever else you forgot at home. They did stop selling beer in the bait shop. :-( I think it is under new mgmt. So stock up before ya head to the beach. No glass containers are allowed, they will make you get rid of them. read more

Our second camping trip with the new camper and this one was better than the first. I have to say, if this is what camping has in store for us then we are in for some good times. What initially caught my attention is how much more spacious the camp sites are at this campground. You're not right on top of your neighbor. There is a nice short biking/walking trail, a huge wooden playground for the kids to burn off some energy, the beach can easily be walked to from anywhere in the Jetty Park campground, or hang out near the pier and get jealous of everyone leaving the cruise dock on a Disney, Royal Caribbean or Carnival cruise. It definitely helped that we had great weather, but there is a lot to do here for everyone in the family. Remember the beach I was talking about? Yeah, I don't know what it is but the sand is so soft at this stretch of beach and the water was perfect. We're starting to learn that you have to book these parks early to get a good spot. After staying at Jetty Park I can easily see why. We will be back here for sure. We have other parks waiting for us first though. read more

I almost don't want to write a review about Jetty Park because it might bring more people here. What a great spot. If you're camping or just visiting, this is a clean, well run place. I live here (about 1/4 mile south on the beach) and I love Jetty Park. But, for YELPERS, you deserve the best. Great spot for RV and tent camping. If you're just in the area, a good spot for fishing off the pier or just beach walking. During 'season' it can get crowded. But most of the year is 'off season' and it is really nice. If you're on season...suck it up and walk 5 minutes to the south and you'll be out of the crowds. read more

This is a great place to camp. The campground is basic, but it is located at a spectacular beach, that will be right outside your campsite. You can enjoy the beach, surf, walk, fish from the pier, or ride bikes. There is a good chance to see turtles coming or going from nests, and Dolphins in the water. The campground is located at the port and there are plenty of restaurants in biking distance. The office is a bit hard to deal with in making reservations, but it is well worth the effort to come here. read more

Attitude of gate keeper was pretty rude. Wanted to drive in to see the campground for a trip next year. $15 entry fee and was told that we couldn't get into the campground unless a registered guest. An outstanding facility given the fact it is owned/operated by a municipality. The gate personnel were awesome, polite and welcoming. We camped along the inlet where the cruise ships come and go and it is walking distance to the fishing pier. Our site was mostly level and easy to back our 30' motor home into the lot. Unlike the full-service lots, there is plenty of room on either side for our rig, picnic table, awning, etc. The only drawback was the water pressure was somewhat low. The little restaurant inside the bait shop is fast, friendly and efficient. $5.00 for a complete breakfast was a bargain! However, $2.50 for a bottle or water wasn't. As you exit the inlet lot into the office parking area, there is a two-position dump station. It came in handy after a few days of camping. You can fish off the pier on the campground's license but go anywhere else you'll need a fishing license. The pier is always full of hard-core fishermen and their families. Be careful if you walk on the pier that while someone is casting, don't get hooked! Be very vigilant at night for what's happening in front of you. Again, don't get hooked. You can't go wrong with this campground. It's about an hour from Disney/Orlando/SeaWord/Universal and it can make a relaxing diversion. Close to the shoreline near the rocks from the inlet sites, these areas fill up fast with day trippers. Look for dozens of canopies, pickup trucks and families. Some will fish, BBQ and just enjoy the scenery. We found a few of them rude, obnoxious and quite frankly, pigs. One man was enjoying peanuts and tossed the shells over his shoulder and on the ground. NO regard for the next visitor. His family picked up and left after the last cruise ship passed by and left beer bottles, beer cans, and a trash bag containing a few used diapers. The trash can was less than 100' away. Another rode his 4-wheeler (super sized golf cart) on the pier with his drunk buddies (at night) which was not allowed (no motorized vehicles) and clearly marked by multiple signage. Cigarette in one hand, beer bottle in the other and driving with his knee laughing up a storm. The jerk was unable to turn around so he (in a drunken stupor) attempted to back down a 2,000 foot pier all while trying to avoid families, kids and other fishermen. Great entertainment! All in all, it is a great campground. Just be open-minded to the fact you may run into a few drunks who don't use the best judgement. read more

After stopping by to check out Jetty Park Campground to see if we may enjoy this campground, we quickly decided ......NOOOOOOO!!!! When we stopped in the camp store, we were greeted by a nice young man. As we were asking him questions, an older (white haired, unfriendly) female staff member appeared. She over took the conversation and was anything but nice. Her answers to our questions were short and curt. She gave us the impression that we were bothering her. Apparently, she isn't in a job that she enjoys. As lifelong residents of Brevard County, we were hoping that this would be a camping option for our family. We are going to stick with Long Point Campground. The staff is extremely professional and nice. The old miserable lady at Jetty Park should take customer service lessons from the staff at Long Point. read more
