Nice shaded sites , they have a pool and sell the essentials in the front office if you forgot them. A small bikepath that goes along the waterfront with a pavilion. There is a small fed dog area and the best part of all it's directly across from the Cape. If you are here during a launch it's something, you'll never forget.

More of 2,5 stars. Breakdown: -the sites are a bit close, but typical. -DON'T SIT DOWN on the picnic tables as they are covered in sap. -the bathrooms and showers were clean! TRAINS!!! OMG. ALL FRIGGING NIGHT!!! it isn't that they rumble by, that would be fine. But they blare the horns all night long! Just as you're doIng off from the last blast. There or is again! -PLANES!!! Low flying until 1 a.m. -Affordable - decent pool and plenty of activities -ADA pier - Wi-Fi -sand fleas (?) because the sites are sandy, our feet are all kinds of bitten up! (sandals) I am a bit curious about the check in process... it's a bit like Fort Knox. There are guards taking hour information behind bullet proof glass, passing papers and exchanges through a tiny slot under the bottom. What kind of area are we in? Not at all a "howdy friend" kind of welcome. Oh, and when a customer asks about moving sites at check in, please don't say it is because your full when you aren't. Especially when we can see the park is 1/2 empty. That is just a lie which leaves an unpleasant interaction in the memory.

Beautiful place to enjoy nature. The campsites are pretty close to each other. So, there's not much privacy, if you go on a busy season. However, it's actually quiet and serene. I was only here for two days, and there was a lot to do. The amenities include: swimming pool, pavilions, shuffleboard courts, dog park, laundry facilities, showers, and many more. There's a stunning view of the Indian River Lagoon. You can come here to fish, kayak, enjoy a picnic, and if you are brave enough, you can swim. The waters seemed very rough. I was told that this a great place to view the space launches at Kennedy Space Center. It has a convenient location. If you are ever needing something, there is a Publix just down the road. Many trees, thus, it's super shady. The restrooms and showers are clean. I can't complain, everything was fantastic.

During our stay at this campground in April 2019 for 9 days and we found the park to be a great stop. We stayed Site 22 and had a large area. Some of the other reviews are correct in that there were perma-tent campers in the park but they were on the opposite side from us. We were able to enjoy 2 launches from the pier during our stay and it was convenient to other attractions. This appears to be a city/county run park and while it does have its drawbacks, we found it enjoyable and would stay again.

The beach is just right through the sea grapes hedge and the beach is gorgeous! You never find any trash left on the beach and everyone picks up after themselves. People are able to surf out there. Lots of families and lifeguards on duty. Prices are reasonable and you get a veteran discount. On some things, souvenir items, they're a little expensive because this is a tourist town. You can watch the huge cruise ships leave port from the campground. You can ride in a helicopter. There airplane tours. There is always a cool breeze by the temperature of the water and it always is a bit windy, which makes it very pleasant. We will continue to come here year after year as our 30+ camping partners will do and have done for many years. It's peaceful, no one is ever loud or disrespectful. The staff members are very helpful and nice. They have two new gift shops, fully stocked with things you might need. Grocery stores are nearby too. We had lunch at the campground. The food was good, just a bit dry. The deco is great too. And, we were lucky enough to watch an awesome launch of Elon's rockets going up! I'll load a few short videos if possible. Our group of campers highly recommend Jetty Park campground and we will definitely continue to come back.

It's close by...and I'll bet you didn't even know it!…read more It sounds sort of funny, but I never even knew this place was an actual park until recently. It was within walking distance of one of my friend's houses, and I somehow thought it was part of the neighborhood. This place may be cleverly disguised, but there is a lot to see and do, and this has one of the best inland walking paths in all of Port Ornage. The Good: Walk it off: Honestly the thing I like the most about Spruce Creek is the different walking trails. They go around the park, and even continue over the water, and everything is just beautiful. I used to come here all the time with friends and it was a cool spot to hang out. And if you're going on a mid-afternoon stroll with someone special, you really can't go wrong with this place. The trail is about 3 miles long, but even so, it feels very short. Nice and quiet: Aside from the occasional field trip, this place is almost never crowded. This could, of course, be due to the fact that this place is huge, and even when there are a lot of people you just don't notice them. Spend the day: While there's not really a whole lot to *do* per se, there are picnic tables and playground equipment. If you are trying to spend a nice relaxing day out, Spruce creek is the perfect place The Bad: N/A Spruce creek is a very peaceful and tranquil place to go visit, away from the noise of Daytona Beach. While it might not have as much stuff to do as a lot of the other volusia parks, I count that as a good thing. Overall 8.8/10= Just Chillin'

The proximity to I 95 offers a nice stopover…read morefor travelers however, beyond that there's not much in the immediate area (both the national seashore and Kennedy space Center are a bit of a drive). The reception area offers very limited convenience items, and while the folks that greeted at the front desk were nice, they were clearly sick and unmasked (coughing in customers faces) and no sign of a yellow KOA shirt to identify personnel. From our perspective, we're starting to see that many of these campgrounds have stopped catering to the short term camper/travelers that are not in 40+ foot self-contained rigs ( ie not using centralized amenities). The trailer or camper parking spaces are concrete which is a plus and include a nice picnic table and barbecue grill. Cabins and tent Camping on the grass is also available in the park. Cable hook up is also available. The electric and water were in good working order at our site. Some spaces are a little larger and offer fire pits for an additional fee. The reason we cannot give them a higher rating, is the condition of the bathrooms and general security surrounding the Campground. While the large bathrooms have key code door locks, they were inoperable most of the time, and there is nothing (fence, gate, security guard) to prevent outside traffic and foot traffic from entering the campground. We observed Campground outsiders/transients utilizing bathrooms and laundry facilities unchecked. The showers were spacious enough in the central facility, but temperature regulation (ice cold or scalding hot) and/or water pressure was nonexistent with hot water not available in several of the shower stalls. The ladies handicapped bathroom door lock was broken. Bathrooms available by the poolside are open to the public, not clean, and the men's bathroom door appeared to have been kicked in and gone unrepaired for some period of time. These were reported to the front desk, but nothing had been done before we left. The entire facility needs a once over on the maintenance side and a good cleanup. There is no garbage pick up service at the individual campsites that is typically found at other KOAs. All trash must be hauled to the front entry of the campground. I would say that this location is OK if you're looking for a night or two stop on a journey , or for someone who has their own rig and does not plan on using the central bathrooms, beyond that I would suggest you consider alternative options. This location is not a standard representation of the KOA brand.

Noise Level: yes I can hear the traffic from the interstate traffic when my air conditions aren't running so I'm sure if you're in a tent or in a cabin it could be somewhat annoying. Much of the noise I noticed was the sound of kids running on the play ground screaming with laughter or splashing in the pool - this wasn't so annoying to me, it actually reminded me of my childhood when I spent countless weekends camping with my family. If I wanted total silence I guess I'd find a deserted beach or boon-dock in some remote wilderness area, those are amazing moments too but not the norm at a family camp ground so set reasonable expectations and you may look at this place differently. Accommodations: Tent Camping - Cabins - Back-in or Pull-through sites for practically any size Motor-Coach or Camper. I paid under $100.00 for a premium site for my 38' Coach with all the hook-ups (50 Amp Electrical Service, Water, Dual Sewer Connections and Cable) from Saturday at 12:00 PM until Monday at 12:00 PM - they have a store, they have a laundry facility, showers and bathrooms if you need them. They have a playground for the kids and a giant pool. Most of the sites are shady and concrete, with a picnic table and are nicely landscaped. There are plenty of trash bins next to the office and they even have a clothing donation kiosk if you are feeling charitable. What could be better: The roads are paved, gravel or dirt depending on where your site is - the roads are narrow and the turns are tight (you may want to unhook the toad before going to your site) your guide will meet you at check-in and take you to your site, my guide was Eric he stayed until I parked and he explained the hook-ups. Your neighbors may be a little close but all I encountered were friendly. Wildlife and Domestic Animals: I met a few friendly squirrels and noticed one cat that seemed to be friendly - I didn't encounter any feral cats or barking dogs. I did encounter a small lizard but he was friendly too. All in all no complaints here...

There's also a small store right at the entrance, which was handy for grabbing snacks or ice. Our only real issue was with the check-in process. We arrived after sunset and, despite waiting twice, there was no one in the front office. Since we'd already paid online, we decided to head to our site and set up. The next morning, we tried again, but still no one was around. Eventually, we flagged down a staff member who was not very welcoming and came off as rude when we asked to check in.
