When I picked up the bracelet yesterday, I was shocked by a bill of $130 for the clasp & labour. It's not the amount but the fact that it's their product which broke. Turns out because the goods are pre-owned, they will only stand by their products for 14 days. That's it! I value customer experience and am amazed that a store with such long standing history, does not provide a better experience. I complained and the best the clerk offered was for me to pay 50% of the repair bill, for the broken product from their store. Very disappointed. Will take my business elsewhere.

Before going into the jewellers there is a door that you have to buzz into. We signed in with the security guard and were seated right away. The gentleman who initially helped us out was really nice and made us feel comfortable talking about the budget and what we were looking for. He wrote down all our information and told us that one of the sales people would help us further. We were introduced to our sales lady, Yasmin. We went into further details with her regarding what we were looking for and she was really friendly and helpful - but slightly pushy. We told her we were just getting an idea at the moment. She then insisted that she could order in a diamond with the best quality cut that within our budget just to show us what it would look like. We ended up making an appointment with her the following week to see. One week had gone by, we went back to Mark Lash and Yasmin was there to show us what the diamond looked like and go into details about the 4Cs. It was really beautiful! She then took down my ring size, asked me specific details about the ring I wanted and she would have it custom made for me. We had to put down a deposit to get it custom made. It takes about a month to custom make any jewelry. We decided to pick up two months later. I haven't seen the final product yet, so I can't tell you but from my experience, I felt that Mark Lash did a great job with their customer service. They did a great job in catering to all our needs and they worked comfortably within the budget we asked. Other than our first visit where I felt like Yasmin was a little pushy for a sale - all in all I would highly recommend Mark Lash if you are looking for good quality diamonds for your soon-to-be fiancé. :p

Some of the shop clerks elsewhere in the city could take a tip or two from these guys. I needed three signet rings engraved with a single initial each, and Joe did it on the spot, for a really great price and polished them all too! He even fixed a dent on one of them.
