Happy Repeat Customer--A Great Place to Call Home! A few days ago, on September 12, I stopped by for my second visit. I tend to be verbose. Now, I'm nearly speechless because, actually, how does one improve upon near perfection? I used the 'Home' metaphor because one can relax at home; it's a place of trust and comfort...that's what JewelRecycle represents to me. I had a pair of earrings, a herringbone necklace, and a ring with a heart-shaped Amethyst, set off by small clusters of Diamond chips--boo hoo. The boo hoo turned into a Big Hooray when I got $272! And, it's the little things that amazed me like the earring backs: they are gold, too. Keeping with my Museum impression, I viewed the beautiful Art pieces and artifacts. There was an original print of what the hustle and bustle of a day in a nearby commercial district looked like in circa 1920 or 1930...fascinating. As stated in my 7/28 review, Jill is the best. I was looking for awhile where to go to sell my jewelry and some coins. I have to say if you aren't sure where to go to sell yours, JewelRecycle is definitely the place. I had tins of jewelry and I knew it would take some time to go through them all. The two women who helped me were so patient, friendly, knowledgeable,and straight forward - explaining and showing me what pieces were valuable and why some weren't, which I found very interesting. Everything was done right in front of me. They made me feel comfortable and I enjoyed our conversations while there, (I was there alittle over 2 hours, (I had a lot)), and in no way did I feel rushed or that they were rushing what they were doing. The amount I received was more than what I expected. The whole experience was interesting. The store itself is very comfortable. If I needed a place to sell any other jewelry I would come across, I wouldn't hesitate to go back to them. I can't recommend JewelRecycle enough. After a collision, I needed some quick money for a car. I live in Graham North Carolina and went to my local trusted pawn shop to see what I could get for a couple of gold coins. To my shock, they offered me $700 less per coin than the current gold price! But being rather desperate, I wondered if I should bite the bullet and take a loss. My friend in Cary 'just happened' to call me while I was pondering my plight and told about JewelRecycle. I called them immediately. After speaking with Jaclyn in the Cary store, I made an appointment right away and to my surprise, I was able to sell the gold for what it was worth. There's a nice rocking chair outside if you need to wait I read awesome reviews before going and felt that this was a business that I could trust. Jayne Ann is very thorough and explained why she couldn't take something. She told me that one of my diamonds had a chip, so she couldn't offer me much but said it would make a beautiful necklace and she could buy the gold on the ring if I wanted to keep the diamond. I appreciated her suggestion. This was my mom's and I sort of wanted to keep it anyway. I got what I thought was a very good price on my silver set. That combined with some small diamonds and a few gold necklaces and mounts on earrings brought me a very nice check! Their technology assessed the type and amount of metal in jewelry, silverware etc. They sort by type, provide a price by weight. They check everything you bring in cheerfully and then the customer decides what to keep and what to sell. I went in having never been there before not knowing what to expect. During these tough times of Covid 19, money was short and bills weren't getting paid. I brought in some old single gold earrings, a couple of gold charms and an old gold watch of my mothers. I was greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel comfortable. I go to Raleigh chapel Hill and Cary. Any of the three are always excellent. Ashley at chapel Hill is such a pleasure to work with. The service is impeccable and you never feel uncomfortable. Even if all you have is a bunch of broken stuff you found in the thrift store dumpster :-) they make you feel as if you just walked in with a $10,000 gold necklace and give you just as much attention as if you did! I had a small bag of old jewelry I no longer wore. I decided to recycle it at a local jewelry store I knew to be reputable. They asked me to come back the next day. They called the next day and said they would pay $30 for my items. I picked them up and walked around the mall to Jewel Recycle. In 10 minutes she offered me $81. Cheryl was very nice.
