Dana is one of the few people in this world that still understands, respects, and honors his word. Dana helped me order a ring extremely last minute and when i tell you he went through hell and high water to get me this ring i mean it. there's no other jeweler i'll go to again after knowing that this guy wants what's best for me and is on my team. i appreciate that so much. he came in at the last minute, saved the day, and gave me the opportunity to give my girlfriend a beautiful ring. this guy does business right and i couldn't recommend him more. I wouldn't even give them 1 star. I had given them my mother's engagement ring for them to sell if they could. I had could not find the receipt that they had given me, I must have lost it somehow. Some random man came in with the receipt and they just gave my mother's ring to him. They did not even call me, which I had requested for them to do. They did not check his ID, or anything like that. I had to file a stolen object with the police. They didn't even have security video dating back to when the ring was taken. They handled my property like a pawn shop would. I am extremely disappointed and sad that my mother's ring was taken and they didn't even check to see if I was ok with some random man picking up my property. read more

I really love this place! It's so much more comfortable and laid-back than the typical chain jewelry stores. I was hesitant about making modifications to an heirloom ring that's been in my family for years, but they took great care of it and now it probably looks better than it did when it was brand new. They listen to your questions, do a great job of understanding what you want and are very knowledgeable. We also bought my fiance's wedding band from them. Though we weren't spending a lot on it, they gave us just as much attention as if we were buying a much more expensive piece. I'll definitely be going here for all my jewelry needs in the future and would recommend them to friends also. I had an absolute horrible experience here. I went in to get my watch fixed and the gentleman spoke to me in a very condescending way about how I should not have tried to change the battery. I understood that I had broke something in the watch while trying to change the battery and that is why I had came there to try to have it fixed, not to receive a lecture. He also implied a couple times that I had dropped the watch, which was not the case there. I will not be returning here. I also work at a business where I have constantly (at the very least twice a week) recommended customers to go there and I will no longer recommend this store. read more

I brought a ring here that I had been told would be difficult and expensive to size. The jeweler at Dana's looked at it for me and quoted an awesome price. They sized it no problem, fixed the etching and design that another jewelry shop had damaged, and they guaranteed their work. When I got the ring back, it was perfect! The etching was repaired and beautiful, the fit was perfect, and the price was 5 x's LESS than the other jewelers, no joke! They have just earned a lifetime customer. My third time here, none have been overly pleasant so I am done. Sadly, I would really prefer to patronize local business rather than the big name jewelry stores. This time I dropped off a tennis bracelet for the 2nd time. The first time, I asked for them to put a safety chain on it because the clasp was loose and I was worried about losing it. I was told it was a lovely bracelet, didn't need a safety clasp, the clasp just needed adjusting. After leaving it for almost 2 weeks (seriously? every one I have spoken to says that the standard answer from this store is 'we are about a week and a half out' on work'. I had the clasp adjusted, I picked it, and the next time I wore it I looked down and it was gone.....panicked, my party helped me find it on the floor. I recognize that the faulty clasp is not the fault of the jewelry store. I took it back and insisted on a safety chain. Same expectation 'we are about a week and a half out' on work. Against my better judgment I left it. At almost 2 weeks from dropping it off and not hearing from them, I called. "oh yeah, we had a chain we thought would work it was too short so we had to order a new chain. It will be ready on Tuesday. On Wednesday I called, and was told 'we didn't get the chain yet, It will be next Tuesday. It will only take 10 minutes to put the chain on, so once we get it it will be quick'. I drove by on Thursday this week, stopped in, not done yet but assured it will be done by tomorrow, they will call me. I told them i would be by on Friday, they called me and let me know it was done on Friday, and charged me $95 for a safety chain that took 3 weeks (and they made the mistake of telling me it was a 10 minute effort). I have since learned of several other local options from friends that have very high recommendations, so message me if you want some recommendations1 read more

Recently, I needed some rings sized and had no idea where to go to have the job done. I was looking for a place that did not send the work out, good customer service, honest employees, fair prices and expert craftsmanship. I found all of these things at Jewelry by Dana. Dana does AMAZING work. We brought in an antique ring that needed to have a prong fixed. Dana not only was able to quickly make the ring good as new, he also set it back to round so that it wouldn't have prong issues in the other stones. We liked Dana so much we asked him to help us design our perfect one of a kind engagement ring around a purple sapphire that my fiancé had given me. He took careful notes about the styles we both liked, details we both wanted, copied the ideas we had down, and really paid attention to what we wanted. After that meeting, he had a CAD rendering done to show us what the ring would look like. We approved the design, and he had a 3D printing done of the ring blank that I was able to try on. It was perfect. He cast the ring, set the stones, and brought our dream to life - all much cheaper than buying a mass produced designer ring that anyone could have. Dana also keeps an assortment of beautiful designs in his store to choose from. There are so many beautiful things in the store that it's hard to drag yourself away. read more

I have been to numerous jewelers around the Atlanta area and this one if by far the best. They are family owned and treat you like a member of that family. The knowledge of the employees is astounding. Whereas other watch stores charged me ridiculous prices and told me they had "almost 50" watches ahead of me on the repair list, these guys (Dana and his son Bret) took the time to talk to me, gave me incredible prices, and offered several options to my persistent questions. I also changed my mind about what I wanted done three times, and they never had a problem with my indecisiveness and were happy to adjust the requests. I got more done here for the same prices as a sizing adjustment at several competitors. Seriously, they took apart and restructured my entire watch while replacing the luminescent numbers for what a link adjustment cost at many other stores. These guys are truly the best. read more
