It is exactly why we are such strong supporters of local small business. Their store was immaculate and very well organized. They were all so knowledgeable about everything and so patient with us. Brady was the main person helping us, but every person there, jumped in at some point and helped us out. It's just like a family does. We fell in love with this place, and we fell in love with this family too. Their candor, their vast knowledge of diamonds and the industry itself was mind blowing. They gave us all the warm fuzzies!! Most importantly, Collins jewelers does everything in House and that is a big deal to me. They don't send my expensive jewelry off, potentially losing it, and having someone else do the work on it. They have accredited talented jewelers there who do all of the craftsmanship by hand. These are our new exclusive jewelers and we are so blessed to have found them. She is a cancer, the crab. I described what I was thinking, got a reasonable price and put 1/2 down. About a month later I got a call and the silver ring was ready. When we got there they wrapped it up in a pretty ring box and a cute little gift bag. It was a nice touch. It is hard to make a crab cute, but I think they did a good job of it. I talked to their cad designer and she told me my idea helped inspire her to make a whole line of zodiac jewelry. Which made me feel happy to help. When I returned to pick them up, Susan told me that one of the watches didn't need a battery it just needed to be "shuck up" because it was an older watch and had been sitting in my drawer for a while. It needed just some movement to start ticking again. How honest is that? She could have charged me for all three batteries, and I would have never even known. Wow! I also had some jewelry with me. Working 70 hours per week allowed very little time to bring it in to be fixed but I finally had a day to do that today. Spoke with Amanda who had to ask Chelsea if it was ok to send back. She tried to charge me an additional $40 to have it sized again! After asking if they only honor their repair work for less than a year they asked if I wanted to send it in or not. I declined and stated I no longer trusted them with my precious jewelry and an apology would have been appropriate at this point but she couldn't even offer that to me. Very poor customer service and awful business standards.
