Dr. Jex is amazing!! Very funny and knowledgeable. Doesn't bs, he explains everything for you to understand your body and what he's doing. Bonus points as well cause his office is BEAUTIFUL, Dr.Jex himself did all the interior design! How awesome is that. Doesn't up charge and his work speaks for itself i already feel like a new person. 4 stars for now as I've only seen Dr. Jex for 1 consultation and a few adjustments. Depending on future visits/progress I'll be sure to update this! Won't do a five star or three star change until at least 90 days of going regularly. I've been looking for a new chiropractor after moving and not going to one for a few years. Decided to start off the new year right and found Dr. Jex through Yelp! My consultation and adjustment along with initial paperwork took about an hour and I was lucky to be able to get in on the same day I spoke with the office. We talked about Dr. Jex's background, he reviewed my paperwork and asked a few probing questions about where I felt discomfort, if I'd been to a chiropractor before, and some questions just to get to know me as a person. From this first meeting I can tell that Dr. Jex really cares about being the best in his practice and seeing his patients get to their fullest potential. He also really cares about family and has been in this area for most of his life so he's dedicated to this community as well which is great since it's in my zip code! The X-rays and first adjustment was similar to the past chiropractor I've seen. We worked on my neck and lower back. It feels amazing when you can get adjusted! I am setting up appointments for 2-3 times per week after work and am looking forward to the progress as I have a job where I'm constant on the computer, and also go to school so I need relief for sure! Would recommend anyone to at least come and get a free consultation here. He can answer any questions about Chiropractics as well if you've never been to one before. There is ample parking in their lot, a waiting room with bottled water provided, and a nice restroom as well. My husband and I recently were involved in an automobile accident (someone rear ended us). I've had good chiropractors and I've had bad chiropractors over the last few years. Jex Chiropractic is an AMAZING chiropractor! With a move to the Renton area a year ago, I wanted to make sure that I found a good chiropractor. After some research, I decided on Jex Chiropractic Spine & Rehap, and I'm SO glad that I did! Prior to coming in, my neck was completely out of alignment and was causing headaches. My lower back was also having issues, and my left wrist could NOT be bent in a 90 degree angle (which was miserable, considering that I LOVE doing yoga). After a couple of sessions, my neck was significantly better, and now, I experience zero pain and zero headaches from my neck. I recently took a trip to Disneyland for three days, and usually, my time spent in the parks and being on my feet all day causes a lot of pain in my lower back. I was shocked that NOT ONCE did I had ANY issues with my lower back! I seriously was floored! I've been to other chiropractors who had done NOTHING for my lower back. After avoiding chiropractors for 61 years, I was drawn to Dr. Jex by a presentation at the Puyallup Fair. I've had occasional back pain for several years. I could not determine the reason for the pain, and my Primary Care Physician could only offer the standard advice (healthy diet, aerobic exercise, etc.), which I already do. After several adjustments, the pain is gone -- hopefully permanently. Dr. Jex is a very friendly and engaging person with interesting hobbies. You'll enjoy chatting with him. Scheduling appointments is very flexible. Appointments aren't necessary, though I usually call before I leave home. Note that the office is closed on Thursdays and Sundays. Just moved back to the area after living in NYC for a little over a year. Damn, I had a really good chiropractor in Brooklyn - I wish I was rich and be able to fly that guy over here 2x a month - but found Dr. Jex thru Yelp (hey that's how I found the other guy) and decided to give the guy a try. Wow! They are thorough, you get a spinal scan with some machine that tells you what's going on with your back and how it is affecting your organ functions. I thought that was pretty cool since it pretty much communicated to Dr. Jex what was going on with me and I didn't have to tell him. All the symptoms and diagnosis were all there that I have been feeling - like the machine was psychic. Anyway, Jex chiropractic really goes beyond the services offered at other chiropractic offices to truly understand what is going on with your body. I hurt my lower back on a job site and went to a clinic my work had recommended. They took my xray, prescribed me some medicine and told me to wait until next Wednesday to see a chiropractor. I called Dr Jex office immediately and he made an appointment with me the next day. He gave me a spinal cord exam and straighten out my back. He fixed me and make aligned straight again. I have gone to lot of Chiropractors and have heard some horror stories about how some people got worse after treatment. Dr Jex is in a different league all together. I have been struggling for lower back problem for last six months. I will wake up every day with pain and it will subside after 30 min; through out the day there were some problems, not enough to stop any activity but always bothering me. Later pain went to my shoulder and and down to my right elbow. I thought I got tennis elbow and could not move my hand without pain. I kept on pushing my self and hoping things will get better. One day at work I just just could not more or stand straight. I came to yelp to find a good chiropractor who can help me. I saw very good feed back for Dr Jex and thought of giving it a try. He saw me after hours and did adjustment and I could stand straight and went home. In the next 3 weeks I took 6 treatments and my back and shoulder pain is gone. I still have some some pain in my elbow but it has improved a lot I got full range of motion back in arm and can pick some weight now. back and shoulder are 100% better and elbow is 85% better. I have been a client since they opened. They have always taken good care of me and my family. My kids love to go and get adjusted when ever they can. Often complaining when I go without them. When they had been in a car that got rear-ended, I took them right to Dr. Jex to help them. My oldest son is a very active soccer player and is a little hard on his body in games. Usually sacrificing his body for the sport. Dr. Jex keeps him on the field doing what he loves. When i started to experience foot pain, I mentioned it to Dr. Jex. He adjusted my feet and I felt relief for the first time in almost a year. the pain was so bad that i could barely walk in the morning when getting up out of bed. After just a few months of getting my feet adjusted and making sure I have better shoes, I live mostly pain free. That was about 4 years ago. Now i go in every few months for a "tune up" on my back a feet. He has friendly staff that work there. I find they have very good prices on massages and adjustments. I have used most of their Massage therapists. each one is a little different in their technique.I have yet to have a bad experience with any of them. I did read a review about Eva. I will admit that Eva is a little unconventional, however I find when I have had her work on me, I come out of there almost floating. She does this stretching thing holding your legs and gently moving them from side to side. At first i thought this was a little strange, but after I realized it really helped my muscles adjust. I was relaxed and energized at the same time. Now I mostly use Eva for the massages. I highly recommend Dr. Jex and his team. When ever anyone is in need of treatment I always tell them to go see them. read more

Dr. Jex has restored my faith in chiropractors. I had seen one when I was young after a car accident and never felt like it did me any good. 6 months before seeing Dr. Jex I had seen another chiropractor for residual back issues following a work related accident. Again, no luck. When my husband bought me a Groupon for a massage (the only thing I knew to help my back pain) it happened to be at Dr. Jex's office. The receptionist let me know that if I wanted to consult with Dr. Jex that it would be free and could happen immediately after my massage. I agreed to it and when I met Dr. Jex I was blown away by his passion! I felt comfortable with him, like he really knew what he was talking about and he really listened to me and the things my body had been through. I could barely walk and was in desperate pain from an auto accident caused by a texting driver 4 months before my first visit with Dr. Jex. My 1st doctor must have thought my back pain was all in my head because she kept telling me it would get better --no x-rays or MRIs. It turned out that I got a new doctor 5 months later who had an MRI done which showed a broken back and 2 herniated discs. However, at the time I first saw Dr. Jex I was getting steadily worse every day. He got me up and walking straight within weeks of gentle work, got me into physical therapy in his office, all before finding out that my back was broken! I can honestly say: I'd been to 3 other chiropractors (and a few other back "specialists") who were unskilled in working with me and left me the same or worse when I'd left their offices; but Dr. Jex made my headaches go away, lessened my pain tremendously, and was able to understand my belief in good diet and natural means of healing to augment his chiropractic services. I am forever grateful that my friend recommended Dr. Jex to me, as I have recommended family members and friends who also love him! I have had back pain most of my life, but since having my son almost 2 years ago I had constant pain that was at times most unbearable. It kept me from being able to do the things that I wanted to with my son, and often put me in a bad mood or caused me to be snappy with my husband. I had gone to my regular doctor with the complaint that it hurt to do something as simple as pick up my son, to which she told me to "just don't pick him up". Well, that was not an option for me. The result from that visit was that I would just have to deal with the pain until it got bad enough for surgery. So, when I happened into Dr. Jex's office and he told me that he could fix my issues, to say the least I was happy to let him try. I can say that I am absolutely amazed with the difference that just a couple of months has made.
