Great service, shuttle drivers are very helpful the only issue is pick up upon return, Terminal 5 at JFK is always a zoo, and now with construction that is going on for years makes the pick up even more difficult...we find we have to literally run out into the middle of traffic to wave down the shuttle who then has to maneuver towards the curb which is near impossible...dangerous...Not really their fault....just booked them again, was dismayed because I always had a coupon that could be applied, but nothing to be found this time. Price is a bit higher than other places around them, but I read horror stories about these other places too and never parked with them. I've always used this spot for parking my vehicle when traveling out of JFK airport. It is fairly simple and quite efficient. The staff seems competent and courteous. I must admit that I haven't tried other long-term parking at JFK but SmartPark gets it done just fine so why bother. Since I've gone there before I think it is easy to find though I remember the first visit was more difficult. That was just too much to take in while striving to avoid the other drivers/cars/craziness of the area. The sign is right there and easy to see, particularly with its colors. I am highly disppointed with their service. We landed our flight in JFK at 12:30am. We called the shuttle service as soon as we got our luggage. We waited 1hour for the shuttle to come and the lady who answered the phone continued to make excuses. She explained that the shuttle will come in 20 mins. We waited 45 mins. We called back to confirm the time and she said the guy is on the way, but there were delays and the driver had to pick other customers. Then she confirmed it will take another 5 or 6 mins, however the the shuttle still didn't come for another 15 mins. It will be the last time I use their service. Do not use this place. The workers will hang out in your car and smoke pot. I picked up my car after being away for ten days and It seemed like someone was driving it while we were away.The gas level was lower than I remember and the seat was adjusted for someone else. Anyone giving SmartPark anything less than 5 stars needs to get a life. Almost 20 years now I've been using this company, and if I could save money somewhere else, if, I would still prefer the one company I trust with my car. SmartPark was a great find years ago, and not only is the staff extremely capable and friendly, the service is fantastic. I see that some gave one star then I read the ridiculous review usually revolved around a mistake, well, to them I say, I rent here quite often, haven't made a mistake yet and when they say, "be there in 10 minutes", they are there in 10 minutes. The young woman at the desk, (wish I remembered her name), has been there for the past 6 years, always accommodating, the people who drive the bus, hustle out and grab your bags, then at the terminal, grab them and put them at the curb for you. Consistently had decent experiences here. No change stolen. Mileage has not budged. No scratches. Reasonable pick up times upon arrival. They had a few disgruntled drivers who they seemed to have purged. The last driver we had was great. Real courteous and I felt he really deserved a tip. Went out of his way to help with our luggage. I had an airplane traveler's nightmare - coming off the Van Wyck onto the Belt, I hit something (probably a displaced drainage grate) blowing out one tire and flattening another. With my flight just 2 hours away I had little choice but to limp my truck the last mile to the SmartPark lot. I pulled in, explained that I would have AAA take care of my blown out tire (at that point I was unaware a second tire was going flat). The attendant said 'fine' and directed me to an out of the way place to park the truck. I hopped on the shuttle and made my flight. AAA was worthless. They wouldn't do any work on the truck unless the owner was present. I wasn't present - I was In Oregon. The idea of getting off a red-eye and then arranging for AAA to make the repairs was not attractive. I spoke with the manager of SmartPark and told him my problem. He offered to put my spare on. He further told me he could arrange for the tire guy he used to put an old tire on my other flat that would get me home. When I arrived Monday morning at 6:30 AM, my truck was ready. He refused my offer to pay saying, "I make money parking cars, not selling tires." The level of customer service was extraordinary. I will use SmartPark every time. read more

Although the reservation system was down on the weekend, I called and was told not worry about it & to come right in. I believe her name was Laury, she was extremely helpful. We arrived & the shuttle was already waiting there for us & ready to place our luggage into the van. The service was swift, literally not even 5 minutes. The drive to the airport wasn't even 5 mins. Upon return, we called for a pick up when we retrieved our luggage & we were picked up quickly. The check out process was also less than 5 mins. They're great & took great care of our vehicle. The best and only place to park your car when traveling. I have used smart park more than ten times and have never had an issue. Car always comes back the same way I dropped it off. You arrive and are immediately greeted, you jump on a van that takes you right to your terminal. Once you land and get your bags, you call smart park and they direct you to stand at passenger pick up, they are usually there within minutes. Lastly when you get back to smart park, your car is always pulled out for you, all you have to do is run inside to grab your keys. Love this location. read more

The workers are very professional and polite. You pull in the driveway, stop in one of the lines, and you give them your keys. As you get out, someone is taking your bag and putting it in the shuttle. We waited a few minutes until the shuttle bus filled up and then drove to JFK. Yesterday my wife and I parked our car with smartpark and were taken to the airport. The experience checking in and being taken to the airport was great. After being at the airport for 5 hours we found out our flight was cancelled along with hundreds of other flights. Smartpark came back and picked us up right away and they didn't charge us since our flight was delayed. Most companies won't do this. I highly suggest this company. They were very professional and very easy. Upon arrival you just pull your car up and give them your keys. They take pictures of you car and help you with your luggage. There is constantly shuttles going so you should not have to wait long. In my situation I never had to wait. When I came back from my trip they had my car pulled up for me to grab. Unfortunately my sister had lost her license she needed for travel. She realized this on the shuttle to the airport. The workers were SO helpful and kind with this. They immediately brought us back on the shuttle and one worker took the time to help us find our car in the lot to search for it. Then the shuttle waited for us to bring us back to the airport. During this they all genuinely seemed to have empathy for our situation. read more

DO NOT USE. Our car was left for 7 nights from the end of June to July. Once the shuttle pulled into the lot, we instantly saw marks on our car. We have a 2018 that is in great condition and there were many paint chips and marks on both mirrors, the hood, and the side of the car. When we questioned the staff, they kept looking at footage taken at 5am (it was dark) and said they could see the marks. There were no marks to be seen. They said the supervisor would call us the next morning. It has been over a month and we never received a call. We disputed the charge on our credit card and were still charged. We used smart park this past week and the drop off went smooth with great service, BUT!!!! coming home last night did NOT go well, we were given a card with a phone number to call once we picked up luggage, we called the number 5 times and every time it rang then defaulted to a message (this number is no longer in service) it was 6 am and we were exhausted from a red eye flight. I finally went on to their website and called them with the number provided there and someone finally answered. When my husband told them about it when we payed the woman told my husband she must of been on the line and it went to that message??? WHAT??? no apology either . My question, if this is an issue then they should have another number to call or a way to leave a message of voice mail. Not cool at all!! I was starting to think we wouldn't get our car back. Most of the time Yelp is a good thing. But I'm glad I didn't worry about the reviews of this place. We used them on a week long trip out of the country. We reserved a spot ahead of time and when we arrived, there was a van ready to go. Took our bags, and dropped us off. Quick and easy. Then on return, we called, and there was a van there within 10 minutes right next to the terminal. Quick ride back to the place where our car was waiting out front. We paid promptly (just $110 or so for 9 days) and off quickly up the Van Wyck. No problems at all. I asked them about whether our spot was "guaranteed". They said yes. They said that they had only an time or two when they had a problem was due to weather problems where a substantial number of people couldn't take flights to pick up their cars. As a result, their lot was way over-crowded. But even then, they found other spots to help people. They responded quickly to my e-mail about my question. So I would definitely use them again. A great way to go to JFK. I think the negative reviews here are definitely the outliers. Given the numbers of people that use them, I would skip the negatives and go with them. I am more than willing to give them another chance based on the owner contacting me. I will update after my next use! Just terrible. Arrival and check in were fine. It was pickup that was the worst. After calling we were placed on hold for 10 minutes then got a short, rude woman who couldn't locate our reservation as we stood out in the cold. After 30+ minutes and watching a smart park can drive by we finally got a shuttle. The customer service Is completely non-existent and I will never use them again. I should have listened to the other reviews prior to booking. My recommendation if you decide to park with "smart-park" is to be prepared to use an uber or cab when your plane arrives. read more

Smartpark JFK is truly a stress free way to park when you go on vacation. Their location is easy to find and the people who work there are super nice. You pull in and your luggage is whisked onto a van, you climb aboard and within a few minutes you are at your terminal. The drivers help you with your bags and are very polite. Purchased a Groupon to park here for a week long vacation. Got in from a 10 hr flight to pick up my vehicle and the woman behind the counter was beyond rude. She demanded the Groupon, so I presented her with the receipt from Groupon. She said that wasn't what she was looking for and just kept repeating "Groupon Groupon, I need the Groupon." About 10 minutes went by as I tried to look up the info on the site, but unfortunately my phone didn't have service. A man behind the counter said to look it up with my license plate but she ignored him clearly just to give me a hard time. This should not be the type of person working customer service. Just awful. The driver dropped off and picked up other passengers which added time (but I think this was due to the construction at the airport). * We used SmartPark again in January 2018. My husband and I had 6 hours flight and arrived in NY almost 2 AM. I called them to pick up at 1:48, 2:04, 2:16, and 2:26.. now it is 2:35 AM and still didn't show up. If there is some problem at least they can call us back and advise to wait inside or something! No Customerservice and no sensibility! They kept telling us that the first one they didn't have enough seat so I said okay.. but almost an hour now and no pick up?! If they are really full then they should increase the shuttle bus!
