As a mother of a child who has level 3 autism I would expect to have more support for my child on the van. They have a monitor who just sits there for the ride but does not assist the children on the bus. Transitions can be difficult and they will not wait more than 1 minute without being extremely ignorant or pulling off even as we are walking outside to the van. It takes longer than one minute to walk to the end of my driveway and if I sit outside with my kid she will have a complete meltdown. I would also like to add this is on her IEP. The driver and her assistant need to realize they are transporting CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS AND THEY ARE HERE TO ACCOMMODATE EACH CHILDS NEEDS NOT THEIR OWN!!!! I wish the transport system was more understanding and nurturing to children with special needs. That being said I am going to pull my daughter from JFK door to door van services and find a way to get her to and from school daily so she can be properly cared for. read more

During travel from 2012-13 I also took advantage of their frequent flyer card so every 8th airport trip was free. Their local competition may advertise *lower* rates, but don't be fooled. Unlike the other guys JFK includes tax and tolls in their fee, truly offering the best deal (with no hidden fees). All major cc's accepted. read more

Called several hours in advance for a taxi to Logan Express in Framingham; never showed up. No call. No nothing.

Passenger was throwing trash out the window into traffic. Driver did nothing to stop this from happening.

after throrougly researching online we decided to go with JFK for a trip to Logan. no where did it mention anywhere on the website, nor in the 2-4 phone calls (inital questions and reserving our ride) and in conversation directly in person with the driver that we would be charged an additional $20 for a return trip from Logan if not booked in our orignal reservation as a roundtrip. we were informed half way through our trip home from logan that we would have to pay a flat fee of $95 -- not the $70 flat fee ($75 with $5 off coupon) we intended to pay. the driver told us to call monday morning to explain and he was sure they would reimburse us the $20. Well they refuse to reimburse us and we will not be using JFK again. we frequently travel to the airport and so they will 100% be loosing our business. they should be reasonable and up front with their customers. read more

Taxi smelled if cigarette smoke and driver was pissed off about something . Not a pleasant experience

Most dishonest taxi company ever! One of their drivers, Lloyd Sheck, hit my side mirror while swerving around a parked moving truck. I didn't get a police report because I had to get my daughter to the doctor. I figured minor damage and clear violation. I'll get his contact info and deal with later in the day. JFK reported that *I* hit him while *I* was swerving around the truck. Seriously? Is my $300 repair really worth your reputation? read more

AVOID THIS SERVICE. I called at least half an hour early and scheduled a taxi. They did not come at the time I requested so I called them to find out when (3 times) the person on the other said they driver was on his way and was a few minutes away. He also said I only called 10 minutes earlier forgetting I have a call log that shows when I first called. I showed the call log to the driver before I got in the cab.(now 10minutes late). He drove to my work place and I was in a hurry, I payed and hoped out the car. As I walked away, he yelled bitch, loud enough for other people to hear, I turned around, looked at him and just kept walking. I really do hope this company runs out of service. I would rather call UBER. UBER is efficient and more reliable. I have never felt so outraged in my life like I was that day. 20 minutes late for work and insult. Avoid this service. We booked a round trip from Dover to Logan. Dover to Logan uneventful. On our return, as we reached baggage claim, we received a phone call that the vehicle had broken down on the way to the airport and it would be at least an hour for another to get to Logan. We were told that we'd receive a credit for the complete round trip AND a gift certificate for another round trip. We took a taxi from Logan home. The credit and the gift certificate appeared promptly. JFK could not have been nicer. read more

we contracted with JFK to drive 10 people with luggage to Logan. They provided 2 vans very clean who showed up early to accommodate all of us. Got us to the airport in plenty of time. Drivers were very courteous. . Upon our return to Logan, we had already received a voice mail that our driver was waiting for us before we landed. . Even with the extra fee for an extra early pickup on one of our rides, this company's price was better than others. We've used JFK several times over the last couple of weeks. The drivers were polite. However, the cab came late a few times, with no apologies or explanations. Today, we were late a few minutes to come out and the cab left. I called the dispatcher (Wendel, I believe) and he yelled at me. What a jerk! I will never use them again! read more

This summer I used this firm for a Sunday 6am taxi for to the Rte 128 Amtrak Station. Because of the early hour, I confirmed the night before and was cherrily told that all was set. The one star is for the reservations. 6am Sunday morning, no cab, at 6:10 I called the office to inquire and was told that the cab was reserved for 6:15. When I said that this was unacceptable and that they could not just change a confirmed reservation, she nastily responded that there was nothing she could do, and I could just wait for the cab to show up. No apologies, just take it or leave it, then offered to cancel the cab since at this point I was clearly irate. Given that answer, I chose to drive to the station. Needless to say, this company cost me over $100 in parking fees. I will not use this firm in the future nor will I recommend them to anyone. read more

The two times I call them the cab is late, second time I called and it turns out "it will be the next car out". I had arrange for the car way in advance so this is completely unacceptable. The guy on the phone was impolite, answering my concern with their service with a blunt "Do you want the car or not". If you ask me these guys think they have more business than they need. i go to fsu so im forced to us them often even though i wish i didnt have to, Honestly they all suck! every drive ive ever had was an awful driving and they are rude at times. one time they rear ended someone while i was in the car and i was still had to pay for my ride! so i then called and said i didnt think it was fair that i should have to pay when you got in an accident with me in the car, then manager then said "well we did complete your ride because the accident happened right infront of the location we were dropping you off at" he could have hurt me but he completed my ride, its an absolute joke! another time they told me it would be a half hour wait and 10 mins later the driver had arrived, now normally that would be great but i was getting ready to go home for the weekend and didnt have all my stuff ready, i rushed to get down there and the first thing she said to me and my friend was that she was waiting to long and next time dont call to we r ready to leave, such a witch then on top of that she was picking up other people from other dorms which wasnt a problem except she started the meter before we picked everyone up! then we picked up this kid and she slammed on the door on his hand, poor kid! anyways enough of me ranting i just want everyone to know how awful jfk taxi is and if i had a choice i would never us them ever read more
