I called him about 2pm on a Friday afternoon to ask about installing a plug for an EV charger. He answered on the second ring and asked for the details as well as a pic of my electrical panel. A couple of texts back and forth and he said he already had the needed parts and was available to do the job the following Sunday. This obviously wasn't an emergency and I told him so but he insisted working Sunday was no problem. He showed up exactly on time Sunday morning. I mentioned I thought 4-5 outlets needed repair, and was quoted $400. When the electrician came, the outlets were functional, my tenant just didn't know they were tied to light switches. He spent 25 minutes on-site and only did light wiring on two outlets, but still charged $350 because "that's what was quoted." No materials used, just labor. He did give a $50 discount, but $350 for 25 minutes is the most I've ever paid for basic electrical work. When I pushed back, he said "Google placement is expensive." If you use this company, insist on a basic service call first. Don't agree to pricing until someone actually sees the problem.
