He was quick to respond to my request for a quote and was helpful with suggestions for the project. His quote was very reasonable and his crew were able to begin four days later. They arrived on time and ready to go at 8am and we did a walkthrough to make sure we were all on the same page. Javier and Oscar impressed us from day one. Their work is *meticulous* and at end of each day, they cleaned up and neatly stacked their gear out of the way. I was glad to see that Tim arrived exactly when he stated he would, and came in with all the tools he needed, plus more. As well as took his time to full diagnose the issue. We came to the agreement that the water heater needed to be replaced due to multiple factors. He didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary things and I was the one that requested and recommended extra work that needed to be done such as valve replacement and vent inspection. Tim went above and beyond with installing new straps, the valve, water heater, reseated the ducting properly, as well as as put in a much needed gas pipe to reduce any dirt or debris from the gas line into the water heater burner. It took him a bit longer than expected, but he thoroughly tested the water heater, burner, and hot water. I was very impressed by his work and how clean the installation was. I think for the experience, expertise, and quality of Tim's work its was an excellent value. We even upgraded to a larger tank for not much more which the family was very happy about. We have also signed up for the yearly maintenance. I highly recommend Tim the Water heater guy, as he does a great job for a great value.

I was very worried about my sandstone walkway that leads to my door, but they were very careful and gentle with it, while still getting the dirt off. Fito Parra arrived on time, with a truck that held a lot of really specialized equipment; this wasn't a side-job, but a profession, and I could tell that he really cared about what he was doing. He was able to get tough stains out on a patio that had not been cleaned for probably 15+ years. I had bought a power washer from BestBuy and tried to do it myself, but it took me an entire Saturday to literally do a quarter of what he did in almost four hours. Fito/KC Power Clean uses steam, some light chemicals (or you can say no) and industrial power wash equipment. I was also very impressed by how he cleaned the dirt splatter off the walls, and did an excellent job. My driveway and patio looked brand new! Kevin followed up asking how the service went, and sending me before and after pictures, which was another professional touch. I'd recommend looking at their Youtube channel and watching what these guys are about. They seem to take care of their employees, their customers, and are growing the business, which is nice to see. I could have paid someone else less to use Lowes/HomeDepot pressure wash equipment and chemicals or simple green, and my patio would have looked just a bit better. But considering this is licensed, insured, and the equipment on the truck was professional (for example, they have some motor on it that heats the water to make the steam, and a machine that could wind the hose back up), I felt that there was significant value. I have a few pieces of very high quality wood furniture (Thomas Moser) that lived through raising 4…read morechildren. We bought it in Maine, moved it to San Francisco, and then to Carlsbad. I contacted Thomas Moser about recommendations for repair in SoCal, and they recommended "Furniture Girl", owned by Johnna Stanzione of Long Beach. I rented a truck and took my furniture to her for repair and refurbishing. She estimated that it would take 6 or 8 weeks to do the work. It took 7. She delivered the renewed furniture and carried it in from the truck. I was dumbstruck. It looked better than when it was new. She fixed some imperfections in the wood, replaced a broken chair leg, and refinished everything. My wood furniture is alive again, and I am so happy. If I bought furniture at Target or Macy's I don't think I would bother having it restored by Furniture Girl, but this stuff is precious, and Johnna brought it back to life.
