We contacted Top Shelf to diagnose and repair a water leak we were experiencing coming from our kitchen ceiling. On five different occasions, Top Shelf's "plumbers" were unable to correctly diagnose the problem, despite having opened holes in our kitchen ceiling twice, opening the wall in our adjoining neighbor's townhome and opening holes in our bathroom wall. The level of incompetence these "plumbers" displayed is beyond our comprehension. Not only were they incapable of removing the shower handle back plate in our bathroom shower, a feat which I easily accomplished using an allen wrench, they incorrectly diagnosed the leak as an issue with our bathroom toilet. As a result of their misdiagnosis and their inability to locate the leak, we have been left with thousands of dollars in damage. One would have hoped that following their first four unsuccessful attempts, the owner would have personally inspected our issue. We are extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism exhibited at the executive level of this company. Likewise the level of incompetence displayed by their employees is inexcusable. read more

we had a stuck water cartridge and couldn't remove it. i called top shelf to inquire about their services and chris actually gave me tips on how to remove it myself. that was so generous of him to help me try to fix it myself before needing to pay for his services. unfortunately, the cartridge was really stuck and i could not get it out myself. i called chris back and he was able to come by, remove it, replace it, and put the handle back together. chris was professional, efficient, and worked around my schedule. i highly recommend top shelf for your plumbing needs. read more

These guys were sent out by by HOA today. I was so pleased with how nice and on time they were to begin with. Pete was able to locate the problem very fast. He quoted a price that was fair. After he talked with my husband and I got the go a head to fix the problem. He asked when would be the best time to fix the bad drain line. I said "now".
