First off, I can tell you that the staff here genuinely enjoys their line of work, they like being…read morethere, and being there for you. When I first spoke/met with Destiny, I was like ok she is the Boss, and I say that because she keeps everyone in order, on both sides, and I'm pretty sure she's the one responsible for seeing that everything runs smoothly. Not sure how many doctors/therapists work here, I've seen around 6 or 7, but she seems to hold it all down. I appreciate the level of communication I get from her, when scheduling appointments, and I like the reminder texts she sends that you can actually respond to and get a reply. And even though she's always busy, she's always a peach and is very welcoming when I come in. The facility is easy to get to, you can park in the front on the street for 1 hr parking, although Destiny advised against it since there's a history of idiots crashing into parked cars on Sepulveda. Or there's a huge lot in the back, and an entrance that's clearly visible. So today I had my 7th session with Dr. Key. Actually, maybe he's the Boss. But a different kind of boss if you know. Straight off, you realize you're getting treated by someone who knows and truly understands how the body works and makes connections with the necessary actions in order to rehabilitate you. Also, he cares. That's everything, right? Anyway, he def makes you feel comfortable and pays attention to your needs in terms of how you should be.paced and considers your individual progression. With Dr. Key and Madi (who I believe is currently working on her masters or doctorate and is totally going straight to the top cuz she's a baddie) you'll feel like you're in good hands. Although I would rather not have to deal with the circumstances which brought me to them, I do feel grateful to have them looking after me. Backing up real quick, I was referred here to aid in my recovery from a head/neck injury. The accident was actually three years ago but I'm still suffering from headaches, pain, stiffness and weakness on my left side. I've learned that recovery isn't always a quick fix, and that with patience, it also requires work and the willingness to be persistent and consistent with the things that will help truly help you get well. And for the long run. I'm hoping that by rehabbing and strengthening my body through PT, I won't need to rely on drugs or pain management for the rest of my life. I'm learning exercises that I can keep doing past the time I spend here, which I will appreciate forever. So yeah, they're legit and recommend them tremendously.

All the staff and employees are very kind, compassionate and friendly. They are professional, too. A big shout out to Destiny, Edgar, Rose, Joshua, Yulissa and the rest. READ IF YOU ARE INSURED AND ARE TRYING TO GO ABOUT THIS VISIT THROUGH YOUR INSURANCE…read more I wish I can give the doctor 5 stars and my 2nd visit receptionist 0. First visit was spectacular, as dr Kian Javid relieved a lot of my on and off issues that I had going on with my back on and off. Due to day to day life and work. (I work for UPS) Due to reading his reviews prior it was mostly about him and his wonderful practice so I considered. unfortunately I had to terminate my business going into the 2nd visit.as of 4/14/2023 My main issue with this establishment is the lack of the "fine wording" that does not get communicated properly with the patients. I went to the website and looked and read everything. However it did not work out that way . I ended up having to pay 150.00 out of pocket FIRST VISIT just so my insurance can be legit and verified that I am not HMO well at least that's what the nice lady on my first visit told me. I didn't make a big deal due to thats probably how they do things there. however that was not communicated to me via phone when making my appointment as well as what is stated on their website. (Misguided and falsely advertised) 2nd visit came around same week and a different receptionist told me otherwise. She printed out some typed out guidelines stating "blue cross of California and not blue cross blue shield". Kept telling me to read it, but all I wanted was some clarity and understanding on how they are billing me. The guideline paper did NOT state or answer any of my questions I wanted to ask. Also, it's clear that they do not look over the patients chart because she asked me what my co pay was and she has a blown up photo copy of my insurance card sitting right in front of her. On top of it saying PPO and not HMO. Lol, I nicely told her what it was anyway, (10.00) and she rudely commented that NO, its more then that". Lady how are u going to tell ME what my amount is when clearly you can't even read the proof of insurance that's right in-front of you? This is not my first rodeo with the chiropractors and the doctors etc. I'm sure I know what my copay is. SECONDLY, I came in early to discuss how I will be billed meaning my (insurance) due to the 1st time charge of 150.00. (Which I would be reimbursed by them if my insurance covers them per conversation with the 1st receptionist/nurse of my visit) If I have insurance why would I want to pay for a service that is covered through my network? Common sense- I left and cancelled my business. she then told me she will contact me once she gets in contact with my insurance. I left and sat in their parking lot and pretty much just did her job for her. 10 minutes later with answers ...I called and verified the coverage "with Blue Shield of California" and sure enough I was 100% with-in network and covered. Sadly I was charged when I shouldn't have been, or at least help me understand vs sitting there trying to explain to me what their other blue cross blue shield patients dealt with and arguing with me what my copay is etc. I don't care how good the care and facility is, if I am treated otherwise by staff and I present my facts with proof and want some kind of valid understanding then I will NOT continue my business.

I saw an ad on FB: $37 for consultation and adjustment. I felt that was a good deal, so I decided to finally heed them people's advise. They sent text and email messages to complete forms prior to the appointment - highly recommending this to save you tons of time. I arrived a few minutes earlier and was immediately given a questionnaire. I was met with a medical assistant a few minutes later and followed by Dr. Cole Carson not too long after that. He was very thorough about the exam and explaining my symptoms and how we can treat it. He took me at their treatment area after the exam. He posted me at a mechanical back massager while he attended to another. No complaints here, that was pretty relaxing. He then took me to another table to get adjusted, and oh boy: that was a lot of cracks! My neck and my back was relieved almost immediately. But he did explain I might feel a little bit of soreness for a few minutes because there's a bit more blood flow in places where it was minimal before. I guess you can say this place popped my chiropractic adjustment cherry. Hehe... I felt light when I left. I felt soooo relaxed, I slept early that night. FYI: I was told regular price is $60/sesh. Future visits are a great possibility. Will most likely return when the need arise.

LAX Physical Medicine has saved my back…read more This place was referred to me by a co worker that heard I was having lower back problems, I was open to a referral and especially after hearing that he has been coming here for many years. I was told to ask for Michael since that was the doctor he had always been helped by but said both doctors/brothers were amazing. Quick back story I injured my lower back a few years back running marathons and fast forward years later I was working out and my lower back went out on me along with lower back pain. I was literally out for a full week on my hands and knees crawling because the pain was so unbearable so I finally made the call to come in. Doctor: Michael has been such a great asset to my recovery and getting my lower back back to normal. It's been a process but he has been with me from day one and is always checking on me to make sure I'm getting better and that I'm happy with everything. It's good doctors/people like him that are hard to come around. Front Staff: The girls at the front are simply amazing! I called an advance to see if they would take my health insurance and they were so friendly and helpful, They verified all my information and scheduled my appointment. I've been a patient about a month now and they have been such a pleasure and making the process so easy and stress free. One thing I can appreciate is that they call you a day before all your appointments to remind you, so if you're a hott mess like me a reminder is very important lol. Back Staff / Physical Therapy: Amazing! The staff in the back are all guys and they are just great, they are all very down to earth and great workers. At first I was able to just see/hear the interaction with all the other patients and they just seemed to get along with everyone and once I started PT I understood why. They all work very well together and make sure everyone is being taken care of. Location: The office is literally by LAX airport which is why I'm assuming they call it LAX Physical Medicine lol. It is located right off a really busy street and they have free parking out front or just up the street. I do see a parking lot in the back of the building but I'm not sure if you have to pay or not since I never use it. I give this place and the team a solid 5 stars, so if your in need of anything or just have questions I say call and see if they can help you. SYOY :)
