Is this Yoga studio only for Koreans or only Korean Friendly? I grabbed a flier because I am interested in starting Yoga and this is the closest location but I noticed its all in Korean... Looked on the back and there is no English translation.

Apparently it is, I just made an inquiry in person and the lady couldn't get rid of me quick enough. She told me several times that she only speaks in Korean as she spoke to me in perfectly understandable English. I felt rather insulted and… Read more

She cued agency, which I really appreciated. It also felt like she picked up on the emotional energy in the room and met the class there, instead of reacting to it. She wove in small moments of education around posture and form, which were really nice reminders. That combination of attunement and strong asana teaching feels really special. I would not and do not expect this every single class... as that's a lot to ask from any human being... but the class she taught last week truly embodied all of this.

I've now been five times, and every class pushes me to work a little harder and get a little more out of it. If you haven't tried hot yoga yet, you owe it to yourself to go at least twice -- that's when you really start to feel the experience. The studio itself is incredibly inviting, from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. The bathrooms are spotless, and the whole place has a clean, welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back.

Just took an intro Pilates class here this morning with Aaliyah and loved it! If you're new to…read morereformer Pilates or want a class that's more focused on form and stretch, this is for you. They do fill up the entire class so the instructor isn't demonstrating how to do the moves, but she does walk around and correct form/help you transition. I appreciated this class was so much more focused on making sure you nail the basics because too many trendy studios try to "push" students do harder moves than their core is ready for. I already weight lift so I like Pilates to help me recover and practice good form (especially because I'm prone to not engage my core enough when I lift!). I'm sure their non beginner class is more challenging, but this was a perfect, restorative Saturday morning work out. I also liked the intro course because there were students from all age groups and no pretentious vibe that I've had at other studios where students judge if you're in aesthetic clothes or not (people ranged from cute fits to comfy gym clothes so you can totally do both here). Looking forward to coming back whenever I need a good recovery stretch and to perfect my core strength!

I like their Reformer classes that uses the machines like Pilates. It is difficult if you haven't…read moredone Pilates but the instructor tells how the correct form. It really engages the whole body and working one muscle group. For Reformer: bring grip socks or else you'll have to buy it from the studio. I also took a yoga class. You can grab 2 yoga mats to make it more cushioned. The class itself was ok, I'm new to yoga so some of the exercises were hard esp holding the position with your abs. For Yoga: don't need to bring anything . They provide yoga mats What kept bothering me was the amount of ants on the ground near where I was. It was super bothersome. I couldn't even concentrate on the class. Even though I killed some ants, there were still more crawling on my mat and around my area. I told the instructor who said she'll let the owner know. I hope the owner cleans the studio. Parking is around the building and free parking. The location of the entrance of the building is on the street side so you'll have to walk to the street side to enter the place.

I've tried bigger chain yoga studios and large classes. I never knew if I was doing anything correct or making progress. Cara gives instant feedback and encouragement throughout her classes and workshops. What I love most about her classes is how she challenges you, but doesn't push you (if that makes sense?) She will challenge you to try new things and connect with your body, but doesn't judge or make you feel bad if your mind/body isn't ready. My other favorite aspect of Cara's classes is the strength she helps you build. There is always a purpose to her flows. This has helped me improve on poses/movements I formally thought impossible. Cara offers regular class, workshops, private trainings, outdoor yoga (summer time) and occasionally partners with local business for fun yoga outings. You should definitely check her out, she is super easy to talk to, and is caring and compassionate towards all who enter her space :)

I am so glad I found Cara Fraser and her great little studio. I do yoga all over but one thing you…read moredon't really get from the big classes is individual attention or a break down of particular poses so I was happy when I found her intimate studio with personal attention. She offers affordable workshops that focus on pose series (we are on arm balancing) and building blocks (hello, do you know how often I wondered if I was actually doing a pose correctly?). Well, she breaks them down to their basics and walks you through them so you feel more confident in doing them. Cara has a casual, relaxed and welcoming vibe. She doesn't take things too seriously and had a great sense of humor. She really knows her stuff and I am learning so much. Check out her workshops, you won't be sorry.
