This place is amazing! The owner and the teachers are fantastic and so friendly! It's like a little family. I haven't had a chance to take every class or meet all of the teachers because of my schedule and pregnancy limiting what I can do, but Rowan's gentle yoga is amazing, Stephanie's Restorative and Meditation and Sound Bath classes are a must, and the owner Tina's Meditation and Sound Bath classes are fantastic. Those are just some of my favs that fit my schedule and limitations. I've only heard positive reviews of the others from other members. They have a great selection of classes for all levels and will help give you modifications if you need (they've all been super wonderful at helping me navigate the positions I can't do carrying the baby). We just did a corporate event here, and our staff was absolutely blown away. We had three activities for them to do as a thank-you following our busy summer season, and this one was by far the favorite. I am very happy to have found this studio and so close to my house. Just walking in the front door I knew this was the studio for me. It's filled with light and good energy. The front desk staff are always warm and welcoming. There are many different styles of classes that can fit your needs and all of the instructors are great at working with you on your personal goals. They also offer many different fun classes and workshops to grow your knowledge and always make you feel like you belong. I wish I had more time to explore them all! Yoga Sol offers a wide variety of classes (morning, afternoon and evening sessions) that accommodate all levels. Their highly trained instructors are very knowledgeable and provide modifications throughout classes that have helped me to progress through my practice. The meditation and sound baths are wonderful relaxing experience. And, bonus they have reception staff that are there to help you with your membership questions (which was not my experience at other local yoga studios) and it is not uncommon for Tina (owner) to be at front desk greeting everyone. Don't get me wrong, but this studio may not be for everyone. I'll share my personal experience to give you an idea of what to expect. The studio itself is very clean and nice, and they provide all the necessary prompts and tools except for the mat, so remember to bring your own. I purchased a Groupon voucher for unlimited classes and was really excited about it. Last week, I attended two classes but ended up canceling the third. Towards the end of each class, there were 15 minutes of healing sounds. I have a history of migraines in the past, and I wasn't sure if the healing sounds with vibrations and frequencies could trigger my migraines again. Unfortunately, after each class, I experienced migraines at night for about two hours, followed by a light headache for the rest of the day. This week, I booked three classes, and I attended the first one. However, the regular instructor was on vacation, so someone else led the class. During the practice, this substitute instructor used healing sounds for about 45 minutes during practice. Immediately after the class, I experienced a severe migraine, worse than the previous week. What's concerning is that the migraine has persisted since Tuesday night, and today is already Friday. If you're solely looking for yoga classes focused on stretches and exercise, this studio might not be the right fit for you. They incorporate Reiki, chakras, and healing sounds, making it more of a spiritual experience rather than just stretching, exercise, and breathing for fun. read more

Yoga Sol, an amazing studio with a professional, caring staff. I had the treat of recently participating in their retreat, held in Big Bear this year. It was an incredible experience, filled with various types/levels of yoga classes, healing massages, delicious vegetarian meals, fun, creative artwork, detox foot baths and many opportunities to just relax/meditate in nature. It was a pleasant surprise to enjoy an unexpected boat ride on Big Bear Lake with participants from all walks of life. This studio is awesome. I joined on a whim because it needed to get moving and I was having chronic back and hip pain. Since joining, I'm no longer in pain and I'm much more agile and flexible. The staff is do kind and helpful. They all knew my name after the first visit. They are so relaxed in attitude to make you feel calmer and happier. The instructors are duper friendly and helpful. It's an overall amazing place. For $24, you can try out all the classes for 2 weeks. They have a huge variety. I only take stretch and restorative classes, but they have many options. Within less than a month, I felt so much better. Once your two week trial is over, there are so many options. You can pay per class, buy a series, buy a month or pay for unlimited which is what I did because I felt it I would go more which is definitely working for me. read more

It's been 3 years since I wrote a review for Yoga Sol, and since then there has been a change of ownership. BUT it is still the same wonderful studio. The current owner Tina taught my class today, and it was the whole yoga experience. Hatha Flow. Thoughtful sequencing with a monthly emphasis. Today was the throat chakra, and the peak pose was shoulder stand series. At the end, Tina played the crystal bowls and then walked around with wonderful chimes. Been going here for the past couple of months and I am really happy. Nice facility. Nice office personnel and more importantly the instructors are good. I like Tina the best, but all are good. I have tried 5 different instructors they all have a different way of doing class, but worth going. Always feel refreshed and stand up taller after class. I yoga'd for the first time today. I participated in the therapeutic yoga class. My instructor was Elizabeth. The class was relaxing and rewarding. I have limitations to what I can do, how I can move, due to medical issues, which is what this class is all about. There were approximately 10-12 people in the class. When a pose was introduced that I clearly could not do, Elizabeth discretely said, if anyone can't do this pose, then do this. She was very discrete, I was the only one having difficulty with one pose and Elizabeth was understanding and helpful. I bought 2 weeks unlimited yoga for $30. Sweet deal! I'll be back Friday for the same class. They have mats for rent for 10 or one can be brought in. My first impression is excellent. Let the healing begin!!!! read more

I started going to Yoga Sol last December and I can tell you it already feels like home. Every teacher is friendly and welcoming as well as the other yogis too! It's a great community. Take a class with Rowann you won't be disappointed. Today was my first yoga class at Yoga Sol. I really enjoyed my therapeutic yoga class led by Anh Chi Pham. Anh Chi was very knowledgable about the body. Each student had individual needs and Anh Chi assisted each one of us with personable attention. Also, Roseanne was very nice too. She checked me in and was very upbeat and friendly. Pros: Beautiful, new studio Individual baskets to store your shoes and other belongings. You are allowed to bring your belongings in the class, which is a major plus for me, because I feel better knowing my stuff is secure Individualized attention (I've only worked with Anh Chi so far, but I am anticipating that the other instructors are just as accommodating.) Soothing background music Yoga equipment provided: bolsters, blankets, blocks, straps, balls, sandbags, yoga mats (rental), and there were wall ropes (my first time seeing something like that, but looks fun and interesting) Plenty of classes to choose from, including therapeutic and restorative classes Online scheduling Cons: My only critique would be about the lighting. When I'm lying face up, I prefer soft lighting, otherwise the bright lights make it harder for me to relax into my poses. Toward the end of the class Anh Chi shut off the lights which I very much appreciated. Overall impression: This is a great new yoga studio. Yoga Sol studio gets 2 stars, for my reason I will explain. The appearance of Yoga Sol is actually very nice. They have an amazing aroma therapy smell to it when you enter. But, what I have to strongly disapprove of is how they do not offer a free trail. You see, I had just moved into the city of Yorba Linda and was looking for a meditation studio. I am very picky about my instructors and we all know there are some great ones but yet some bad ones. When I visited their website they had a deal of $20 dollars for a class. Since I was looking for a class I can regularly take I decided to pay those $20 dollars. When I visited Yoga Sol (fully prepared with my yoga mat) I had informed them that I was new in town and wanted to try their class. I showed them the special that was online on my phone. The lady had informed me that it was not valid for the class that was about to start. That they had a special going on for a membership of $60 dollars blah blah blah. I honestly told her I was not interested but interested in trying out one of their classes to see if I liked the meditation instructor. They said I would have to pay $30 to take the class. There and then I got a vibe that well... they only care about their sales. I left and looked somewhere else. They lost a client. I have now been a client of Full Circle Yoga for months. Im glad Yoga Sol pushed me away. I hope your experience is different than mine, but this has been my experience from Yoga Sol. read more

There is no comparison between yoga at studios like Yoga Sol and yoga at local gyms/community centers - especially for newbie yogis who need solid guidance and instruction. For locals who are interested in feeling better both physically and mentally, Yoga Sol is a MUST-TRY. This studio is super beginner-friendly, clean, and not overcrowded. What really makes anyone's introduction to yoga amazing is the teacher, the master yogi, the guide. There are so many factors that make a yoga teacher GREAT. A few of my Yoga Sol favorites: Amy Valdez - Amy has such a soothing (and beautiful singing) voice and calm disposition. Her classes are majorly peace-inducing. Alisha Vasquez - Alisha's classes are pretty straightforward and effective. She's one of those yogis who you want to applaud upon demonstration of a new pose/sequence. With her cool and mellow personality, she creates a safe place to try to new things and take your practice to the next level. Heidi Hong - Hands down, my favorite. Her smiley persona is contagious and her passion for yoga is incredibly evident in the way she teaches. A super helpful quality about Heidi's instruction is her diction. There are a lot of description and reminders to listen to during a yoga session. So I really appreciate her ability to say it well - diction, tone, volume, pace, heart - she's the best. I'm only a few months into yoga, but it was a game-changer for me and I am addicted for life. read more

This studio and the people here are awesome! I'm a beginner and was looking for a place where I could learn and feel comfortable being newbie. Every single person that works here is genuinely nice and cares about your experience and your needs. You get a true sense of family and community here. I started doing yoga because my doctor recommended it and I see why! The Restorative yoga class made me feel better than I did leaving a massage, I was so relaxed and it gave me a great night's sleep that evening. The teacher Noelle is wonderful! I am very impressed by this new yoga studio. It's clean, spacious, and has a peaceful ambiance. I took the restorative yoga class taught by Gindy Nagabayashi. She is very knowledgeable about the body and I liked that she incorporated some flow yoga in her class to warm up the muscles before getting into the restorative poses. I've been practicing yoga for almost 5 years now and have been to a variety of yoga classes in different studios. This is one of the BEST studios I've ever been to. I like that they have all the yoga equipment that you can think of such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, extra mats, straps, and even ropes on the wall! It doesn't get better than this! My dad and I attended a morning class with Amber as our instructor. She was very easy to follow, and lead a great class complete with breathing and centering to quick movements through several poses. It was a nice blend of poses I was familiar with (and could hone my technique) and new pose (for me), which were a welcome challenge. It was also refreshing that Amber incorporated some humor into the class! Very nice facilities, too. My only complaint: I wish they were closer to my house. :-) read more

I've been to several yoga studios in the area & never felt as at home as I do at Yoga Sol. My favorite instructor there is Amber Sanchez (Savage). I really enjoy her full body & soul approach to yoga. I always leave feeling more full & somewhat tired, but less stressed & much more focused. Update: Unfortunately, Amber is no longer with Yoga Sol, but the other instructors here are very good as well. Noelle, Amy, & Ahn Chi Pham are some of my other favorite instructors. I grew as a yogi & learned a lot from Amber's classes. I take this knowledge & understanding of the mind body connection to all yoga classes & life experiences. My first visit to Yoga Sol was last Saturday for a Crystalline Bliss workshop led by Michelle Smith. I've been attending restorative yoga classes here twice weekly for several weeks now. I love the spacious, clean vibe, the friendly front desk, and the low-key, yet specific instructor-direction. I plan to try some other classes soon, but for now, I'm prioritizing these two.
