This hair style was extremely secure, and I wanted to keep it in all day until I went to sleep because it was so perfect and didn't hurt my head. It was a very efficient process, and she really listened to what I wanted and incorporated that. What I really appreciated is that we demo'd the hairstyle before actually getting into it, and she was really good at asking the right questions to help me understand what choices I wanted to make for my hair. Who doesn't love a fresh blow dry. I have been in Atlanta for over a week and I have been in hotel rooms as I transition to a more permanent place. So long story short, I have been struggling with my hair because I have been using hotel products. I miss my own shampoo and conditioner and being able to style my hair. Today was a little different because I was hosting a job fair and I wanted to make a good impression. I called Latoya yesterday to try to schedule an appointment and she was fully booked, however she was able to accommodate me for her first appointment for today. I was so incredibly grateful because she was able to do it at 7:30 AM it was perfect for me to be able to get ready and head straight to the event. I left feeling gorgeous. Latoya is honestly the BEST blow dry stylist I have ever been to. I have long, very thick frizzy hair, and she makes me look like a queen every time I see her. Her online booking system is SO easy, and she is punctual! I literally only had to wait more than 5 minutes one time, and for working with people's hair (not all of whom she knows) she manages her time expertly. She also uses really high quality products and it really shows in the final result. I try to make it in once a week, or as often as I can during busy times, during her Mon-Wed special but even the standard price is very reasonable. Latoya is awesome and very knowledgeable about all hair types. She can control my thick and unruly hair. And recently saw that my hair needed moisture and that is why it was breaking off so severely. I was doing so much intensive protein treatments that I forgot about moisture and now my hair has excessive protein. I'm glad she knew that and now I can get back to moisturizing my hair. Do not waste your time and bother booking an appointment with this unprofessional & extremely disrespectful salon! I called & booked an appt on Thursday for Saturday morning with the owner since I couldn't book it online. Everything seemed great on the phone, ended the call with see u Saturday. Only for me to show up and be told my appointment was cancelled cause I apparently didn't confirm it via email and paid a deposit. I tell her I'm confused I booked this on the phone. Why not just ask me for a payment then! Or atleast inform me to go in my email & do it!!!! Also why not give me a call to let me know "hey we're about to cancel ur appointment we need confirmation and down payment even tho we never gave you the heads up courtesy " ... & then to make matters worse, the owner didn't give a damn that this was a horrible mistake on her end and didn't bother fixing it at all. In fact she was extremely rude & didn't even feel bad. To make matters worse, I'm a single mom of 3 with no car and this was a supposed Mother's Day treat. Major fail! This has been a complete waste of my time and my money on Uber!! Save your money & save your time. Do not bother booking. read more
