I had to leave to go to work so my recommendation would be allow yourself enough time. They didn't even offer a free blowout, but if I had missed the appointment, I would've had to pay for the blowout. Overall Drybar is usually consistent and this is the first time I've had a stylist not show up for my appointment.

I did not have the patience to explain to the young lady the same thing over and over. I asked for no part and she made a part. I asked for round brush curls and my hair was not curled on the ends. And when I pointed out the areas that were not blown out she rushed to blow dry the section in the back while also pulling the hair from the front. When you sit in someone's chair to do your hair the vibe must be right and today it was not. Very disappointed to the point where I left no gratuity which I never do. Little did I know that I was going to come out of my appointment with my hair done to perfection, but even better was meeting Robin and Dee! I'll start with my hair since that is the main focus of finding a salon! Robin took time to talk about what I was looking for, she asked questions to understand my hair care routine, styles etc. She listened and gave her feedback. My color was matched perfectly, and although the cut was just a trim with some slight layers, it was a noticeable difference. Needless to say I love it and Robin is amazing! Then there is the studio and these awesome women! I walked in to the warmest welcome and an instant energy that was inviting. I felt like I had known Robin and Dee for years....we talked the entire appointment! The studio is in a building of salon suites, so there are many rooms of various businesses. I was looking for NYX eyebrow stencils. The website told me which locations I would be able to find them. The first location (near perimeter mall) the young lady stated she had never seen or heard of the product. She spoke with her manager over the radio who did not know either. So I left disappointment. I went to the Cumberland location and asked Josiah for assistance. He went to the area where the product should be. Then he went a step further, asking the see the item on my phone so he could look up the item number. He found the product in their system then found it on the shelf. I appreciate him for taking the extra step to locate the product because I was getting frustrated that Ulta's website was advertising a product as being in-store if it actually was not in-store.

I have been going to Curlie Girlz Rock for years and I'll go through a period of doing flat twists for warm months and then switch to silk presses for the fall/winter. On Sat Nov 23, I had an appointment with Naeema for a color touch up and silk press. Since it was a busy Saturday, I expected a long wait. She began my service within 10 minutes of my arrival. Her ability to manage multiple clients with ease is another plus. My wash , color and conditioning went smoothly. And during my drying, she suggested a trim. Which I expected since I hadn't had a trim in a while. My press and trim and style was skillfully done. My color is a rich light-medium brown auburn which, I love. Also, I asked Naeema about maintaining my press because I am an active runner. And I took her advice of high ponytails and cool air drying after my long runs and it's quite effective. I am pleased with my experience and will continue going to Curlie Girlz Rock.
