When again asked about full synthetic, he shut it down and said, "We only have full synthetic and said Hondas only take Full Synthetic." The he gave an estimate of $142 for Full synthetic and labor.... And tried to add other unnecessary parts when I tried to pay for the oil change after they were done. Unfortunately, I didn't read the comments from yelp prior to visiting. Learned very quickly they take advantage of women.... I explained to him I could fix something myself. And he was adament about he had to fix it right then and now. Dude... I said no. Move on and respect women better. This needs to go to corporate as you are falsely advertising the MOST expensive oil change as the only available oil you have. Usually..... All the other jiffy lubes I've been too were great customer service. This ones ROBS you through unnecessary services and is rude. Hopefully, this gets handled for the better. read more

Went in for just an oil change and the next morning my truck leaked out 4 quarts of oil. Took pictures and a video of how much of a mess that made underneath my truck. went and got new oil and an oil filter and as soon as I took the filter off they changed it had a chunk of the old oil filter gasket stuck to the new one as to why it wasn't sealed properly and making my 2024 ram almost needing a new engine. Store manager only refunded me the money I spent on oil and not a filter or even offer to clean my truck. Store manager Sergio refunded me the money back in cash. I'm assuming so his boss doesn't see the stores money go back to a credit card. Situation was not handled well and 10/10 do not recommend going here because how unprofessional this crew is. read more

I've used this place for the last 12 years. It was always good. I went in, got my oil changed, looked up a coupon on my phone and paid using my coupon. Today, I checked in, signed for my oil change, told the guy I was going to find a coupon to which he said "that's fine ". When they were done another guy came in and told me They don't accept coupons for a conventional oil change. I told him they always accepted them. He told me they were under new management and the new manager made that rule. I told him I was not paying the full price because the other guy agreed before they did the work. He finally caved and said the most he could take off was $10.00, I told him that was good because I had a $10.00 coupon. I don't know what to think of this..... but I didn't like it, I decided I will be going somewhere else in the future. read more

Had gone to a different jiffy lube the day prior for an oil change and tire rotation. I had to go back because it felt weird- the tightening the lug nuts. The next day it still felt off while on the freeway, I was about to start a long road trip and was pretty concerned. Been coming here for a few years and never had an issue until today. Went in for an oil change, $39.99 guy was really nice and suggested I replace the cabin air filter as well. (Another 39.99) when I declined he said he'd give me $20 off plus the $13 off coupon I already had, around $50ish total. So I was like, okay, sure. When it came time to pay, a different guy came in, took my coupon and then charged me $76.22. When I asked about the $20 off, he said he wasn't sure and that the other guy wasn't there. Hello im a lil upset and think people should have the quality work they are told they will get i took my nissan van to jiffy lube in atwater on first st to get spark plugs changed took them four hrs to do job a 1 to 2 hour job then called my husband said its ready and not shaking anymore .my husband goes to pick up van and its still shaking so my husband rides up to office after paying 360.00 says my vans still shaking guy says back well boss says no guarantee. So we get another mchanic next day tears it down and low and behold wire connection to spark plugs was dangeling guy plugs in puts van back together starts right up runs grest guy at jiffy forgot to plug wire back in so now seven hundred into a spark plug change now.we call jiffy lube tell them what new mchanic fount we desreve a refund at least half they said no but we can give you a free oil change like omg seriously watch out for that jiffy lube crew theylle get you oh and they do not guarinty there work. read more

I've been to this location a few times and usually have no problems, but the last time I went, they didn't tighten my oil filter after the oil change and even possibly stripped some threads on the oil pan. My car continuously leaked oil for days before we could identify and fix the problem. Very disappointed, will not take my business there again. read more

Went in for an oil change today and the customer service was the best I've ever seen! Was helped by Steven and I believe Jacob? Steven made sure I had all the info of what was done and made me feel safe leaving knowing all was well with my car. Was greeted by gentleman and left with my car parked in front and Jacob holding my door open as I got my daughter and I in the car. Even my 5yr old noticed the kindness and said "Mom those guys were so nice to us huh? That was so nice of them to give our Lydia (cars name) her oils" We never go anywhere else! Thanks guys! UPDATE: After bringing it up again they admitted the amount originally estimated was a mistake. It was supposed to be $39.99 so it was fixed. Still curious though... Idk what the whole shpeel about price and company changes was about then... --------------------------------------- I guess Jiffy Lube in Atwater Merced switched companies (I don't know what that means bc it still says Jiffy Lube on the building and on their uniforms..) so now their signature oil change that is advertised for $39.99 cost over $60. I was already here and on a time crunch, otherwise I would've gone somewhere else, which is what I recommend you do. Oh, I also asked if they could tighten my belts, but they said since they're not the ones that did it last, they "can't touch it" All seems very strange to me! read more

They removed shifter console and broke my shifter and for why? I asked them to do an oil change...a simple oil change. Were they trying to get to the oil reservoir tank from the top of my console??? Went to Atwater Jiffy Lube for the first time today to get my oil changed. They informed me that my front brakes were gone and I was driving metal on metal. I thanked them for letting me know, but was going to take it to tire/brake shop to have them look at them. Drove directly to tire shop in Merced and my brakes are PERFECT!!! Pulled up to 2 empty bays and 5 employees ready to service my truck. Everything started off smooth as all of them walked around checking lights and tire pressure etc... was told there was no oil on the dipstick and recommended buying their additive to stop leaks...funny thing though, that's the same thing they told my fiancé for her vehicle. They then offered to change the air filter and top off coolant, I agreed, and they got back to work..couple minutes later 2 new customers pull in and ALL work in my truck stops. 20 minutes go by while my truck sits there, they call for one of the customers after me so I get up to ask what's going on...apparently they didn't have my air filter and had to send someone to find one at the local parts store... really? First you sell me something you don't have, then don't notify me that it'll be an extra 30minutes while they go looking for one? I told my wife to take our car to Jiffy Lube to change the oil because most the time it's just a couple dollars more than what the oil cost its self. Usually I do the oil change myself on my car. They take full advantage of my wife and no knowledge of vehicles. I told her to get the cheapest oil change which would be around 40 to $45. They told her she needed the most expensive oil which came out to $80 total rip-off unnecessary. read more

Lobby guy said i had to get the 79 oil change it was "required" since my car is turbo, so i said are there any coupons he says i know theres a 13 off and if you look hard enough there's a 20, so i find a 15 show him hes like yaaaa im not supposed to accept it because it doesnt list an exact location on it but i will, so i sit down they start i keep looking and i find the 20 off so when it comes time to pay im like i found the 20 off so i show him and hes like yaaaa i cant take it, im like so you can override 15 but not 20... when you told me to find the 20 off coupon in the first place, he refused to take it, when i went to get in my car everything was taken out of the glove box and left on the seat and some part was in the cup holder i told him you can come figure out where this goes, i shouldve told them to clean up there mess, horrible customer service, if i could give zero stars i would, this isnt even the first time ive had an issue with this guy, he tried to refuse my groupon last time i was there! read more

I went in for an oil change at this location. When I got home, I noticed my hood was improperly latched and the coolant level light came on. When I returned to Jiffy Lube and informed them of this, I was treated rudely by the manager who didn't even have a name tag. I was not offered any fixtures to my problem about the coolant light except for a small fee they would top it off. I've never been to an oil change shop that charged for a cup of coolant. Jiffy Lube, in all its location, has lost a customer for life. read more
