Standard issue Jiffy Lube. In, out. Get a coupon from the website; but their maillist blather might make you growl. Negotiate prices first. They were professional, did their thing, I paid, and was gone. That's how maintenance should be. My only beef is that their coupon system should be dropped for a standard good price that's well-known. You can save money, but they make it too hard, and too stupid, amounting to a game with the customer. This said, with coupon, you pay a reasonable price. read more

I went to this location years ago and wasn't very happy with the service or politeness. I noticed it had good reviews recently so I decided to give it a shot. They were great to work with. They were very prompt. I happened to be the first one there in the morning so I happened to pass most of the staff as I walked in. They were all getting set up for the day and each one of them were very polite and courteous. I'm fairly familiar with my vehicle and what is needed. Went in for a simple service before my trip to the airport. My car was damaged and a whole part had to be replaced which kept getting delayed. Did not get clear explanation of how the damage occurred (I think an employee broke the part) just vague descriptions and was charged full price. read more

I've got HORRIBLE experience in this place. If you care of your vehicle, you WILL NOT let those people change oil on it. It Seems like these guys don't know what they are doing. In my case, they did not tighten the oil filter cap and guess what, after my driver gone 200 miles out, oil blew out through the oil filter cap and messed up all over the engine! Our driver is a very experienced guy, he stopped the vehicle right away and spent hours to go to the nearest auto part store to get the tools, oil and oil filter and REDO their job on a FREEWAY shoulder. Our vehicle is a Mercedes Benz Sprinter 2022! I pray the engine is still ok. read more

Patrick was the one who helped me get an oil change. But he did so much more than that. First of all he is incredibly well mannered and honest which is what I most respect about him. Secondly he communicated the issues with my car and throughly explained their individual statuses. I asked him if he could also tighten some screws in my battery area and I was happy to pay but Patrick just said that it was no problem and he was happy to help me out. I almost never review anything but restaurants. But I'm making an exception. When I checked in, I noted my tires were low to the gentleman working the front desk. When he checked me out, he read the technician's report, yes checked fluid, yes checked lights, yes checked tires, etc. A different guy working pulled my car out and then immediately returned it to the bay and told me he had to do that because my tires were low. Turns out the original tech didn't do any of those things - just checked the boxes, changed the oil, declared me done. I was fortunate the second person noted it and was legit. It got fixed, but it gives me pause as to how often this happens. Quick service oil changes are notoriously overpriced anyway - convenience has a cost - but at least do the work - all of it. read more

Went in for an oil change.. The oil pan plug was Frozen and the staff worked to get it out for over an hour.. In the end they had to drill it out and put in a new one.. This was done at NO extra charge and the staff was very friendly.. I'll go again..Receipt says that I can get up to 2 free quarts of oil as needed for the next 3, 000 miles.. Such a good deal.. Excellent service, all team members were very courteous and professional. The manager (Rob) even told me that my tires didn't need rotated after I requested the service, which saved me $30. That's a VERY rare quality these days! Patronize honest businesses that look out for their customers when you can, and this is one of those places. I was also in and out in under 15 minutes. While I can't speak for all Jiffy Lube locations, this one excels at customer service. My partner has taken her car here for years, and I started taking my vehicle here as well for the last few oil changes I've had. The biggest draw is the fact that they top off fluid for free if you stop by between oil changes. Recently, I took my girlfriend's car here because she was having an issue with her brakes and I read online that it might just need brake fluid. The employee at Jiffy Lube explained that they no longer top off brake fluid unless it is classified as an emergency, due to the fact that if brake fluid is low, if often signifies a larger problem, and can also contaminate the brake lines if there is such a problem. He offered to take a look at it to see if they could detect anything amiss with the brakes, and when they found the issue, allowed me to go down beneath the car so I could see it for myself. They filled the car up with brake fluid before I left to make sure I could at least drive it to a shop, and did it all for free. I was incredible impressed with their willingness to inspect my brakes, even though that is not a service they provide, and then to allow me under the car to let me see the issue up close, as well as explaining the mechanics of the issue to someone who is not mechanically knowledgeable (i.e., me). All that without expecting a dime. I highly recommend this Jiffy Lube to anyone trying to decide where to take you vehicle for this service. I occasionally see promotions for less expensive oil changes at other businesses, but I prefer to have my oil change records available at one location should I need them, and the free fluids between service makes the price a solid deal. Not to mention the fact that, as my recent experience demonstrates, they are willing to go above and beyond to take care of customers when they are in need. read more

We've been taking all our vehicles here for years, however, we will be finding somewhere new. $77 for oil/filter change ONLY! No tire rotation and no further work was done. Seems high!! In addition, they advertise in the local Mail Pak flie, however, my husband was told they "don't accept those coupons"? They are the only address listed on the coupon & are the ONLY Jiffy Lube in Bloomington. He gave my husband the $5 in cash back but said they wouldn't honor it again. In TODAYS mail, what do we get? Another JiffyLube coupon for THEIR location in the Mail Pak flier. I wasn't happy about the $77 charge but they are quick and efficient (I guess, I don't know anything about cars). If your a female do not go here because they will completely take advantage of you. I just got my oil changed like 3 weeks ago and they (as they all always do) try to upsell me luckily i knew to say no. well 3 weeks later, i have so many car problems that i've never had until i got my oil changed from them. when you get your oil changed they say oop all your other fluids have been filled and are good. well that's a damn lie cause here i am stuck 2 hours away from bloomington because my engine overheated. hmmmmmmmm i thought they just filled my coolant up? weird. i don't have a coolant leak, just simply didn't have any. This place is as good as you can hope to get. The people are friendly, intelligent and efficient. The place is well run and the facility is clean and organized. As with any garage, they can't control how many other customers might be in front of you. But once this place gets started on a car for a basic oil change, it will not take more than 15-20 minutes, so the line moves quickly. This includes all the add-ons expected nowadays (tire pressure check/fill, top off all fluids, windshield/windows wash, vacuum of interior). If you're the only customer being serviced when you arrive, more than one technician will work on your car, and you really can be out in 10 minutes! The price is competitive. read more

I took my car in a few times for a simple oil change. All was well until I took my car to Bridgestone because they are temporarily closed. So I get a call from Bridgestone saying that my oil cap and pan were worn down due to a mechanic there putting it on too tight. I now have to pay $700 to get a whole new oil pan. If you cant trust them to do a simple oil change I would not trust them to do anything on my car. Please stay away-- these techs know nothing!! read more

I went here today because Walmart had a wait of over two hours and everywhere else was booked up. For a basic oil change and tire rotation, it was 74 dollars.
