Does what they promise. Make sure your phone quote is what you paid. They have to be reminded of this, and this is why they're not 5-star to me. They nonetheless did work for me that was fast and correct. You can't shop for groceries here. There is no pharmacy. No overly loud waiting room music. Old school. Straight to the point these guys are legit. Very friendly, and very good pricing. Guys up front are awesome and easy to talk to, and always put the customer first. Ive been in twice over the past 3 weeks for tire issues, one replacement for two tires and once again today over a leak. ( all different tires that had problems) Took me less than an hour to get in and out, leaks repaired and all, and i still have time to get home to get ready for work. These are my 'go to' guys for any tire related issue. I have used them in the past and now that I am a Tesla owner, I will be bringing my Tesla to them when I need tires. They are polite, professional, and really good value value for money. I just bought a Tesla model Y 5 months ago and this past week I picked up a nail on the left front tire. They fixed the tire while I waited and did not charge me for the fix. Who does that these days? Tieman has the Tesla-specific "hockey pucks" needed to jack up a Tesla and they are knowledgeable. Great experience. Needed to replace the tires on my 2012 Prius. Went into Tieman (pronounced TEE-man) Tires on Monday to get some advice about what tires to buy and to see what they had in stock. They had the tires I wanted plus a sweet $50 rebate on that brand and make of tire. They are a first come/first served, no appointments kind of place. I brought my car in around 10:30 today and the work was completed in about an hour. The waiting room is no-frills, CMT playing on the TV, a candy machine and a coffee maker. They have WiFi, just ask them and they will give you the password to access it. Would definitely recommend Tieman Tire to everyone in the area looking for new or used tires or repairs. Anyone who needs new tires, tire repair, whatever, Tieman's is the greatest place around. They are some of the most honest, fair, and knowledgeable tire folks. Don't go anywhere else...and they are a local shop. My son-in-law and daughter bought me new tires last September. Since then I've been in for repair twice. 2 different times I picked up nails. Then today I went in because my tire sensor was blinking. Original theory was the battery was dying in one or more tires. Expensive fix. Reasonable cost per tire. However when they checked they discovered my blinking tire sensor light was caused by their employee the last time I had my tire fixed. The mechanic took time to talk with me about various tire options and gave me multiple quotes. I also like that I can have my tire repaired there during its lifetime if anything should happen. New Michelins saves the day! I almost sold a car that we bought for my daughter because it handled so poorly. I brought the car in three times to discuss options. It is a Jeep with aluminum wheels and an optional larger tire size. I had a bunch of questions. A ton of options. And, I needed some handholding through the decision making process. Every single question and concern was answered attentively and completely, during the course of three visits over 4 months. You just cannot get a better team of sales and service specialists with a knowledge base to match. Each brand of tire is made differently and the softness and gumminess of the Michelin tire was just what we needed to resolve a multitude of old car sins. It no longer pulls to the left, skids out on 'take off', or feels like it is in need of shocks or possibly front end parts. It feels grippy, tight, solid and safe. Tieman's helped us pick out a great alignment specialist for our older 4WD car and we will be taking it in with its new tires on Monday. I couldn't have done this expense without their help timing the rebates and sales in such a way that the 5 tire set was within our budget. We have exclusively used Tieman Tires for many years and many vehicles and have never been disappointed with perfect repair and replacement services. I used to recommend Tieman's to everybody I know. They always delivered a reliable price and good service. All that is out the window. First, I negotiated a less than competitive price on two tires. While I was waiting to have them installed, somebody backed their vehicle into my driver's side door, leaving a dent and scrape. I notified the manager that my car had sustained damages and he checked the security footage. They couldn't identify if one of their employees or another customer had damaged my car and refused to work with me on the price of the tires I was scheduled to have installed. At that point, I grabbed my keys and got out of there. I understand they had no legal responsibility to work with me, however, the damage DID occur on their property and I was hoping for a little bit of goodwill. I immediately went to Belle's Tire and purchased to equivalent tires for about the same price. Their employee, Steve, was professional and helpful. I went to Tieman Tires on the suggestion of a co-worker. I called to get a quote on a few tires, and they were able to give me a good price on my tires with a rebate that was coming up. They ordered a set of tires for me and they were into the shop the next day. I called to see if they could take me, as it was toward the end of business, and they said yes. I purchased a set of Firestone tires recently, for my SUV. These tires were on sale and saved me $100 plus. I have a custom set of wheels on this vehicle and always get nervous when the tires have to changed or repaired. The wheels didn't have a mark on them and the work was done quickly. They go out of their way to help and give you FREE 6-month tire rotation and a good warranty. When I bought the tires the guys said something about a rebate. I was like, yeah, yeah and ignored it because rebates are normally more trouble than they're worth. I was pleasantly surprised when the rebate (in the form of a prepaid debit card) showed up a few weeks later. Use these guys if you can. I've been a customer at Tieman for several years. At this point I can't imagine going to anyone else in town. These folks are fast, honest, and really good at their jobs. They'd never so much as made a mistake in all the time I'd been going there, until the last set of tires, when something was wrong with one, which kept slowly losing air and needing to be pumped back up every few days. It took me a while to find the time to get back there, but when I did they fixed it immediately, no questions asked and not a single charge. They had installed it, so they fixed it for free. No one was wearing a mask. Other customers were taken in advance of me, and I had scheduled an appointment. When I finally received my vehicle (2 hours later) the vehicle smelled of cigarette smoke. I think every customer should be treated with with respect. I believe the lack of COVID precautions and lack of respect for customer satisfaction is pitiful for a local company in addition, I purchased new tires and the tire pressures varied greatly in the pressure of each tire. Wes Tieman is literally an angel on earth-- my 17 year old son had an accident and ended up with a flat tire and busted rim (or so I thought was the only damage). I had his car towed to Tieman's, where I stated what I needed and got a very fair price. I live near Indy and was headed back north when Mr. Tieman called with some concerns about other damage. He asked if I had a mechanic and I told him that I did not, yet I had been eyeballing one across the street, in case the car actually needed more than tires. Wes offered to drive the car there to get things checked out. Long story, short, I ended up with a laundry list of repairs and I was at a loss for how to pay for everything. The mechanic (shout out to Lloyd at Autochoice) happened to mention my struggle to Wes and I received a phone call from him shortly after. He worked with me on a payment plan and said that he simply wanted me to be safe, in which I needed tires and the repairs to accomplish that. I was shocked beyond belief that a person could be so kind in this day and age. The man literally brought tears to my eyes and he definitely gained a customer for life. Normally, people only post bad reviews, but I am going to write this review on every review board I can find. I am going to sing Mr. Tieman's praises to every person I meet, as you don't often find such a rare gem like him in this world anymore. In fact, I've already convinced a co-worker to bring her business to Wes, as she will be in the market for new tires soon.
