Been here twice. First time they broke off a valve stem and I needed to get a new sensor (Extra $60), second time I was online quoted $52 for an oil change and charged over $100. Also all the JL in the area had broken lifts for a tire rotation. Poor service and transparency. read more

Experience was fine other than being charged $100 for an oil change, with the only price on the board inside for an oil change being $50 which is purposefully misleading. When changing the oil myself, it took ten minutes and the oil cost $30 meaning I was charged $7 per minute, or $420 per hour in labor. read more

I was in desperate need of an oil change and coolant fluids during the winter months, and this Jiffy Lube location did not disappoint me. My vehicle literally slid into the service bay as if it was a stunt car in the Dukes of Hazzard sitcom due to the sheer volume of ice on the street. Nonetheless, the employees were readily available to assist me despite how ridiculously cold it was outside on the day of this visit. At other competitor locations (I won't name them), you would think that Jiffy Lube would sort of dog it by giving you minimal effort in taking care of your vehicle, right? Not these guys. The personnel really went out of their way to ensure that my vehicle had a complete full service- battery level check, higher grade synthetic oil, fluid level and tire pressure check, etc. The battery test alone was significantly important, given that it was close to -29 degrees outside at the time during the early winter months of 2020. After my services were completed, the final bill was close to $90, even after a discount due to being an Army veteran. The manager (I think that his name was John) explained each service in great detail, giving me the confidence to continue on the road in harsh winter conditions. Upon departure, I noticed a distinct difference in greater engine performance. Overall, I really like this Jiffy Lube store. The employees + manager paid strict attention to detail in what my car required. My only question is that of why can't other Jiffy Lubes and its competitors be like this one? read more

The worst oil change service ever. Unclear with price. They charged me a $97 for oil change. The sign shows oil change starts from $45, mechanic said that synthetic oil twice higher, which is not true. Didn't put a mark sticker on the window. After asking how will I get to know when do I need to change an oil again. He pasted a handwritten sticker on the window without inscriptions what type of oil was changed, etc., which is usually printed on the sticker I was chocked ! Not a good place for females. I have been here many times with mine, my wife's and my kids vehicles without an issue so thought sending my daughter there for an oil change would be fine. However they upsold her on a few different things until she called me to get me out of a meeting at work and I told her to tell them "no just an oil change please". I am used to it and tell them no each time but for a young person they don't know better. They still did a few things besides the oil change and charged her and then when they told her it was ready to go she went out to the garage where they whispered a few things to each other right in front of her and then closed the hood. Not sure if they were trying to hide something or if they were just creepy guys and she was an attractive young lady. Either way my family and our 5 vehicles that had been using this place will now go somewhere else. read more

Alex R. On November 25, 2022, I recently had an oil change on my 2014 Camry at the local Jiffy Lube in Wahpeton, ND. This is not the first time the Camry has been serviced by Jiffy Lube Technicians over last 5 years. I've had it serviced there many times before, in fact they serviced many of my vehicles over the years. But this WILL BE the last time they service any of my vehicle's period! The ticking time bomb oil change they did on my Carmy they did this last time proved to me they are not trained. I'm surprised they ask me if I wanted fries and a coke with that oil change. The persons they had service the Camry this time broke the oil filter cap which houses the oil filter. Oh, they told me about it. They told me the manager even went to Fergus Falls to get a new one because no one in town had one. They even had righten a statement on invoice about it. What they failed to inform me is they broke the oil filter drain plug and O-ring seal when they put the oil filter cap and filter back on. You can see that used the oil filter plug to put the filter cap back on. The oil filter cap needs to be torque to 18 ft. lbs. and the plug to 8 ft. lbs. The only thing I see is they used a 3/8 drive rachet on the plug to put the filter cap back on. The filter drain plug is made of cast aluminum. The must of had pieces of it braking off in their hands as they were turning in. I know they didn't have the filter cap in town, and I don't think they had the drain plug either. And I check with the Toyota dealership in Fergus the didn't purchase any drain plugs. The way it was there was no way it wasn't leaking they had to of seen it. I don't think they wanted to send the manager to Fergus Falls again to get one. So, when I came in to pick up the vehicle, they told me everything test good "which I feel was an out and out lie". I drove the Camry about 5 blocks to home where it sat for 4 weeks before needed it. I only use this vehicle for long trips. I was planning a 350-mile trip during the New Year's Holiday. It was only by the grace of God I made it to my destination and that the Camry oil pressure sensor did shut the vehicle down out on the Highway. Therre was sub-zero temperatures that day. I could have frozen to death. This hinges on almost a criminal act to knowingly do this to someone's vehicle in the wintertime. The reason I know this is when I returned home, I seen were oil had leaked out on the garage floor. I hadn't driven 5 blocks from Jiffy Lube, and I was already leaking oil from there oil change. If it Hadden been dark out when I left, I would have saw it. I've got a picture of it Mr. Jiffy Lube. is When I did get to my destination the Camry's oil pressure sensor did shut the engine off protecting it from any serious damage. I checked the dip stick and found the oil didn't even show a little bit. I immediately got 4 qtrs. of oil into the engine, it holds 4.6 qtrs. and got it up to the local Toyota service center in town. At the Toyota Center the true Technicians immediately on getting it told me that Jiffy Lube Technicians broke the oil filter drain plug and I was leaking oil out of it. I told them to replace the whole filter cap and broken drain plug and replace it with all new parts and give a description on what found. Mr. Jiffy Lube I have the broken parts in tacked just the way your technicians left it and the names and phone numbers of the Toyota Service Center manager and lane advisor if you need proof your guys don't how to change oil on a Toyota Camry properly. On contacting Jiffy Lube manage in Wahpeton all he could do is tout your worthless self-serving Maintenace Warrant which only for protecting Jiffy Lube's ass and not the costume's vehicle. Apparently, I was supposed to bring it back 350-mile untouched to Jiffy Lube in Wahpeton and let them analyze what they screwed up. They don't have anybody there in my opinion qualified to change oil yet a lone qualified analyze the damage they created. In other words, if someone kills your horse you don't take it back to the people who did the killing so they can cover it up. I did show the manager the broken oil filter drain plug, in which he immediately had this oh shit on his face and refused to talk to me. Inclusion: I did take my Camry to a qualified mechanic I trusted in town, and he felt I was very lucky to have dogged the bullet this time and if I continue to like to play Russian roulette with my $20,000-dollar vehicles just keep going to Jiffy Lubes. read more

Was about to leave on a trip and realized I need an oil change. Called Jiffy Lube and was greeted by a friendly voice who informed me they would be able to help me that day! They have a great location, I work downtown and was able to drop off my car and walk to work. The service was wonderful, very helpful and fast. read more

The location of this store was convenient for me so I decided to give their services a try. I had an $8 off coupon I found on retail me not and it was, in the end applied to my service. The man who came in to tell me what they had gathered from the inspection of my car was nice, but he seemed irritated that I wouldn't get upgrade to getting extra services done. After he walked out, I heard them discussing how he suggested these services to me, but I didn't want them. It wasn't that I didn't want them; my dad and uncle work on cars so I could have had them do those things for me, I just wanted an oil change. Anyways, the next man who came in to help me seemed like he was just having a bad day or something because he was very rude to me and as I walked out, thanked him and told him to have a good day, he said nothing. I figured he would have thanked me for coming in, but he didn't. Unfortunately, I am not going back to this location because of the negative attitudes I experienced while just being there for about 20 minutes. As someone who works downtown, I appreciated the convenience of this location, when I wasn't able to get in at my regular shop. Each time I've visited this particular Jiffy Lube I've been disappointed to say the least. Years ago, I was scolded to the point of tears for brushing snow off my car in the parking lot before pulling into the garage- apparently it had just been plowed and brushing the snow off wasn't, as I assumed it was, helpful to the mechanics in any way- how 'stupid' of me. Last week my spouse brought the car in for an oil change and inspection before we left for vacation. The mechanic recommended an air filter replacement, which we agreed to. After the car was serviced, and parked at my office for an hour or so, it didn't start. Puzzled, I consulted my resident gear head, and did some looking under the hood. The air filter was askew, and was not snapped into security. I ran the fan and it started after 15 minutes or so. Days later, on our vacation the car wouldn't start again. It's August, I attributed the problem to heat and humidity- ran the fan for 15 and it started again. It wasn't until the third round of non starting, that I discovered my vehicle was very low (empty) on coolant. I called the shop to ask what type of servicing was included in my visit (fluid check?) and I was 'disconnected'. My spouse spoke to someone who was adamant they they wouldn't assume responsibility for the problems, but would top off the fluids "again". Two stars because: hey! They did change the oil! read more
