Made an appointment to have my vehicle worked on in the morning. Midafternoon they had not even looked at it. The person working the front desk was rude and condescending. She had been lying to me about the progress on my vehicle the entire time. I doubt they were even going to work on it that day. I just paid my bill for absolutely nothing and left. Spent 4 hours waiting on my car asked for an oil change and tire rotation. Once my car was finally done they told me they didn't have time to do my tire rotation even though I told him specifically I wanted BOTH done not just one or else I would have gone elsewhere. read more

After spending months back and forth with 2 different mechanic shops, I chose to try another business. I walked in, Mike was super nice, thorough, explained everything! We made like a business plan with the work on my vehicle. I am amazed by the difference in shops. I am not just a customer or money to them. The guys are genuine, sincere and caring. The job was completed in a timely fashion and they catered to my need of having a vehicle for a long trip asap. The mechanic was very nice and polite and well mannered. I have been taking my vehicles here for about 3 years now and have been very pleased with the work done on my vehicles and the outstanding customer service. I took issue once with their shop fees which is a standard % of the total bill. I sent a note in about that and frankly stated I was going to take my business elsewhere. I recieved a call the next day from MIke asking what he could do to keep my business. I advised that he needed a better shop fee policy and he agreed to change the priciing so long as it made sense. He would be less likely to budge on things like engine overhauls/replacements, but more willing on things like starters and alternators as those replacements don't tend to use a lot of shop supplies. That willingness to compromise has kept me going back over and over again over the years and I highly recommend Midas to anyone! read more

I have been taking my car here for years. They tell you their prices up front before they do anything and are willing to work with you so you can get your car fixed while you go to work. I had one part break less than a year after they installed it, and they replaced it for free, and I paid for labor. That was fine for me since the part was the more expensive aspect. Mike, the manager, is a really nice guy who will explain stuff without making you feel dumb if you're like me and don't know anything about cars except maybe how to drive them. Mike is the main reason that this review gets 5 stars, and I'd give more stars if I could. He even gave me car advice after I moved out of state. I appreciate his knowledge and wonderful attitude, and will definitely take my car back here if I move back. read more

I was having issues with my front end making a really bad grinding sound when I was turning or breaking and I brought it in here and was told when I called to make the appointment (which I called and set up for Saturday morning 8am and when I showed up someone had crossed me out and moved me to Friday at 1230 pm which is when I'm at work so I wouldn't leave my van there unless I knew exactly what was wrong with my vehicle and knew when I would for sure know id be able to get it b4 work was over) that the brake inspection was free (which it wasn't and I was charged for it) was told my breaks and everything was fine. needed my oil changed so they did that while they had it in back being looked at and someone placed the wrong drain plug on my van when I got it returned to me (which caused me to have leak half a quart in under 2 days and could have cost me a lot of money in major repairs with my oil pan because of someone no putting proper parts back on my van). when I left the shop my van sounded worse so I brought it to another local shop and was told I had frozen calipers and warped rotors and one of my sway bar end links was loose also had a leak in my oil sending unit (really hard to miss that since its right by my oil filter). when I called to talk to the manager (mike) I got belittled and told they checked for the sound and nothing was found even though when they took it for the test drive and pulled in I heard my vehicle making the same sound I had been hearing and was still told nothing was wrong and I didn't know what I was talking about even though I personally have mechanical experience just don't have time to do the repairs and was belittled just because I am a female which is very wrong and unprofessional!!! I would never bring my car here considering I was told my van was fine and nothing was wrong with it was okay and safe to drive (which I'm sorry no its wasn't and I have an infant which just makes me that much more irate since my sons well being was put in jeopardy) but I had to spend a total of $1260 in repairs in under a week to fix what was given the GRAND OLD MIDAS TOUCH APPROVAL of nothing wrong and safe to drive!!! IF YOU ARE FEMALE DON'T BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!!! If I could I would give this a negative star review just because I'm a female don't underestimate the fact I know stuff about my own vehicle considering I can tell you everything about my engine and my car model but you refused to listen to me even when I brought it in and I told you my engine size you felt the need to double check because you thought I was wrong! I could write more with how mad I am but I will leave it at that! read more
