Came to this location with my company vehicle. I'm amazed how they always pull the cabin air filter and engine air filter. The surprising part is even if my engine air filter needs replacing, they never carry it. Put it in the notes and either stock it or don't pull it next time. They provide tire rotation, but always make excuses why they can't do it or tell me the treads are wearing evenly. They are wearing evenly BECAUSE THEY GET ROTATED! I have no words. Yes, my oil change was a jiffy today. It could perhaps have been a little bit faster with the technician completing the report when he was done (my car was sitting outside for 4 minutes before it was in the computer), but it was still less than 20 minutes from the time I stepped out of my car to the time I got back into it including payment. Quick, quick, quick. There's a small waiting area with daytime television tuned in, but you're really not spending a whole lot of time there. I drove a little over 2,500 miles relocating and needed an oil change as soon as I got to NC. I usually go to Valvoline back home, but this location seemed to have pretty good reviews. The person who assisted me was pretty helpful, and explained everything. I used a Groupon my first time. It was quick and efficient. Went in for an oil change. They didn't screw the filter in properly and I didn't realize until I was half-way to Charlotte on a Sunday (the day following my oil change). Problem with it being a Sunday was no one was open to look at my car and I was in the middle of nowhere. I bought $30 worth of oil to get me to charlotte at least. Ended up going to an autozone and a man there offered to help me. He found the issue and told me to take a picture (attached). Additionally, this man made me very uncomfortable and was making lewd comments to me the whole time. But he was my only option. I had to buy more oil, a new filter, and pay him ($65 more down the drain). Anyways, I had to move into a new place and immediately went home for the holidays and immediately came back to work. That being said I wasn't able to call until yesterday (date of service on Nov 20). Dude just told me to call tomorrow when the manager would be there. No apology, nothing to offer in the meantime, no offer to remedy the situation. So I call this morning, they say I will have to come in and fill out paperwork, which isn't ideal since I've moved and this is very out of my way. But it's not coming in to fill out the paperwork that bothers me it s the fact that I still received no apology despite them immensely messing up and the fact that no one offered to correct the situation. They put me and my car at risk and I am writing so that others know to find somewhere else to change your oil. Please vet the people who change your oil this, could've been devastating for my car . Spent $99 on an oil change they did incorrectly spent an additional $95 just to get me back to the Raleigh area. I will have to have this issue looked at again so there is no telling what the final price I will pay for this. Obviously I won't be going to any Jiffy lube, but choosing them for an oil change has me $300 in the hole. read more

Those guys ran into sooooooooo many issues (one after the next) due to no fault of their own. I then was asked if I would like to wait inside or outside the building. I went inside of course and then was asked to take a short review. It was nothing serious just an over view of there services and a few questions about the vehicle. By the time I finished the review my car was ready to go. I got a great price and it took less that 30 minutes. It could have taken longer because they had coffee, TV, and great cell service (they may have had WiF; didn't check). Didn't put my oil cap back on, and I got oil all over my hood and lost over 1/2 my oil. They did refill it.. But didn't clean up the mess

Today I went into this location to use a groupon I had purchased for an oil change, tire rotation, and rain-x treatment. While the technicians were working on my car one of them did not place the oil filter back on and started the vehicle. As a result oil was spewed all over my engine. When I seen this I was furious! One of the technicians was being incredibly difficult and had a terrible attitude when I stated I wanted the oil cleaned up. After that the manager came up to me and stated that the technician was fairly new. He also stated that since I was using a groupon that there was nothing that they could do. It was completely unproffessional! If you make a mistake you fix it! Eventually I left without having all of the mess cleaned up but the groupon was fulfilled. Needless to say I will not be going back to this location. read more

Don't go here. I brought my car in for a state inspection and was told I needed $500+ to get my car to pass including new wiper blades which I was told were torn. I took the car home and didn't find any of the problems they told me I had. I was especially surprised to find my wipers had no tears. It was such an easy thing for me to check behind with that either the mechanic was totally oblivious or was dishonestly trying to rack up a huge repair bill. Feeling suspicious, I took my car to another shop which passed me with no problems. So this is the $30 life lesson I pass on to you good reader. Take your vehicle elsewhere. read more

Super nice staff! Visit was fast and easy. They definitely put the "Jiffy" in Jiffy Lube. I was out of town when I stop by, and they saw me last minute, which I really appreciate. I wish they had cheaper prices for oil changes, but there is a lot of value packed into their price. The reason it's a 4 and not a five was because I saw them try to close my hood while the hood prop was still in. The hood prop broke and one of the workers quickly put picked it up and put it in its resting slot. When they came back inside to talk to me and to take payment, I asked if everything looked good. They said yes, and didn't address the accident. It doesn't bother me too much, because it's a simple fix, and I know I probably would make the same mistake a lot if I worked in that position. I do wish that they would have addressed it though as a professional courtesy. Other than that small error, they didn't excellent job! I would recommend people to go back there! read more

I've gotten my oil changed at this specific location ever since I moved to Raleigh. It's a little expensive to get the super ultra synthetic for my Jetta but the staff is always great. They always get me right in and out quickly and always apply some discount for me to help me out with the cost, without me even having to ask. Went there today and asked if they could check my tire pressure and fluids since I'm going on a trip. They gave me a quart of oil and filled my tires for no charge since I'm a customer! The woman that helped me was really sweet, in fact all the staff have always been really nice to me. The manager even made it right when one of his guys accidentally drove my wheel over the side of the metal lift which threw my car out of alignment (I had literally just come directly from getting new tires & getting an alignment so there was no question). But I appreciated the manager giving me a free oil change in return, which is actually worth more than an alignment costs. If you're looking for a place that you can trust, I recommend this jiffy lube location. read more

Jiffy Lube overfilled our oil by 2-3 quarts causing our engine to seize up. They are now saying that sludge and an internal leak cause the engine to seize up. ( how they know this , I do not know since the adjuster basically just opened the hood and look at the engine). The car was running great before the oil change. We noticed tapping or knocking sound immediately after leaving the shop. About 20 miles later the oil light comes on and the engine starts running really rough. We pulled into the nearest auto shop who confirmed the engine was overfilled. They drained the oil and did a complete oil change. The light went off but the tapping noise continued and the engine seized a few miles later and now the car is inoperable. Don't ever go to Jiffy lube! Stay far far away. They do not stand by their work. read more

I'll start by saying i have frequented this locations numerous times without a problem. Service is fast and usually friendly. I went in today{6/9/13) to get my oil changed.and they were able to start the service immediately. Everything was good until they finished. When they pulled the car out, i watched as one employee was getting out the car. He noticed the seat had been damaged, called over another employe and showed him.. They chatted for a second, then closed the door and walked away. They did not attempt to bring this to our attention. I went to check it out and there was oil and grease covering the driver seat. I went back in and alerted the employee who processed the payment, who i assumed was the manager. Then they started to spray it with degreaser and rub it in with an oil covered rag. Making it much worse. I told them this was a problem. The manager then said "I'm sorry we didnt clean it to your high standards". Then i knew he veiwed me as a hassle, rather then a costumer who seat they had ruined. He took me back in to file a complaint. When i told him i understand it was an accident, but the problem was they had no intention of cleaning or even alerting us, he said he was no longer talking to me bc i had cut him off. Now i have just paid $65 to have them ruin my seats. Accidents happen but trying to cover it up is not an accident, it is malicious. He said nothing he could do. Not one time did he offer a discount or refund. Seats are much more expensive then an oil change. I left very unsatisfied and now have to take time out of my week to deal with costumer service, drive somewhere for them to shampoo and fix the mistake on my dime. I will be demanding a refund. I will have the situation resolved in my favor, the only thing is how much time and money will it cost. Would never go back to this location again. read more
