Third time here for my truck and the 2017 Acura. These folks are the real deal when it comes to customer service and helping to keep our vehicles running like new ones. They bend over backwards to assist with problems that they could just as easy overlook. If it's not needed, they tell you up front. Nick and Daniel here were verbally abusive, dishonest, completely disrespectful of my time and after taking almost $500 of my money simply told me not to come back and threaten to call the police if I didn't leave even though they were the reason I was still standing there in their store after hours. They kept me waiting because they didn't get a part and failed to communicate w me twice in a day that there would be delays, causing me to come early to pick up my car even though it was still after their hours. Apparently they think their time is so much more important than mine. There was no apology offered out right instead they just told me to leave after they swiped my card. Most disrespectful people. I will be very glad to be spending my hard-earned money somewhere where you get treated with respect. read more

The service is very fast, and they go above and beyond to quickly get parts and make stand by their work. Please avoid the business. I took my car to them to have a minor tune up. They told me no problem. Then they offered several service packages that I should have performed. They made it sound great. Increased my bill several Hundred dollars. Later I found out those service packages are just snake oil. My car left me stranded the next day. I called them for help. They ignored my request and didn't honor their work. I had to have my car towed to another repair shop that charged me another $500 to fix the issues Meineke caused. Avoid this business at all costs. You are better off calling Uber to get you where you need to go. read more

Have 4 cars ranging from a 2007 Highlander to G37 to a 2019 Kia- these guys do it all. After years of going to Lexus, Infinity, and Acura dealerships and getting fleeced by their BS manufactures recommended maintenance schedule- these guys are best I've ever seen. First- it's a family business and they treat you like family. They remember your name- you deal with the same people- their quality and thoroughness in fixing and preventative maintenance will give you peace of mind. They advocate for making sure your car runs as it should- and make repairs that are sensible to its age and condition (No putting a big $ fix for a 20 year old car). These are just the kind of people I would aspire to be if I was smart enough to know to to fix cars. I get sick of mechanics that talk town to you- especially women. Sent my daughter to see them when her Kia transmission was acting funny. The culprit? A needed software update which they performed. She came home smarter about her car- confident in the fix, and told me "I see why you like those guys- they are totally cool". If you live in Wake Forest- forget the dealerships give 'em a try for a routine oil change or fixing a problem. You wI'll be in good hands. read more

I have taken 4 cars to this location over the last year. They helped me prep a 2012 Kia Optima for sale (tired, oil change, tuneup) and were very up front with me about what the car needed. They have also done oil changes, an alignment, 4 tires, a new exhaust and suspension work on my 2006 Tahoe that I drive back and forth to California several times a year. Josh made great recommendations on a mean sounding exhaust, saved me cash on a very affordable set of 20" tires and has always completed any work in less than 24 hours. After finding a beater 2001 Wrangler on Craigslist I immediately took it to these guys who went over it in detail to ensure it was safe for me to drive. They assured me all the fluids looked good, that my tires and engine were fine, and replaced several missing bolts in the suspension and lift to keep my new ride safe. After all this i felt confident enough to take them my baby, my 1965 Mustang GT. Duane in particular is a hotrod man, and talked to me about his own Mustang drag car. They are helping me tune and break in my new motor, which currently has 3000 miles on it. I used to perform most of my car maintenance myself, but with two small children time is short and these guys have made my life easier. Josh always calls to update me while repairs are occurring, lets me know when a screw is missing, or a gasket or bracket it needed, and the techs take the time to SHOW me what they are doing/done so i am confident that all repairs were needed and completed. Anyone can change your oil, but these cans can truly maintain your car bumper to bumper. I plan to continue bringing my cars here as long as i live in Wake Forest. read more

Store #2222 in Wake Forest, NC treated my father-in-law very poorly. He is 80 and on a fixed income. They replaced his catalytic converter for around $1400 and after less then 4000 miles the converter is bad again. They are unwilling to work with him on what appears to be a faulty product. Beware of this store. read more

I called to get a quote before heading over for my brakes and they were very helpful and informative. Super personable and friendly customer service from the moment I walked in the door. I feel like they were honest with me and it turns out I didn't need the service on my brakes that the dealership mentioned to me. Well after reading several good reviews for these guys I am disappointed to report that they could not figure out how to do an alignment on my Dodge Ram 1500 from 2014. I even emailed them instructions per my time to google it. They declined to do my repair and did not offer me anything for my wasted time to drop off and pickup the truck and recommended I had the alignment done at the dealership which is where I think the problem started to begin with. read more

I was hesitant to come here after looking at the reviews and I'm glad that I only listened to the good ones. I was having problems with my car shaking and called the garage. I spoke with Jay and was able to get in quickly to be seen. Jay and the technicians that looked at my car were all incredibly helpful. They took time to figure out what was wrong with my car and to explain to me what had happened while also showing me what was wrong on my car. Jay then gave me a quote and told me he could get the part needed same day and have it fixed that afternoon. I ended up coming back the next day as I already had my day scheduled out. I dropped my car off and was called when it was fixed (which was very close to the time they estimated). My car now runs better than it has in a very long time and I am very pleased with the service I received. I was worried they were going to try to convince me to do work that wasn't needed on my car and instead they were very honest. Prices are very reasonable too! Meineke at Gateway Commons in Wake Forest exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be using them from now on! I highly recommend Jay and the technicians there! We show up for brakes (which 2 other places told us we needed) & the guys there checked them out and told us we had plenty of brake pads left....come back in 20-30,000 miles! I am only giving this place of business one star because I have to. I called to schedule an appointment to have a tie rod end replaced in my jeep. Got an appointment for the following morning and was told to drop it off at 7:30 am. Dropped it off and went about my day running errands with my mom. I recently moved to Charlotte so I am here on limited time. After we ran our errands we stopped back by the shop to see what progress had been made. By this time it was 2pm. My jeep was still in the same spot as I parked it that morning. Went inside and talked to the manager who informed me he had mechanics who called out sick. Not my problem. Should've told me that when I dropped it off and I would've gone somewhere else. Didn't offer any kind of apology or compensation for my wasted time. I got my keys and will NOT be back.
