I have been consistently going to this garage for my car inspections and oil changes. Probably beena total of 10 times I've been there over the last 4 years and I have no complaints. They are usually prompt with their work and offer nice customer service each time we go. I believe they are reasonably priced at around ~$100 per service and offer great coupons online too. 03/07/2026- They broke the interior of my car and then gas lit and lied to me. Including John the manager. They broke the trim piece to install the cabin air filter. Stripped the screw so I can't fix it and now deny they did it. Spoke with John the manager. He denied it and said it was fine when he worked on it personally. I called to get it rectified John stated, what I can see with my own eyes isn't true. Now they won't take my return call. I've gone here for oil changes in the past never again. Buyer beware. I can't say much about this place other than they were quick to talk to me and honest about the length of my potential wait (to get the PA inspections) because of being short staffed. I went elsewhere to get my inspections done, but would consider this JL for future work within their sphere because they didn't try to capture another customer by sugar coating anything. My sons Enclave need an oil change. So he took it in 2 weeks ago. It was a slow day, and he sat waiting for quite a while watching other customers come and go.... finally his vehicle was done, he paid and left. He has been having engine trouble ever since. So he looks under the car and notices oil leaking, he pops the hood, to check the oil, and it was black... Like they never changed it... My son takes very good care of this vehicle. But now he can't drive it, because the engine keeps wanting to shut off.. The oil change took one & a half hours??? Really. What the hell did the service techs do to his car? I had to get an oil change and my mileage was overdue, my mechanic was sick so I stopped in at the local Jiffy Lube. It was a very quiet day at this location, and the second I pulled up a representative was out in the parking lot. They had me pull up to the front doors, pop the hood, get out of my car and go inside. They're waiting area is actually surprisingly decent, with large comfy chairs and coffee available. The service didn't take long, and while they did try to sell me a number of upgraded services, the tall black guy with dreadlocks at the front desk was really charming and professional. I will say that the one somewhat sketchy thing is that they told me my coolant was low, and there was a $4 charge for them to top it up for me. They couldn't clearly tell me how low it was, just that it was probably a half quart lower than it should be. I said go ahead and take care of it. When the next two customers also had the same treatment though, it seems that perhaps this is just a little way to pad the bill. Not really pleased with that. Wow! Where do I start? I now feel that this entire place is a SCAM. I came in to get a simple oil change. I come out with a major leak coming from the oil pan. They tell me that it was caused before I got there, probably from where I got my oil changed last time... hmm, so why was it not leaking before I came here? Manager JOSE ROSA couldn't give me a straight answer on that. Oh, but they say they will be happy to fix it for me there (Charging more than DOUBLE for each part than it actually costs at the store). He tells me on the phone that it will be $250 for the oil pan and gasket, $105 for the labor, and $36 for another oil change. Sorry sir, I just had the oil change done yesterday, which is GUARANTEED, so I shouldn't have to pay for another one! Out of the 'grace of his heart' he decides to let his strong hold go on this one and lets me go on the price of the oil change. Thanks. I also ask if I can buy the parts myself and just pay for the labor of $105. He says, "yes." Ok, so I buy the oil pan for 69.99 and the gasket for 9.49 at Auto Zone. That's a lot different than the total of $250 they quoted me at Jiffy Lube... Ok, they're done working on this very difficult job (sarcasm) and it's time for me to pick up the car, ready to pay my $105, maybe a little more with tax. I arrive and they tell me the total is $222. WHAT!? Should I have recorded you over the phone? Is that what needs to be done for them to keep their word!? I was told it would cost $105 but now they tell me it is 105 an hour and it took them 2 HOURS. HILARIOUS! This is no more than a 30 minute job, but regardless I was told 105, not 105 am HOUR! But, what can I do at this point besides pay the money. They are not going to give me back my keys until I pay what they say.... So, the only thing I am able to do is NEVER GO BACK and WRITE THIS REVIEW to WARN everyone else to BEWARE and tell you that you're best to take your business elsewhere. P.S. I've never had a bad experience here, but today was pretty great. I went in for an inspection, and was unaware my registration was expired. A mechanic told me that I could renew my registration online, and kept helping me/making sure I was doing it correctly. I felt embarrassed that I wasn't completely prepared, but was so relieved I had help and they had patience. They could have sent me home to renew, but instead I was able to do it in the waiting area, and I think that was really kind. read more

I've always had great service here! I went in today to have them check something they did on sat! They were very nice again! After I left I realized that one the technicians that was in my car stole something out of the console that I put in 5 minutes before I got there! About a month later I received a check for my "out of pocket" expenses, as well as the cost of the original work done. So... they compensated me for their mis-doings and hopefully will be more mindful of their work in the future, as I never had any problems with that store previously. read more

I don't understand why I can get a great service with synthetic oil at Monroe in Pottsville for $45 and for the exact same services pay closer to $90 at Jiffy Lube. Went in for an oil change. Before they even changed my oil, they told me I should replace my brakes and rotors immediately, costing almost $600 to do so, or they would fail within the week. My car had just passed inspection the month prior with no mention of the brakes, so I took my car elsewhere to have the brakes checked. Not sure how to express my disappointment. Jiffy lube has always been my destination for both my cars (oil changes, regular servicing etc.) but this time my trust was broken. Went on for the yearly inspection last week and the guy who did the safety inspection told my rear rotor was rusty and needs to get changed before he lets me pass the test. I was very surprised to hear that as my car has always been in excellent condition. however ,since it was a safety issue and my 2 year old often rides this vehicle, I agreed to change them and go forward with the $300 fix. But few minutes later he called me outside and told me he can do it cheaper($200). I said fair enough and left my number with him. I was doubtful about how things unfolded and did my research on the rusty rotor. I took the car for a second opinion to "MONRO brake services" and after testing they confirmed my car is perfectly fine and there is nothing abnormal with a rusty rotor. If I keep driving it for a while then it should peel off. I was kind of heartbroken to see these guys were willingly failing the vehicles on safety inspections just to make few bucks? I work for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and will be communicating the inspections department soon to report this station and the inspector about their shady business. Will update this post once I hear back from the appropriate personnel. Meanwhile, don't take your vehicle for an inspection or emission test because they will find a reason to fail your vehicle. read more

Always trying to sell you things you don't need or ask for. Double the price for wiper blades, oil is almost triple the $. Went in with working cigarette lighter - came out with it not working! Do yourself a favor and video all conditions of car prior to going into any of these places, check after them. Also invest $15- 20 in an OBD scanner of your own, many things will not register on dashboard until after car has left shop and been driven a few miles. Even their customer service HQ is poor in response and resolution. FYI, download a copy of pennDOT requirements for inspections and check off items prior to taking car to any garage. They have claimed to fix/replace things when the have not done so. Especially License plate light. read more

Horrible experience! I took my car there for inspection a month ago. It needed front ball joints, so They were ordered and I had an appointment the next day. I waited 3 hours before they even took my car in. Today I blew a tire (which was fine to pass inspection a short month ago). I took the car to another place and had to have all of my tires replaced. Apparently Jiffy Lube should have done an alignment or recommended on after replacing the ball joints. I will never go there again! read more

I went to have my car inspected and they said I needed new windshield wipers. The person doing the inspection put the wipers on my car without asking me if I wanted them replaced and charged me almost $50 in additional fees for this added to my inspection fee. I had them put my old wipers back on (which worked fine) and they failed my car. I took it back two days later and with the exact same wipers on that "failed" and it passed inspection without question. I had to pay a $5.30 reinspection sticker charge. Such a joke. This place is clearly looking to take advantage of customers even if it means preforming services that are not needed and overcharging. read more

These people never change the oil... the first time I change the oil to my car with monro mufflers showed up right away 100% oil life. They didn't took they time at all, also they didn't add the windshield fluid and the it said on the receipt that they add it. They check the air filter and air cabin and showed to me how dirty they were as well they left they damn ass finger print .Thank lord I don't wait until the last minute or until the light is on to change the oil... when I took the car it has 30% and it drop to 20% . Wanted an oil change and tire rotation. There were 4 to 5 attempts to sell many other things that I did not request, but I understand the suggestive selling concept. I was a little bit taken back at the quality of oil offered. The basic (19.99), and even the mid grade oil changes (39.99), were not a recognizable brand of oil, honestly, what one would expect to find at a place like Jiffy Lube (maybe Valvoline, Quaker State, Casterol, Pennsoil, etc.). The only namebrand option was a $99 mobile one, which is absolutely ridiculous as you could buy this oil in the store for $24 easily. As I was checking out the gentleman informed me that they could not do the tire rotation because the lift in that bay wasn't working. If it were me I might have offered to move it to another bay and finish the job and set the expectation with a customer that it might be an additional 10 or 15 minutes. That being said they did finish in 15 minutes so the service was very quick. I don't believe I'll return, if for no other reason than I don't have confidence that a no-name brand oil was smart to put in a 30k truck. read more

Excellent service! I went to other places and told me if I had my own parts they would not service me. Jiffy lube was great and even gave me a discount for having my own parts very fast service! Went in for only an oil changed and they went above and beyond. They vacuumed, cleaned my windows, topped of any other fluids, checked all my filters and way more I will be going here for now on! read more

My daughter took my new 2016 Rogue (with less than 5K miles on it) to JL for an oil change. The owners manual said any oil is okay, as long as it's the recommended weight. CSR Michael J told her synthetic is recommended. Since she was unable to reach me, she agreed to it. When she finally got through to me, I was told it was $100. I called the JL manager (Chris) and asked him why are you recommending synthetic when the owners manual says it doesn't matter? (He really didn't have a valid response). I also informed him that a local Nissan dealer charges (at most) $70.00 for synthetic. Chris said it's more expensive because it's Mobil 1. I checked Mobil 1 synthetic oil prices on the internet for the specific weight they were using and I found the most expensive price was $35 for 5 quarts (my car holds approximately 4.5 qts). So...what do you think the chances of my EVER returning to JL are? If I could have, I would have given them 0 stars. read more
