I take my older car here because it's not a big deal. I always use a coupon from their website (usually $10) for my oil change. They are pretty fast. Now, are they efficient? They are, mostly. They always try and sell you on something. I worked at an oil change before. I know they "have" to and make commission. But please save your money and buy your air filter from Amazon. All you'll need is a Phillips screwdriver and 5 minutes of your time. You will save yourself 10-20 dollars instead of letting them sell you one. And I have to be honest, they usually try and sell me things before they are needed. Since my one car is older, I'm going to buy it when it's needed. The employees are nice and fast. Maybe a little rugged for some but that's with any car shop. Come here if you want it done fast and for about 40.00 with coupon. (Higher since inflation came up recently.) read more

I recently moved to Pennsylvania, and I was made aware while updating my driver's license, title, and registration, that Pennsylvania requires an annual emissions and state inspection for all vehicles. This differs quite a bit from the one-time auto inspection and biennial emissions test that I am used to in Maryland. After spending the better part of Friday, updating my driver's license, title, and registration, I figured I might as well knock out the state inspection and just be finished with this. I called Jiffy Lube and they kindly informed that while they do accept walk-in appointments for the state inspection, the do not accept state inspection appointments after 4pm. I settled on going in first thing Saturday morning. I left my house at 7:45amish so I would arrive a few minutes before opening. I arrived about a minute after they opened and ended up being the fifth car in the line. They told me that there would be a two-hour wait. I ended up waiting in my car for over two hours, and then waited another hour as my car was serviced. The technician completing the inspection was kind enough to let me know that while I had removed the MD tag in the rear of my vehicle, I had forgotten to remove the MD tag in the front of my vehicle. He removed it for me and I passed the auto and emissions inspection. I paid a little over $90 for the auto inspection, emissions test, and stickers. While I was not happy with the long wait times, or the information that this type of inspection needs to be completed annually, I was fairly pleased with the customer service and would very likely return for similar services in the future. Yeah, I know people love to hate on Jiffy Lube but this location on Carlisle Pike seems to be a particularly well-run franchise. I stopped in after work a few days ago for an oil change and tire rotation. The oil change was straightforward, and I was asked about replacing my air filter with basically none of the "hard sell" I've encountered at other franchises. The tech essentially discouraged me from a tire rotation, explaining that my tread wear was such that I really needed to look at replacing my tires rather than a rotation. I really appreciated that sort of honesty, as well as the light touch regarding the air filter. I will definitely continue to use these folks for the basics. I never knew an oil change could be so quick! I stopped at auto zone because I thought I needed oil but they said I needed a changed and said jiffy lube would be pretty quick. I drove up and was greeted outside by a nice gentleman who explained prices and what they would do. Clean windows, vacuum, oil and filter change and top off all fluids. They did everything so fast. I thought I would be late to work but I wasn't. The staff was very friendly, especially the skinny guy with long hair. He was super nice. They also offer military discounts which I do appreciate! Asked for an oil change and decided to get air filters replaced as well. Oil change and filter changes were quick, but technician would not stop asking me for additional services. In addition, the technician (or whoever was in my car at the time) broke my glove box, which now does not sit right in its place. There was no mention of this until I drove away. This was after my car was dirtied during a routine oil change last time, with dirt and grime left on my center console. I don't ask that my car be pampered, but at least have the decency to clean up your mess and own up when you make a mistake. read more

Unbelievable... came here for car inspection they charge 79.99 ... double the price what others charge ... they suggested to change wiper blades to get the inspection passed,which make no sense as the wiper blades where working perfectly fine.... total was 139 $. My car had a slow leak in one of the tires so I decided to drop it off at Jiffy Lube the night before they opened. By the time I got to the car the next day the tire was completely flat. They wouldn't drive the car from where it was parked to the garage cuz they were worried it would ruin the rim, I figured I would call my road assistance to have the spare tire put on but the manager said they could just take the tire off in the parking lot and used a floor jack. It saved me some time. I have been going to this branch for a long time. They have always been honest with me. They fixed the tire and got in an oil change. Very satisfied customer here. read more

AMAZING customer service. My car happened to break down right next to this Jiffy Lube about 15 minutes before they closed. They got my car in right away to check it over and give me some information about what happened. Went in for a registration re-sticker (just had the windshield replaced). Was the only car there when I pulled up and sat in the waiting room for 35 minutes. After four other cars came and went with oil changes i asked if there was a problem. Was told "he put the numbers on the wrong side." You could tell by their rehearsed scripts they were pushing customer service but their workforce seems unskilled. Ate up my entire lunch break for a simple $13 task. read more

Need an emergency oil change. I looked into a few shops nearby but no one could fit me in that day. Jiffy Lube is first come first serve so I pulled in and immediately had 2-3 mechs servicing my vehicle. Paid a little bit more than I have in the past for an oil change, but they vacuumed my car, wiped the outside, and I was out of there in 15 mins! Can't beat that read more

Just came in for an oil change, and had a "tire rotation"... Right... 9.99 for that one. Interesting that my car came out with my tyre pressure on front-left at 28, my front-right at 39, and my rear ones both around 32. (they should be around 40-44)... Regardless... I'm confused how they're instructed to do a tire rotation but perhaps they should find some better management/instructors for their teenage mechanics. read more
