Progressive Insurance outsources their roadside service and the service is horrible. We called Goodyear in Joplin to see if they had 4 tires to replace the dangerous Westlake tires that exploded and if they knew any roadside/tow service that could help us. RD at Goodyear was a saint! He had the tires we needed and personally drove 40 miles to the camper, removed all 4 tires, drove back to Joplin to mount the new tires and 40 miles back to the camper to put the new tires on our camper. Best service anyone could ask for - there aren't many good customer oriented service people as good as RD! Thank you so much for your caring and compassionate service.

They quickly and accurately checked out my car for free and sighted specifically what was wrong with the vehicle. Mr. Rick Nixon gave a thorough and helpful explanation of what was wrong with my car and what exactly I would want to do or could do to fix it. He was very generous and gave me an incredible deal for my car. He was excellent in providing options and when I sent my car in to get it fixed he fixed it the day of. They were respectful and transparent the entire process and I am super appreciative. Nixon's Garage was excellent and exceptional to me and my entire family hopes to use them more in the future.

From my phone, I headed to discounttire.com and ordered a pair of inexpensive tires, setting an appointment for the day after we arrived in Joplin. I was warmly welcomed to the store when I arrived and the service advisor tried hard to find the specific tires that I ordered. Couldn't find them. Thankfully, he had alternatives in stock and he honored the original price. A few minutes later, I headed across the street for a breakfast bite while the team worked away. A text message that the car was ready and I returned. All set and the work was complete. When you include the road hazard cover, the disposal fee, the this-that-and-the-other fee and such, it's not cheap. But they were thorough, friendly and I am confident in the new tires on my daughter's SUV. At least now if she hits another curb, the tires will be replaceable at this or any other Discount Tire.
