They did an "investigation" which I was not allowed to see the video or any details about the work done. The transparency of it all was as clear as mud. The regional manager involved was disrespectful beyond anything I've experienced.. If this how they treat customers that they value, I'd hate to know how they don't like. First Oil change I got from this place a few years ago on my 2012 Toyota Camry, they tightened my oil filter housing super tight. They also do the upsell trick I overheard the supposedly manager saying to this woman oh get this filter flush etc. her car had 42, 000 miles. It was ridiculous I taught her how to change it afterwards. Don't let them work on your cars if they can't even change oil!!!! When I came back to have an oil change the guy changing my oil couldn't take it off then asked me who changed my oil... So recently my last 3 oil change story. So months ago I had my oil change it was the tall black guy and a woman, my oil was still leaking on my drive way so I brought it back and out they broke a piece of the housing. So I brought it back they fixed it and again it was leaking, AGAIN. So this weekend I change my own oil and it was leaking in 2 places. 2 places! The oil housing was also lose!!! Again Lose oil housing and leaking. They weren't busy when I got my last oil change. I called them today and spoke with the manager and offered me a free oil change. Seriously? He did admit all the people he recently fired were all making tons of mistakes! At whose pocket are these mistakes being paid by. I recently used this location for an oil change. (I have used this location for years, staffing change over is frequent and the quality of the services is directly dependent of the quality of the staff.) I was met at the bay by the customer rep and escorted inside. As I waited, the customer rep stuck her head in and said I had a tag light out and asked if I wanted it replaced? Not wanting an encounter with the local Police, I said sure. Other fluids needed top off, at an extra charge, and she cashed me out. I left the location knowing my oil had been changed, my fluids topped off and my broken tag light properly repaired. Well, wouldn't you know it, I did have That encounter with our local Police. For, You guessed it, a burned out tag light. Not 1, but 2! I asked how that could be, I had just had it repaired? I'm sure Police Officers hear that excuse all the time, but, I had my receipt for my recent oil change and tag light repair. The officer let me off and ask me to get it repaired. I was shocked the next morning when I looked at both tag light and when I pried the protective cover off, both bulbs were burned out, not put back into correct position and both caps had been broken. 1 had been repaired with a glue product, which was on the blown bulb. Either, I was charged for work not performed or they broke one and tried to glue it together, blowing the bulb they replaced? I tried to get resolution from JL management and they haven't returned my call, after a VM was left last week. Just telling my experience, yours may be better? Update/ Since this post, I've had trouble with my truck, failure to start, decreasing gas mileage and rough idling. I took it to My New shop and it didn't have much oil in the engine. They couldn't find a leak, the engine bay is clean and no oil on my parking space. Can only figure, They drained some oil but didn't fill it up. After a proper oil change, my issues were resolved. All I can say, is buyer beware. Find a good local mechanic who you can trust. They may find more issues with your vehicle, but this clip-joint can destroy your ride. read more

First, the specialty oil filter is ALWAYS a racket! Second, it took them over an hour to complete a 10-minute oil change. It was only one truck in front of mine, who also complained about the time. Then a lady comes in after us, in and out. Once done, I get in the car and the front floors are still not vacuumed. The blonde girl then argues with me about that fact that she did vacuum the floors. Ummm, no you didn't. Finally the blonde guy says "I'll vacuum the front and back for you!". I pull into my garage and the tire pressure lights come on. Did these folks do anything? Called ahead to get an estimate on how much it would be to get a headlight installed. receptionist was nice and said I would need a technician to get an estimate. I go to the store the tech with dreads (don't know his name) has a bad attitude because he's mad he has to do his job. He was super short with me and every time I asked a question he just ignored and said something like "pop the hood" and " um are you gonna turn on the lights". I could immediately tell he had an attitude but I still was nice. he starts messing around with my engine so I ask how much he thinks it would cost before he starts working, since the reason I came was for an estimate. He scoffs and goes " I don't know.. how ever long it takes me to do it". And laughs like me wanting to know how much it's gonna cost is a dumb question. So I told him nvm and left. Not impressed. First of all, 45 dollars for a standard oil change is overpriced. The girl tries to "upsell" me a cabin filter, her tactic while walking in ...holding my filter almost wadded up, showing me how dirty it is, commenting on its broken anyway..in which, she probably broke it. Said normal price is 80 dollars but would do it for half price. Then she was on a personal video phone call while checking me out.. and also using a customers car with her personal phone plugged in the customers car charger is the most unprofessional experience I've ever had at an oil change place. read more

I took my car here to get an oil change not too long ago trusting that they would take care of me. My car being a Mini Cooper it needs synthetic oil and synthetic oil cost $$$. Well after a month goes by I finally make time to take my car to a shop to check out any problems that needed to be fixed. When they were done checking out everything internally on the car the mechanic tells me that my oil filter looks like it hasn't been changed during my last oil change. I don't know if they forgot to change the oil filter or if they just didn't replace it but I'm hurt and so are my pockets. read more

Bed experience. Oil change and tire rotation took about 50 minutes. When my car was ready there were oil marks around door and wheel areas. I asked the technician to clean them which he did. When I was leaving parking lot car was making bed noises so I returned back. Technician inspected the car while driving slowly and he stated that my wheels were not tighten correctly after the rotation and they will have to tighten them again. I waited another 45 minutes before the car that just pulled into the bay was finished. I bought a service on Groupon, It was supposed includes tire rotation and check all liquids, the guys did not rotate the tires, and I told them how to do it because nobody knew how to check the transmission oil, they don't have a liquid for wipers washer. The folks at Jiffy Lube know what customer service means - how refreshing! Not only did they empty the oil and refill it with full synthetic for the woman in front of us for no extra charge - once she confirmed with her husband the more expensive oil - they didn't charge her for it. We knew we were in the right place. They've taken great care if us and we'll definitely return here as necessary unless/until we finally get moved and my husband can go back to servicing our vehicles. :-) read more
