I got an oil change at this location in August. My car gets driven maybe 100 miles a month. In January, my oil light came on. I checked and there was not enough oil in my car to register on the dip stick. There was not a puddle of oil under my car and my car does not smoke so its not burning oil. My best guess was that the drain plug or oil filter was not put on quite tight enough. I filled the car with oil and went back to Jiffy Lube and told them my suspicions. They looked my car over and said I had a bad valve cover gasket. They showed me oil on the engine to prove their point. Oddly that oil was not there when I filled it earlier..... I checked into getting a valve cover gasket. It was over $1000. So I decided to monitor the situation. I have been checking my oil weekly. It is now the middle of March and my oil level is the same. So, It is my opinion that my initial conclusion was correct. Jiffy lube made a mistake. And instead of owning up to it, they decided con me into thinking my car needed $1000 in work. I've been going to this location for about 20 years. I had problems with Elizabeth M. during my last visit but I was quickly taken over by another employee who was nice and professional. Today it was raining and there was no one having their oil changed. I pulled up and Elizabeth was the one who came out to assist me. I explained that I had a Groupon for the oil change and she asked which one, I said the basic change. She said I need to see it NOW, I said ma'am wait until I am finished with this business call... she demanded to see it again... I ended the call and got out of the car to show it to her. I asked why are you so nasty and unprofessional rushing me when I told you I would show it to give me a few more minutes. She said they have to get us In and Out it is corporate policy. I said there is No one else here but me. She said, SO in a real sarcastic tone. I asked who owned this location, Look it up she replied. I will never give this location my business again... she even refused to give me her name but I got it off of the receipt. There are too many options for oil change in my area to have to put up with rudeness and unprofessionalism. I advise anyone to stay away from this location. Oil change. Filter suggested and replaced. There's a young woman, red head, was training someone at same time so imagine both doors opening while I was behind wheel. Like whiplash keeping up. Glove compartment opened and emptied to show me a dirty filter she explained change @ 30k but I have 10k miles but true was bit dirty. Still I'd have to drive to dealer so actually appreciate it. I think she had good intentions and I was a bit rude to her but apologized. The service was good. She was very helpful. Just slow down a bit if I stay in car during oil change. It can be stressful going that fast on either side of me hood up and both doors opening fast all at same time! Few month's earlier a manager explained my twisted rubber blades on wiper weren't broken and straightened them. No charge. Saved me replacement. Honest place. Good work. Helpful. They do what they need to do but they will absolutely try to swindle you into getting unneeded services & they talk down to you like you're an idiot if you turn down their services that they try to press on you. Unfortunately this Jiffy Lube doesn't do car oil maintenance for Fiat 500. They just said is complicated and they don't carry the type of oil that specific car requires. I done my maintenance in other Jiffy Lube location and the didn't even mention any type of difficulty regarding the type of car that I have. read more

Came in for routine oil change. Once it was finished the employee instructed to drive off the platform out of the garage. There is a curb right outside the garage bay that you cannot see when coming out that is impossible not to hit. When I notified the employee she said "oh the other worker is supposed to guide you out of the garage and tell you to watch out for the curb." Now my car is damaged and they didn't offer any solution, just charged me for the services. Don't come here! Go to Pep Boys instead. There is other shady activity going on by the employees that the owners don't know about which I have evidence of but am choosing not to discuss here yet. read more

My husband recently took his truck here since his company uses them he thought he'd give them a try. So the wrong size filter was put in so the drive to Texas cost us 6,700 after our turbo went out and we had to leave it at Ford to fix, so needless to say the truck is still in Texas a month later and now we need to make another trip out there to pick it up. Such a mistake taking our truck here. If only the manager had the decency to pay for the damages in full plus gas plus the 20 hour roadtrip back and forth. Sir you do not need to be running a business especially if you don't know how to treat your paying customers. God forbid you ever get treated this way. She mentioned there was a little bit of a wait but the service was faster than expected. Very little waiting time. They completed the service in less than 20 minutes. My car was served by Henry, Wade and Lionel they provided me with an exceptional and professional service. Elizabeth suggested me to change the filter and told me that is time to change the wipers but I decided to do it on my next visit. I was overdue for an oil change and went on Groupon to find a local spot that offered a discount. I booked at a location and made an appointment for the same day. When I showed up the lift was not working, even though I was told to come in at that time. Instead, I was told I would be contacted at a later date to schedule a new appointment. Since the car was already overdue and I didn't want to wait, I requested a refund and booked another oil change at this particular Jiffy Lube. I arrived early on a Monday without an appointment and was immediately greeted by a gentleman named Jean who said he would be helping with my car. I explained that I use a wheelchair for mobility and before I could ask if I needed to leave my vehicle, was assured by Jean that I could stay in the car and he will take care of everything for me. Jean did just as he said, was beyond accommodating, super friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Im very happy with the services provided, as well as all of the other staff who assisted with my vehicle and making sure I was taken care of. I've been here before and it's been decent, but on my last visit, I experienced a level of incompetence like none other in a professionally run business from the Tech to the District Manager. July 2, 2019 I stopped by Jiffy Lube for a quick oil change for my 2019 Mini Countryman S. Braman; (where my car is leased) it has free maintenance service but I didn't have time to go there and wait, and since my office is just a couple blocks away, I thought, perfect, I'll just drop it off and pick it up later. The Tech brought my car in and the work begun. 15 mins later, they told me they didn't have my oil filter in stock, but I could buy one and bring it back and get a credit for $4.95; (rip off) I told them next time and left. (See Photo) July 8, 2019 My GF drove the car to Hollywood for work; she calls me panicking and says the car's smoking out from the hood. I said, I have no idea but to call Braman and have them pick the car up. She does so and needs to Uber home, from Hollywood to Miami Beach. For the next 4 days, she does this every day to and from work, which ran over $60.00 per day. I called the store and was finally connected to Victor who is the area manager; I explained the issue, that the car had to be taken from Hollywood to Downtown Miami because smoke was coming out from the car and his tech was the last to touch it. He says he wants to inspect the car before anyone works on it, that if there's any repair to be done, he WILL NOT PAY anything if he doesn't get a chance to see it prior. I told him I was in California, and that I wouldn't know until I return to Miami on July 15; he says he'll be away on Monday but to still call and leave a voice message on his phone. July 11, 2019 Mini service calls and says they have found the issue stemming from the hood smoking; (without anyone saying anything to them) "Someone worked on your car and left the oil cap off which subsequently, caused oil to spew all over the engine bay; besides that, a gasket was blown and the engine almost starved of oil and the engine block could've cracked." Thankfully, they graciously serviced it under warranty...kudos to Braman Mini. (See Photo) July 15, 2019 I return to Miami and completely infuriated from the level of inept of the Jiffy Lube Tech at this location, I called Victor and left him a message per his instruction and waited for his return call. August 9, 2019 After waiting 3 weeks for Victor to call me back and getting nowhere, I decided to contact corporate and complain there on the website. Within 2 hours, a manger from another Jiffy Lube just blocks away called me and wanted to know what happened. I gave him an ear full and he was sincerely apologetic and wanted to help. He said, for me to contact the area manager....Victor. I told him I already left a message and he still hasn't returned my call. He then said he would call him direct and see what could be done for me. August 20, 2019 After waiting another 2 weeks, I finally lost my patience and called Victor up again. He answered and I explained what my situation was, again, and arrogantly, he said adamantly that if there was any charge to repair the car, he would not pay since he did not see it beforehand. I asked him why he didn't call me back over a month ago and he gave me no answer. I asked for $150 for all the inconvenience and Uber rides to Hollywood from Miami Beach but he said he could only give me that in a Jiffy Lube Card. As reluctant as I was, I told him ok, I'll take it and he asked me to text him my address, which I did. (See Photo) October 21, 2019 2 months later, I have yet to receive the $150 Jiffy Lube Card as promised, and at this point, Victor can keep it or donate it to the people in the Bahamas; either way, this ridiculous waste of our time shows me how everyone from the Tech to the Area Manager doesn't give a rat's a$$ for their job or the customer. Either they go out of their way to give the absolute WORST Customer Service, or they've got a box of rocks for brains and can't do their 1 job they're paid to do. Worst part of this entire situation, you'd think by contacting Corporate you'd have direct line with someone who cares...lmao....you end up with the same area manager who could care less about you and your vehicle. BTW, Tire Kingdom and free tire rotation with an oil change...and that's a deal. Stay away from Jiffy Lubes in South Florida; god forbid you have an issue from their techs leaving your oil cap off, our not putting the lug nuts on your tires if you do a tire rotation (similar example) you're bound to get screwed and loose your engine and guess what...you're going be stuck paying for it...or worse...deal with this area manager. Meh. I usually take my car to the dealer for service, but it just wasn't convenient this time, so off I went to Jiffy Lube. I'll start with the positive... it was fast and the mechanics were pleasant. On to the negative. It was annoying to navigate. I'd never been there before, and you need to just pull into the bay and wait, which I wasn't expecting, so I parked behind the facility and went inside. The woman who handles payments, etc, thought it was hilarious that I didn't understand where she wanted me to go, so strike one. While waiting in the bay, another woman came by to take my info. She was really pushing synthetic oil, which is double the cost of the regular. I said no thanks, and she said there would be no warranty on the oil change. First of all... how on earth can an oil change be warranted? You change the oil, end of story. Second of all, I'm not sure how valuable a warranty from this place would be, given other Yelpers' experiences with their cars literally catching on fire after service here. Anyway, you sit in the car while they change oil, which I like because my car is usually stuffed to the gills with tools and such, so no worries about things going missing. The oil change literally took 10 minutes after I was asked again about the synthetic oil. They offer you a hose with air conditioning that you can stick inside the car if you get hot (because obviously the car has to be turned off while they are changing the oil) - that's a nice offer; I took a pass since the weather is pleasant. This service ended up being more expensive than the dealership, but more convenient, so all's well that ends well. read more

I went for an oil and filter change and the on boarding agent was trying to upsell me right away and use scare tactics. She stated that I needed an engine flush because I had not changed my oil in almost 10K miles. I told her that according to my car's manufacturer, 8-10K is the recommended mileage when using synthetic oil. She started to argue that I should have changed it after 6K miles and that I needed the engine flush. I had to tell her NO at least 5 times. In the office, I was given a work order in the amount of $ 600 for services I had already said no to multiple times and I was asked to sign stating that I refused the work. In the middle of this aggravation, the agent walks into the office and asks me AGAIN if I'm sure I don't want that engine flush. Never going there again. read more

went in for an oil change on a Groupon. it wasn't worth it, I have a big engine so I still ended up paying like $100 but whatever. it was fine except I paid and was leaving and the kid who moved my car had grease all over his shoes and totally wrecked my floor mat, carpet and bottom and handle my door panel. if I didn't say anything, he was just gonna leave it. I asked if they could clean it and this fool walks up with a dry rag and is gently rubbing the door panel like that's gonna remove any type of grease. he obviously has never cleaned anything in his life. I took the mat out and the receptionist lady came out and tried to clean it and tells me the ran out of the right cleaner to fix it, no brushes except for metal ones on site. totally useless. this is totally ridiculous and I recommend if you're reading this, go on youtube and learn how to change your own oil, don't let these people inside your car. read more

She went in for a basic oil change they told her it was going to $135 for her Jeep Wrangler and they charged her $200. They charged her for an engine cleaning and an oil system cleaning. Read the comments below regarding oil changes because I am not the only affected customer. I was charged for a full synthetic oil change when I drove my vehicle to Jiffy Lube with 113,400 miles in October 2022. Fast forward to December 2022, I had a check engine light displayed. I took my car to Lexus Services in Pembroke Pines when it was discovered that there was no oil visible in my car. I was informed by Lexus that even if my motor was overworking itself, there should have been SOME oil indicated on the dip stick and they did not believe that any oil was provided in my vehicle when I took it into Jiffy Lube 2 months prior. (Comments provided in attached pictures. My car was taken into Lexus with 117,922 miles.) Once Lexus filled my car with oil, the check engine light went away. My car could have seized up, my engine may be damaged and I could have potentially had to replace my motor or get a new car. I drive a 2012 Lexus CT200h. With the proof provided and 1 star comments below, it seems apparent that Jiffy Lube in Miami, FL is scamming patrons, collecting full payments and not rendering services agreed upon. I visited Jiffy Lube located at 8295 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33138. I had a Groupon print out for a Jiffy Lube Oil Change. When I presented it, Jiffy Lube employee Mrs. Elisa refused to take the Groupon print out, disregarding completely that Groupon has it stated in their Groupon instructions that "you can pull it in the app or show a print out". Mrs. Elisa Made me install the app and log in to redeem the groupon in the app. Before me was a man that also had a print out of Groupon that his wife gave him. Mrs. Elisa not only refused to redeem it but requested that his wife be present to allow him to redeem the groupon. Mrs. Elisa is not abiding by Groupon Rules nor is she providing fair customer service. Mrs. Elisa treated me with disrespect and made me feel like I should have never purchased a Groupon. I regret having chosen to use Jiffy Lube's services. I got the oil change and it was fine, unfortunately the experience was undesirable to say the least thanks to Mrs. Elisa. They can't even get an oil change right! Just before going here, someone told me how a Jiffy Lube screwed up their friend's car. I didn't think much of it, but apparently it's not so uncommon. They told me *after* they finished my oil change that they couldn't get the drain plug out, so they sucked the oil out from the top. Three days later, my car broke down on 836. I had to get it towed to the nearest Mazda dealer, who determined that there was too much oil which caused it to spill out into the engine, fouling the spark plugs among other things. Apparently, Jiffy Lube didn't get out all of the oil and didn't check the level after they filled it. I've known since I was 9 years old that too much oil can be just as bad as not enough. How does a licensed technician make such a mistake? It was pure negligence. $400 later I complained to the Jiffy Lube corporate office, but this is a franchise, so all they were willing to do was forward my complaint to Atlantic Coast Enterprises, LLC, which owns all the Jiffy Lubes in this area. They in turn left it up to the manager of that location to make it right. After some discussion, he asked me to send him the paper work from the dealer that clearly stated what they had to do and that the cause was too much oil. After that, he stopped returning my phone calls. Following up with the corporate office was a waste of time as well. They just kept forwarding my complaint and then stopped responding to me as well. A bunch of crooks and criminals that almost cost me my life. On my day off I took my car to get an oil change at this Jiffy Lube #2509 on Biscayne owned by Atlantic Coast Enterprises LLC. I picked my car up after getting a standard oil change and started driving home when my car caught on fire. I thought I was going to die, but I was able to pop the hood and put the fire out. I immediately called Jiffy Lube and have been met with some of the worst treatment in my life. The first manager was so disrespectful and tried to dismiss my complaint without even sending an investigator to look at the engine. They had to find someone new to manage my case. The second one, led me on for about a month, no reimbursement, no compensation to the destruction of my sole means of transportation, and told me if they were at fault of the fire I would be compensated. He actually sent an investigator and the report came back holding them liable, the hood rod was left on top of the positive pole of the battery to the point it started a fire. But when the time came down to the next steps they are claiming non-liability because my car is rebuilt. A non-respectable business is closer to pimping than honest work. read more

It's always a hard ball SCAM. I had a terrible experience here with the sales lady. I came to change my battery as I was having issues in starting my car. They gave me a price for the new battery (which they showed me) and their services which I accepted the price of $195. Once they installed the battery, the sales women said, I'm sorry but the price is now $265. I asked why the change of price? She answered well the system gave me a different price now. I then asked why had the same system she checked before and now after had changed in a matter of minutes? She then tries to lie in front of my face when I look at their system that I was getting a grey battery when the one in my car (which the mechanic showed me) was black/green and priced $195 on the monitor. She then says it's the same model of grey battery and hard balls me in saying, you either pay it, or we will put back your old battery that won't start you car. Angry and confused... I go back to my car and check the battery again to see if the number is indeed the same as the grey one but just a different color, it was not. I start to say that they can then uninstall the new one before she finally then comes up with the final price of $201 claiming her manager changed the price for me. I checked again, and the battery I placed in my car was indeed the correct price of $165 and with a service fees comes out to $195...it's always a fucking scam. Because I am a women, I don't have a lot of knowledge about cars, she tried to take advantage of it, and this location is the classic example of people trying to change the price and hard ball someone into accepting a different price once they put the battery into the car.
