Unlike other locations I've been to, they tell you what they recommend, but they don't push and push for you to do something you don't want for the day. I recently bought a new car, and it has been such a great ride! I was due for an oil change, and used to always get my previous car stuff done at a different business since I had a buddy who worked there. Turns out they have moved on to a new career, so I decided to try out this jiffy lube with good reviews on Yelp. Juan helped me out today and was really genuine. He definitely went the extra mile to provide quality service. He showed me that I was due for new brake fluid and the team were able to get all of this done fairly quick. I was also able to use the online $20 off full synthetic blend oil change. I'm leaving Jiffy today very satisfied, and ready to get back on the road in the new whip. Horrible service. Lazy workers. I went in for a simple oil change, they wanted to sell me on a cabin air filter for $50(they cost $7 on Amazon) I told them I'd do it myself, so when I got home to do it myself I saw that they broke one of the little plastic tabs inside the glove box, they smashed my air filter in there incorrectly, and they never even put the air filter cover back on so it was just loose in the glove compartment area. they also said they rotated my tires...and I know for a fact they didn't because my passenger front tire has a slow leak and guess what...that same tire is still in the same exact position. This Jiffy Lube is completely incompetent and I will never let them touch my truck again. I'd give them 0 stars if u could. read more

Brought my truck in to have the coolant flushed and ended up having to have it towed out due to their incompetence. NEVER HAVE THEM PERFORM THIS SERVICE ON YOUR VEHICLE! Truck began overheating as soon as I drove it out of their facility. They spilled coolant into the vent system making the truck undriveable. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at the level of detail for safety this Jiffy Lube provided me with as I am on a road trip across the US. They checked and filled my tires to the exact psi, they changed my oil and asked me if I wanted synthetic which I definitely did since that's the norm for me, antifreeze top off, serpentine belt replacement, and did not ask me if I wanted my air filter changed which is what many jiffy lubes do on the east coast which to me is useless bc they are not looking at the more important things for safety but rather interested in asking if I want something quick and simple fixed that gets dirty easily. Juan the customer relations manager was very professional and kind and pointed out all the things the technician Steven noticed and fixed. They even told me I had a Right lug nut missing on my R passenger tire which a previous mechanic left out when I got new tires...which I appreciated since I now need to replace this. And I appreciate Daren General Manager for explaining things to me. Thank you for making my trip safer than it would have been. I came here for an oil change and they said it would take 2 hours! I might've just hit a busy time, but it seemed very abnormal to me. I had a Groupon for this specific location though, so I ended up leaving my car and asked them to call when it was ready. Unfortunately they never called, but it was done within a few hours when I decided to go back and check on it. I will say, most Jiffy Lubes try to sell me on a million things that my car doesn't actually need, but this one doesn't! I love a place that's honest and doesn't try to get every penny they can out of you. For that reason, I would recommend coming here. The entrance in on US 89, follow the arrows to Jiffy Lube, the other path leads to a car wash. As soon as I pulled up, The Tech asked me questions, took my Groupon and two techs proceeded to get down to business with my car. Juan took his time to show me the filters in my car. Previously they had been changed, they had gathered some debris but he took the time to tamp it out and put them back in. He did show me a filter that I did get changed. That was nice of Juan. Raymond H. did the oil change. He was very thorough. I got to stay in my car and watch. It was a matter of maybe 15-20 minutes. Both techs were gentlemen. Juan took his time showing me, educating me in those few minutes. I drove in from South Salt Lake cuz no Jiffy Lube near me would take the Groupon. In fact, of the 3 stores I called, they were curt about the idea of the Groupon. Based on the snarkiness of those calls, I'll drive 25 minutes out of my way to be treated with respect and dignity. North Salt Lake Jiffy Lube is thee place to go for your car needs. Juan M. #rockstar is excellent and goes the extra mile to accomplish the task at hand. The waiting area is very nice with plenty of seating, leather chairs, drinks and snacks, magazines, television, etc. You can also get your car detailed after your oil change for a discount. My only (and pretty big) complaint is how long it takes. They only have two bays and tend to be pretty busy. I've asked each time I've gone how long it will take and they significantly underestimate the time it will take. Advice - unless you have an hour plus to within their nice lobby, plan to drop it off and pick it up later. read more

Dang it. Should have read the reviews. Been here for 45 minutes and they haven't touched my car yet. I'd go get my car and leave but there are cars in front and behind it. I'm new to the area and maybe this is normal for Utah?! I wanted a quick oil change on my way home. Now I'm waiting, and waiting... The waiting area for kids was very nice. There's a train set, a fire engine they can ride on, and a couple of kid sized chairs and children's books. My daughter played with a train set while I had my oil changed. They've also given me a free basic automatic car wash both times I've been here (safety and emissions, and an oil change), which is a nice perk. read more

I went to get my safety and emissions last week and unfortumately the state inspection system was down. They did the emissions at no charge because I would have to come back again another day. I came back today at 830 am on a Thursday and there was no wait at all. They were done in 10 minutes and didn't try to upsell me on anything. Great service and quick! read more

Went to this location, using a Groupon and hoping to expect a "normal" service experience in a short amount of time. Not even close ! I was the third car in line, and spent 90 minutes in the waiting room before my oil change was completed. While I understand that Jiffy Lube makes extra money off the air filters, belt changes and such, I did NOT appreciate the high pressure sales tactics I experienced at this location. I came in for a simple oil change. That's what I paid for. While I appreciate the attention to my engine's condition, it irritates me that the crew there thought they should tell me I need a new serpentine belt ( 100 bucks ) , new air filter ( 28 bucks ) and an anti-freeze top off at 8 bucks ! Umm, No. My belt is showing micro-fractures, but that occurs after about 10,000 miles. My air filter was dirty, but only had 15,000 miles of use. My anti-freeze overflow reservoir had fluid in it, so I am confused as to why they would tell me it was low... Ladies and gentlemen, I am a mechanic, and know that NONE of the extra services were required. Kinda wish I had a camera crew '-) Save some money and find another local oil change shop. Took two cars to Jiffy Lube today. One to have an Emissions and an oil change. The other for an oil change. I am at a high risk for COVID-19 and I was very pleased at the precautions they took. I did not have to get out of my car for the oil change at all. They were very respectful and when I needed to speak to them, they stayed a safe distance away from the car. GOOD GOING!!!!! I am a very happy customer. For both vehicles we were in and out within 30 minutes. I was impressed. read more

I bought a Groupon for this location. I took my vehicle in. The guy came into the waiting area and told me at the previous garage had tightened the oil pan plug too tight and it needed to be replaced. He informed me at it would only cot $30.00. I felt that this was outrageous, but i also felt that i didn't have a choice... I have owned this vehicle for about four years and never added any oil ever. He also told me that I have a really bad oil and transmission leak! the plug that he put in my oil pan made the opening larger and no other company will touch now. This company is the worst and now I have to replace my oil pan to have my vehicle serviced anywhere else.... read more

I was immediately greeted, and the line wasn't long at all. Anytime you go in for any form of car service there is going to be an expected wait because you're just not dealing with a low maintenance machine these are highly tuned Mechanics that are being dealt with so if you're looking for shit work at a fast pace them go somewhere else. read more

So I bought this Groupon deal and I had to drive 20 min to this specific Jiffy Lube to get my oil change. I pull up and the guy asks what do I want and I tell him I have a Groupon deal to get an oil change. He doesn't ask for my name doesn't ask what kind of oil I want or anything, just asks me to get out of my car and wait in the lobby. Ummm so apparently after 30 min of "whatever the hell they where doing under my car" the guy comes out and say " so...unfortunately the cap where your oil is at..is too tight and we can't take it off. We can't help you here go back to where you usually go". WTF REALLY?? Then he says oh I need to get your air filters out so we can talk about that. Again..WTF?! I told him no thanks I just need to leave because I'm wasting my time here. He then takes me to my car and him and another guy whisper something to each other. The guys says something like in a manner that he is agreeing with the guy, which seemed like they were talking about my car. Maybe I was paranoid but honestly come on! You work on cars all day and your telling me you couldn't get the cap off on oil drain! GTF out of here! Oh then I ask him what about my Groupon...his reply "get a refund". Wow. read more

The guy told me I needed synthetic oil which is an 80 something dollar oil change. I called the dealership and they said my car takes conventional. This was my first experience at this location, and I can't return. Here are some of my issues (keep in mind I was paying for full synthetic service). 1. I am not certain they showed me my filters - I explained I had filters at home and needed to install them, when I got home, my filters were no where near as dirty as the ones they showed me, plus there was debris in the ones they showed me that wasn't in my filters. 2. They did not top off any fluids (which I paid for as part of the service). I explained I was in a hurry as I needed to get on the road, but when I got home I ended up needing to top off fluids. 3. They did not look at my tire pressure. My tires say 51 PSI is max, one tire was as low as 28 PSI when I checked it, the remainder were in the low 30's. Again, this is part of the service I paid for, which was ignored. 4. The person who I checked out with tried 3-times to double charge me for the service. I kept telling him I had prepaid online. 4. They called as a follow up and the attendant HUNG UP ON ME when I tried to move past the pre-programmed (very satisfied to very disappointed) responses and to explain the above mentioned issues. read more

Stopped in early Monday without an appointment, was quickly greeted, my truck was brought in and after a short time the service advisor called me into the office, went over my options for oil and told me the air filter should be changed. I selected the oil, declined the air filter because I would change it myself. I asked if my coupon was valid, he said it was, shortly after the truck was ready and they had vacuumed the interior! I chose this Jiffy Lube based on the positive reviews. My experience was anything but positive. Apparently they aren't certified to do the inspection, but said they will do the emissions testing. Then they said their emission equipment is not working and they have had lots of trouble with it since replacing it. Then on my paper they give you at checkout they said I declined to have my windows washed and my tire pressure checked. He didn't ever ask me or go over the information of what they did do. He also tried to discourage allowing me to use a groupon and said it is almost $30 off so he couldn't give me that kind of discount. He did use my Groupon, just not sure why he made it an issue. read more

I have been here before, but I just had a great experience at jiffy lube. I went in for an emissions and inspection and my emergency brake failed. I asked them if they could fix it, but Don was awesome. He noticed that my car had recently had the rear brakes replaced (BY someone else) and suggested that I should go back to them and have them adjust it. (I had paid over $500 for the brakes and he said that they should have checked it too.) He could have taken advantage of me by offering to adjust it for a charge but was completely honest with me and helped save money. I feel I can trust jiffy lube! That's hard to come by!! The staff all treated me so respectfully and especially Don, treated me like a friend. I will be bringing my business here from now on! read more

Over the last two years I have taken my two vehicles there. People are nice and its comfortable. First time they told me I needed a inside filter for my 98-mercury mountaineer. The problem is there is no filter. Second, they told me I need my air filter changed for my Tacoma and I have a K&N filter. Third just today I told them to only fill it up to 4 and a halve quarts so I good put some additive in it. I got home went do it and my oil cap almost fell of went I went to put it in. I know many of stories about a loose oil cap. Called them and the said there no problem because you didn't travel far. I said that's what I'm calling about. I don't want you to make the same mistake again. He said ok. Do not go there. read more

This is by far the best Jiffy Lube I've been to. Usually they have a tiny, cramped waiting room with not enough chairs. This one has a very nice, spacious waiting room with plenty of comfortable seating, televisions, free fountain drinks, and a play area for kids. It's a nice place to sit and wait for your car. The employees were very nice and got my emissions test done quickly. They also gave me a free car wash at the automatic car wash attached to their building. It had been raining off and on the day I was there, so they gave me the option of having my car washed then or coming back anytime within 7 days for a free car wash. I went back a few days later, showed them my receipt, and got my car washed for free. The car wash is really nice ,too. At the end of the automatic wash, an employee hand-dried my car. I wasn't expecting such a good car wash for free, so I was really happy about that. I would definitely return here. read more

I had my windshield wipers replaced in August getting the more expensive ones as suggested by the technician so they would last longer. We had a fairly mild winter and I keep my car in a garage at home. I called to ask what their policy was and Jared informs me there is nothing he can do. I lived in Washington where it rained and never had to replace my windshield wipers in the 2 years that I lived there. I will not be returning to this Jiffy Lube. read more
