I'm the cliche woman who knows nothing about cars so I can't rate their work. I take it at face value. I am rating the quality of their service. Came in last year to get AC freon filled so returned again this year. They said that's not normal so they will refill it and add some dye so they can see in a week if there's a leak somewhere. Returned a week later, on a Wed weekday after work around 5:30pm (they close at 7pm). Counter guy said will take about 15-20 mins. I said I will walk across the street to the McDonald's to buy a drink and come back by then. I got to the corner and they called me back to say that the mechanic left for the day already and to return the next day, try to come by 5pm as he leaves at 6. Next day Thu I took off early from work and got there before 5pm. A different guy at the counter said it'll be over an hour because it's "first come, first serve", like I was trying to cut in line or something. He said it'll be better to return the following day on Fri at 10am when there's less people. Returned on Fri at noon with my husband to drop off the car and left it there. We said go ahead and check for freon leak and while at it go ahead and change oil. He tried to upsell us on everything else under the sun. They do that every time. We went to pickup after work and they said there was a leak and it will be a $2,000.00 repair. We paid for the oil change and left. From now on we are taking our business somewhere else. read more

I brought my car in for a simple oil change. After a while, a JL technician came out to the waiting area and recommended an air filter change, I said yes. He recommended a fuel enhancement treatment, I said no. He recommended a brake fluid flush, I said no. He said OK and that my car would be ready in a few minutes. Several minutes later, the same technician comes out and says the screw holes in the clean air filter box were stripped and the box needed to be replaced. He didn't offer an other kind of solution except replacement. I asked how did this happen? They said it just happens. They had to order the part from the dealership and I had to prepay and it was non-refundable. I felt ambushed, so I paid. Later, while reading about clean air filter boxes, I found that they should last for the lifetime of the car. It is a piece of plastic and it can get brittle over time, but they did not tell me the holes were stripped until AFTER they changed my air filter. Meaning, the tech that put the screws back in probably over tightened them and stripped the holes. I complained to the manager of that store, nothing he would do. I wrote to Jiffy Lube corporate through there app, twice. They said they would reach out to the independent owners. Someone from the management company called me several times but wouldn't leave a voicemail message, because like everyone else in the world, I don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number. He finally started to leave a voicemail. I was holding my phone at the time and saw the transcript of the message. I answered. I tried to explain what happened. He said he was in his car, driving, and that he would call me back in about 45 minutes to discuss the issue. It's been a week. He has NEVER called back. Don't go to the Jiffy Lube on May. I'm a woman. Tried to tell me there was water in my brake fluid. Told me my motor mount needed changed, it doesn't. I asked for a tire rotation. They said no because my best tires are already on the back. Your best are supposed to be on the front on a front wheel drive. On my next oil change sticker, they put the next oil change due in 500 miles. Please don't come here. Now I'm questioning what they actually did to my car. What a shame. read more

I was in OKC visiting my father for the summer and need to get an oil change on my 2013 Toyota 4Runner before I got back on the road to Maryland. I have used Jiffy Lube services since I bought my first vehicle in 1987. The crew on N. May in OKC were professional and knowledgeable. They made sure I understood everything they were going to do to my vehicle and why. As a woman, it was refreshing to see so many women working at this store. I know basic car repair, but I must say that I struggle now that cars and car engines are more computer-driven. So to be able to speak to a woman about a car can be less intimidating for some women. The waiting area was clean and it had a television. The crew did a great job. I would come back to this franchise again if I am in town. read more

Tune up Fluid changes etc... well just to ease my mind. Had power steering drained and changed ( lil whine was going on). Now it could have been that fluid other than correct Honda was used and affecting the PS.... Now I know correct fluid is there and the gentleman were true to the company name........ If I could leave this place zero stars, I would! The place was pretty busy when I arrived, which was around 5 or so. I'm not sure if there's a certain amount of "air cabin filters" they're supposed to sell a day; however, the man at the front desk (didn't get his name) needs some more training, and let me tell you why. For starters, the first kid he tried up selling a filter to said "no" when the mechanic told him the price- $75. The mechanic proceeds to say I could do $55, and the kid says again, "no." He proceeds to ask a THIRD time, what about $40?? The kid says "no man, I'm good." Then comes a lady that hardly speaks any English. I watched this same guy pull the health card on her while trying to convince her to get a filter! "This NEEDS to be replaced. Think about your health." I'm all for people living healthy lives, but the filter was damn near clean and she didn't want to be up charged! COME ON DUDE! Lastly, the ACTUAL mechanic (Anthony) went to check me out and pulls up another ladies account. I corrected him, not a big deal, but then I proceed to tell him that I'm driving CHR. He walks outside and says "Did somebody leave keys in the Honda? They're the only keys I don't have! Dustin probably left them in there. Anthony comes back and says, "your cars out front and your keys are in the ignition." My keys were sitting on the counter top, next to his computer... I said "Um, my keys are right there- The Toyota. He got frazzled and apologized. Nobody knew how to clear my "maintenance required visit your dealer," light. I've been going to jiffy Lube for the past 3 years for my oil changes, but that all stopped today. The lack of knowledge and the lack of customer awareness. CONSUMERS BEWARE! I had driven in from Florida to take care of a family member who was very ill and didn't have time to do any real searching...they totally took advantage of me. I needed to have my oil changed and this place was nearby. They are a disgustingly dishonest company and a total rip off. Air filter $57.99, Cabin air filter $74.99 and Fuel system cleaner $99.00 for a total of $233.00. I just checked Auto Zone and I can get the air filters for $20/each and fuel system cleaner for $10 for a total of $50. They are the one who suggested the fuel system cleaner since I had driven such a long way...after checking, I realized all you have to do is pour it in the tank. From reading other reviews, I see this is an ongoing scam. These 3 items take probably 5 minutes total to install. They charged me $183 labor! WHAT A RACKET...STAY AWAY! read more

I came here for quick basic oil change. They keep trying to find all kinds up sales and cross sales. I really don't appreciate some of the up sales, especially on things i have already done. A "15" minutes schedule becomes 45+. I walked out the once because the price they quote was different than what was on the print out. I should of kept on going. I'm not coming back. Waited an hour for an oil change. Nice staff but dang - I've been to other locations where it takes 5 minutes.

Worse than not good. My brakes were grinding so I pulled in.. $600 to "Replace" the back brakes. Later that day, I hear and feel a very loud noise under the car. I have it towed to my regular mechanic. It seems the mechanic at JiffyLube forgot a bolt‍ Ooooos. $2200 worth of damage was caused because of this mistake, including a cracked wheel and someone could have been killed. JIFFYLUBE, did nothing!!!! Their response was "sorry‍ you should have brought it back to us". .. what?????? I'm a single mom. I do t how these people sleep at night Awful people there. Came in to this store needing an oil change and a tire rotation. I will say, they were busy at an unusual time of day and the nice young man let me know that a tire rotation will take about 10 minutes longer and is an additional $25 charge. I agreed and sat down. It took about 30 minutes and I left to run more errands. Luckily, I have distinct marks on my tires and could easily tell that my tires were not rotated. I understand if they were too busy at the time to rotate them but to charge me for a service that was never done?! Absurd and a waste of my time. I returned about an hour later, greeted by the same nice face and told him about my complaint. They happily pulled my car in and I watched them rotate my tires. He then gave me a $30 off coupon for the next time but we will see if I even return. read more

I used to go to this location for every oil change. They were fine as long as you would do ONLY oil changes and not allow them to upsell you I anything else. I would go to a different, more expensive mechanic for other maintenance. One day I made the mistake of asking them to do more than an oil change. It was a part of my car's 100,000 mile maintenance. They quoted me a very low price, but we both signed the quote. After they were "done" with my car, it turns out all they did was an oil change. They said they wouldn't hold up the bargain for the other stuff because, on my model of car, it was more work than they thought. I fought them tooth and nail. They eventually held up the contract we signed. But then they refused to give me a verification that they had done the work on my car. Very shady. read more

Do not go here! They will take your money and not change your oil or oil filter. I paid to have my oil changed here. I waited for a long time and then finally i paid and left. I was putting an additive in my oil later that day and was checking the oil level. When i pulled the dip stick out the oil was still black and old. They did not change the oil. I was curious so i jacked up the car and sure enough there was an old oil filter still on. Cost me 53 dollars for this alleged change. Went back the next day to confront the manager about it and they swore they changed the oil and the filter. He then showed me an old filter that he just happened to have sitting there and said it was mine. He would not refund my money or even look at my car. Again, do not go here! read more

Here's how it went down: Guy outside holding a "$19.99 oil change" sign...Me: Awesome, I need an oil change...Manager inside: So, do you want the $49, $59, or $69 oil?...Me: Uhhh, I want the $19 oil...Manager: You need a new air filter, and, as you can see, you're at 30k miles, so you need transmission service ($150)...Me: Uhhh, I hadn't really planned on that, but if I need it, go ahead. --- As they prepared to change the transmission fluid, I checked my service manual online; nothing about transmission service at 30k miles. Other blogs and articles specifically said NOT to service transmission at 30k miles. I hurried and told them to pass on the transmission service, and they didn't even question me - the guilty know when they've been caught red handed. Bottom line, you can bet these guys will try to screw you over. They tried to do it to me, and I watched as they did it to an older lady. We were the inly two people there, so my assumption is that they behave this way with everybody. I'd give them fewer than 1 star if I could. Stay away. read more

We went because we got a groupon for an oil change. First big mistake! They took our car in, not five minutes later they called us back, we needed new air filter, and sixty dollars more add ones! And we are driving down to Texas tomorrow so we say ok. Note here that they called every driver that brought their car in back to Up Charge while we were there! Every single one! We also asked them to take a look at our turn signal because it was out... Two minutes later they bring us the little yellow light attached to a box and a little cord hanging from it. Will not ever return! Completely ruined my tire with a "patch job" for what was a nail in the middle of the tread. First off, they charged me 20$ for this, apparently others I have spoken with said they have always gotten a patch for free at jiffy lube. Secondly, after I left with my patched tire, I noticed about four days after my air was low, I thought it was strange, but it had gotten colder outside, and then it kept happening. I took my vehicle to discount and Reynolds ford, to see if it could be fixed, and the patchwork that jiffy lube did was horrible. So now I have to buy a new tire. My tires didn't have very many miles on them, maybe 12,000! I will never go there again for anything! read more

I went just two days ago for an oil change and was in and out in 20 minutes tops! I have a Volvo and oil changes run $90 at Hibdon tires or places like that or I could pay a couple hundred at volvo... yeah, no thanks to either! So jiffy lube allows you to buy your own oil and they change it and do a 21 point inspection for $20! It's wonderful!
