These guys are the best mechanics I've been to. Honest and don't price gouge you on services. I went to a dealership and they told me I had an oil leak and needed to charge me $200 just for a diagnostic, not to even fix it. I came here and they checked my car and told me I had no oil leak and didn't charge me to give me that information. They recommended what I should do for my 2018 Honda civic in the future and just got my spark plugs changed for 1/3 of the price at the dealership. Will always bring my car here. read more

I can't speak HIGHLY enough about the integrity and service here. I was on a cross country trip from San Francisco to New York, and decided to stop in OKC for the night to rest. I woke up the next morning to find a puddle of oil underneath my car and an OIL light on the dashboard. It was a Friday morning, and every mechanic I called told me "Completely booked today, can see you Monday or Tuesday". Having about 3,000 more miles of travel planned, I wasn't too happy to have to drop my car off and spend an unknown time in OKC waiting to find out what was wrong with my vehicle and if It was safe to continue this trip. I called this shop, and briefly explained my situation. The gentleman listened, and told me to stop by and they will fit me in to look at it. When I arrived, Bill and the crew at the shop immediately got my car up and quickly discovered to culprit- a loose plug. He was thorough to look at other components of the vehicle to make sure nothing major was at fault. He tightened the plug, cleaned the area, filled up all my fluids, and wished me a safe and fun journey. I wouldn't hesitate to go to this shop and trust them with your car and business. I just brought my car in to get tested because after an oil change at take 5 my car started acting weird, well these guys got it hooked up & started testing things & got a code for my alternator & at about that same time, he noticed my alternator was unplugged! They plugged it back up & i had no other codes & so far we're running along just fine, absolutely ridiculous that other shops unplug stuff to try & pull one over on people. Usually when you see five stars at an auto repair shop you stop for a moment to read some reviews. Well the stars drew me in and it was their genuine care for me that hooked me. I've had much trouble with my 2013 Kia Optima during the last year and half of my ten years of ownership. The two gentlemen who helped me save $4,000 by not going to the dealership in order for me to fix my car goes beyond just a simple review. They suggested that I contact their auto parts supplier and order through them to have free shipping to their shop and I only pay for labor. I never have had any auto shop suggest this to me and I've traveled across 36 states of America with living in 7 of them. So I thank God I found them for helping me with my car. My engine light was on and I had no idea what could be the issue. I brought my 2015 Prius and immediately they ran the diagnostic on it. It turns out my gas cap wasn't on. Embarrassing! However I wasn't made to feel as foolish as I felt, he said "it happens all the time." Maybe true, maybe not. I wasn't charged for his time and service which was super nice. So, I recommended him to my boyfriend whose car repeatedly wouldn't start. He left his car there around 10 today, and was told he'd get a call this afternoon. Around 12:30, he was notified he needed a new battery. We bought a new battery and brought it to him. He replaced the battery for us and didn't charge for his time or service. A+. A few years back I took my 95 Ford ranger with a muffler issue to these guys. They didn't have the parts needed to fix it quickly so they referred me to someone who could. In my search for a new car I would take the cars to them and they would give me their honest opinion. I later took in my Nissan Altima because it had the check oil light on after I had my oil changed at a chain. Turned out to be the cap was loose after having that "checked" at the chain I went to (they didn't charge me for their time). I've gone many times to have them check my car before road trips and they have never tried to get me to fix something unnecessarily or they give me a timeline of when I should get something fixed. When my tires were past due to change, they ordered the tires at a discount for me and told me who I should take the tires to to have them installed (again free of charge besides the little kickback he probably got from ordering the tires). If you haven't already guessed. I trust these guys with all my car needs. I could have easily been swindled seeing as my car knowledge is 0. These guys are the best!! read more

I was caught completely out of sorts as my longtime, beloved mechanic (Delozier Auto!) closed and what I thought was my alternator went out during the snow storm this week. I channeled the mantra: "When in doubt, Yelp it out," from Alan N. and found these guys thanks to a great review from my buddy Matt M. - his glowing review was all I needed to try a new place, and my faith in him is never misplaced. Everything he said and more proved true and more. The good gentlemen over there got me in and out, and even recommended a reasonable towing service! The problem was, in fact, the serpentine belt, and they got my pretty Purl the Punk Wagon purring again in no time! The price was*under* estimate (thank Science for Xmas miracles!) AND an hour earlier than quoted. They also gave her a bath and topped fluids, all included! This kid is delighted to find a new mechanic, as they are worth their weight in gold. Expecting a $500 plus bill for brakes and rotors, especially with the horror stories of out of town people getting taken advantage of by repair shops. Herman himself gave me the keys to my van when it was ready. My car had been well washed and fully detailed. (It was then that I discovered that jobs over five hundred bucks receive complimentary full detailing.) I went here based on the other Yelp reviews--as a younger looking girl, it's important to me that I go to a mechanic I can trust. They were very polite, kind, and quick to get to my vehicle. The let me know the exact price before they began the work- and it was more than fair. It's a small establishment and it's not the most beautiful place either, but that's not nearly as important to me as trustworthiness. I don't handle things out of my control well, so when my battery died late Sunday night, I was less than thrilled with the situation. Through no actual hard labor of my own, a new battery was procured and replaced in my car, but the connectors to the battery were so corroded that a tight seal was not a possibility. Enter Pro Express. I called first thing Monday morning and they told me to come in. I dropped the car off, mentioning that my headlight was also out, and Herman drove me to work. Less than four hours later, I got a call that my car was completely finished and ready for pickup -- and for a price that made me cry because it was so LOW. Herman picked me up from work and let me talk his ear off about the litany of other problems I had with my vehicle. He told me to get a complete list together and come back in for a free checkover/diagnosis. "You're dealing with honesty here, sweetheart," he said -- and it's true. There's nothing but a genuine desire to help his customers, whom he called "fantastic" several times during the ride. I'm going back here anytime I need car help. Chalk up another win for the Yelp community! After our starter broke down, we decided to look around for an alternative mechanic. We weren't unhappy with our old one, but it was the only place we had tried and we wanted a second option. After seeing the numerous glowing reviews, we decided to give Pro Express a try. I'm glad that we did! They were able to see us same day (versus making an appointment for 2-4 days later in the week), which was really nice. The initial price quote was 200$ over what our regular place had estimated (granted this was without the regular shopping actually seeing under the hood), but with factory parts. That said, they did offer the option of supplying the starter myself, and even offered to loan me a car to go to the store to get it. I never felt pressured either way, and ended up going for the more expensive part for peace of mind. I appreciated that they had a casual, matter of fact manner without being pushy or know it all. I'm the first to admit I know nothing of cars beyond what I google, but they never talked down to me. They also were kind enough to look at a couple other small issues they didn't specialize in, but gave me good references for taking care of them. Herman, the owner, gave me a ride back to my house while I waited for it to be repaired (they said it'd be done in about 4 hours). 3 hours later, I get a phone call letting me know they were done, and the wife and I swung by (they offered to come pick me up but we were already on the road). To my pleasant surprise the final bill was 110$ less than quoted. Early, cheaper, and good work done? Consider me a valued and loyal customer! This past Saturday - huge emergency. Red Fanta spilled all over the front seats of my Hyundai Santa Fe. Day ruined. Found these guys through the reviews here. We had shredded a belt and had no air the previous day, but the guys who fixed the belt had no idea why. It could be anything or nothing just overheated from the belt issue. [we were towing a 5x8 uhaul too, moving across the country] Wanted to be sure before starting out so I called the day before and they said bring it in and we will look. I conveyed the concerns from the guys the previous day and one of the guys checked and said "nope thats just the way Fords are", He had a Ford too and his was the same. I took my Honda Civic in for a new motor mount at around 5:45 pm. One of the mechanics, Bill, was able to quickly diagnose the problem and it turned out three of my motor mounts where bad. I know enough about cars to know Bill was shooting me straight. They called around for parts and were able to start working on it around 10 am the next day with a quote for $645 for all three mounts. They had the job done around 3:30 pm that day. It turns out one of the mounts was slightly higher in price (due to only being available from the dealership) and my new total was $700. I went to pick up the car and met with the owner, Herman, who showed me my worn out motor mounts and was very friendly. In fact, Herman knew my name and remembered it which is always good customer service. Herman handed me the keys and said they had it all cleaned up and ready to go. To my surprise the car was fully washed and detailed - which was impressive because it was pretty filthy when I dropped it off. Turns out any customer spending more than $500 gets a full wash and detail. I drove away with my car running great and looking good. I was very happy with my experience and will definitely call Herman for all my future repairs. read more

Don't let the exterior fool you-- this place is amazing. I was preparing for a move from OKC to California when Jiffy Lube told me I needed to get some repairs done. Didn't trust them so I came to Yelp to help me find an auto mechanic and was happy to find Pro Express. I was driving an '09 Subaru Forster with over 140k miles without ever replacing the timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, etc (my memory escapes me). I called up the dealerships and they charged ridiculous prices. Pro Express gave me a fair price AND I got hooked up with a discounted car detail next door. They were quick, trustworthy, and overall great guys who explained everything to me. I successfully drove my car over 1600 miles a few days after getting it from the shop. Thanks so much! Great customer service and very friendly. Went in to get my brakes checked and required all new pads and rotors. The service was fast and very well priced. Was told I also needed new tires and to go get quotes and they will try to get better pricing for me from the wholesalers. I called them this Morning based solely on all the positive Yelp reviews. My daughters Nissan Rogue needed a rear hub assembly. We dropped the car off and found that they were they most pleasant people. They called a few hours later to say the car was done. When we picked up the car we noticed that a heat shield was vibrating and making a terrible noise. They crawled under the car and spot welded the heat shield.... no charge! The bill was reasonable, they are very pleasant people, and they went above and beyond by fixing the problem with the heat shield on the fly, for free. What more could you ask for.. I cannot recommend Pro Express enough! I broke down on the turnpike and had to be towed. But, these guys are so NICE, I have used them twice now and since I only live 5 blocks from them the have always offered to drive my vehicle back home for me.
