At first I went to the Walmart on East Colonial and they told me my Oil plug was cross threaded. I took it here and they laughed at how incompetent the Walmart employees were because walmart mistook my motor mount for my oil plug and stripped the bolt. The General Manager came and helped me very quickly and honestly. I paid $3.00 more than walmart but got a much better experience and reliable service. Not pushy on sales at all, the cashier was a little short with conversations but all the other associates were awesome, they even held the door for me and pulled my car around facing the street. Avoid 1355 S Semoran Blvd, Orl. A sloppy oil change resulted in an oil leak that could have blown my engine and destroyed my car. They cleaned, tightened gasket and gave me a repair quote for replacing gasket. I noticed weeks later that my fluid cap was missing. The manager threw a hostile, heated tantrum on the phone over a $5 cap. Later backpedaled and installed the cap after I threatened to contact corporate. Went in for an AC recharge and it turned into needing a new battery, blower, etc. totaling over $900. I'm getting the car ready to sell, but it's been sitting in the Florida heat without being driven for a while, so it took a minute to start before the five minute drive from my house, and wouldn't start right up when they pulled it in the bay. The mechanic said the car should have started right up because a jumped/struggling battery should be charged up after just a five minute drive. I knew a new battery was on my list, but the mechanics weren't sure if it was the battery or the blower causing my AC issues, and the cheapest battery at Jiffy Lube was $200. I've gotten the $90 battery for this car for years, and advanced auto parts is visible from Jiffy Lube, so I said I would try that first before going the $900 route. I even said I would come back! I thought that was reasonable, but the mechanic said "they won't put it in for you like we do here," to which I said they always have in the past (and they did ten minutes later.) His last attempt to keep/intimidate my business was to tell me that it wasn't safe for me to drive my car to the visible advanced auto parts maybe 800 feet away, and I should call a tow truck to another mechanic if I didn't want to use them. My car started right up, I drove over to advanced auto parts, and a very nice man named Tony sold and installed my $90 car battery. While he was installing it, he noticed Jiffy Lube left a cap off of something and didn't screw it back on, and I found a second cap sitting oddly enough in my drivers side door pocket. Anyways, shoutout to advanced auto parts, and always get a second opinion. Unrelated, but the office inside was playing a weather report from two hours and several days prior. I came in for a routine oil change and all was well. A couple days later my check engine light came on. Turns out they did not reconnect the tubes after completing the oil change. I ended up fixing it myself and buying clamps from AutoZone. A couple weeks later, my check engine light came on again. They were the first shop to give me an appointment and a quote. It turned out to be the thermostat. They replaced it no issues. I had mentioned to the manager that they had not reconnected the tubes during the oil change and showed him photos and everything at the beginning of the appointment. He brushed it off and didn't do or say anything about it. When I was checking out, the guy who was doing the physical work on my car came to give me an update. He said that there were loose and missing screws. No one touched my car in between the oil change and the check engine light going off, so I am wondering how the screws came missing. I brought it up to the manager, how first the tubes were not secured and secondly there were missing and loose screws and asked him what had happened. He again brushed it off, and told me that I was "good now". Yes, my car is fixed now, but would it have needed the $400 of work after the oil change had I gone somewhere else? Let me just start by saying, I only came here because of a Groupon and I never go to places like this. If I could give this less than one star, I would. I got there and the first guy I spoke to was nice, assuming he was the manager because of the way everyone there listened to him. I told him, I have a Groupon for an oil change and just seeing if you have time for that? He said sure and told me to drive in the first bay. From there, the lady I had to deal with was a mega brat and was extremely salesy. I get it, that's your job but for the love of God, I have a Groupon - honor it or don't, I just want an oil change. After her saying "it didn't work" because you can't use it for 24 hours after you purchase it, to then the guy trying it and it then it magically "working," at that point I just wanted to leave and I should have. I drove home and within three minutes down the road my car was making a LOUD NOISE that it did NOT HAVE prior to Jiffy Lube and has NEVER HAD before. Quite frankly, I haven't had a single issue with my vehicle since I purchased it a few years ago. Always taken very well care of and I drive MINIMALLY. Of course, I'm immediately furious. There is quite literally only one explanation. The worst part is I'm not even surprised - I had been texting my boyfriend in the car about the situation as it was happening at the location, how uncomfortable I was, etc. He actually said "hopefully they don't mess up your car.." and really, I should've just taken that as yet another sign to get out of there. I get my car regularly serviced at Hyundai dealerships specifically, I NEVER go to random shops like this - not once since I purchased my car, but someone sent me this Groupon so I went out on a limb thinking how can they mess up an oil change? Apparently pretty badly considering my car makes a loud noise now!! Even though there is a closer jiffy lube to me, about 5 mins from me, I traveled 30 mins out of my way to this location because the general manager seemed way more amiable and willing to explain things. I brought my car here with the coupon for jiffy live in hand and they had the nerve to tell me they were not a participating location. I should of left after the guy gave me attitude and walked off. Instead I stayed and let these people screw me with no jiffy lube. they disconnected the hose from the water pump in my girls car and it overheated. when I told them the car was driving funny after the oil change they said bring it back. sooo this is practically an essay, if you don't have time to read just stay away from this place, they dont give a s**T about you or your car...its expensive and the price is definitely not reflective of the service, they are stealing from hardworking customers and they don't care if you return, there is no real concern for the consumer. go somewhere where your business is appreciated & they take care of your vehicle. if you love your car as i do mine PLEASE DONT GO HERE. sooo on the day of my oil change after the services were rendered and i was on my way home i heard scratching & scraping noises coming from the bottom of my car, i ignored thinking i ran over something ,,,it literally sounded like a hanger, and i was pulling up to my house anyway, so when i finally park home i take a quick look under my vehicle to make sure nothing was stuck under there, i find my whole underbody/ shield / tray completely hanging off my vehicle only holding on by one corner.. the people who changed my oil didn't secure it properly and now they were CLOSED! my vehicle was not drive-able and i had to be at work in a couple hours...(talk about having a nervous breakdown).. needless to say i wasn't able to make it to work and it was too late to get anyone to help me. of course I was LIVID, this service cost me around $90.00 and i make most of my money on Saturday nights as i am a bartender in club and make ALL my living working only Fridays, Saturdays (this happened on a saturday night) . Im a single mom and im serious about my car and my money... This mistake cost me at least $300.00.. I really feel like this kind of careless mistake was completely unnecessary and reckless on the workers part, I understand mistakes happen but this mistake cost me alot of stress & extra damages.. i literally sat in my car crying cause I had already had a long day replacing the battery in my car and now this.. all because i wanted to get a quick oil change since i work far and my car was overdue for one. .. the next morning I called the manager at jiffy lube and she said the only way she could help me was by me bringing the UNDRIVEABLE car to the shop ... of course I wasn't about to DRAG my bottom panel across town and cause even more damage, so I had to pay someone to remove the panel for me, costing me even more money in order to bring the car to jiffy lube.. where I was treated like it was my fault with an attitude and was told that they did the services i paid for so it wasn't really their problem what happened to my car. after a while the manager finally said she would replace my panel, she took down my number and said her regional manager was going to call me to get the issue resolved , this was 2 days ago, still no phone call, no parts ordered, no replacement. I suggested they give me partial refund since they caused such a troubling night for me and cost me loss of income, she said she cant do that but she'd replace my tray. i honestly rather get a partial refund because I am terrified of these people touching my car again....but i still haven't heard from them. oh, and for the record, with this 87 dollar oil service there are a ton of 'free' services included, like fill up tire pressure check fluids etc, well,,, the tires where never filled with air besides being assured & told by the 'mechanic' that my tires where low on air and shed have them filled to 35 pi.., she sure did a great job telling me all the things they supposedly checked and serviced on my vehicle,,,, but low and behold the tire pressure was the same when i left.. which is the first thing i noticed when i pulled out of jiffy lube because I always have my tire pressure displayed on my car screen & i look at it every single day... regardless, i thought, its just tire pressure i didn't care enough to make a fuss , i drove off to go get ready for work.... which was more important than tire pressure,,, sadly i never made it to work, and i still have no tray or panel, the bottom of my car is NAKED & exposed to other damages. Not the most friendly or welcoming place. The person who was supposed to "greet" me frowned and could barely be understood because he spoke so low. I may have chalked his behavior up to having a bad morning, until another customer came in a affirmed what I had been thinking. He said to me, "They always seem so disinterested here". So true. I paid more money and received poor customer service from this Jiffy Lube. Next time I'll take my car to the dealer. I learned they charge $29.99 for a synthetic blend. Jiffy Lube charges $59.99 and even with the coupon for $12 off, I still paid more. I had to take my car to the dealer right the oil change because of an issue with the oil reset function not working. The dealer was much more friendly, provided faster than expected service, and took the time to clean a spot off the side of my car. Basically, they exceeded my expectations where this particular Jiffy Lube didn't meet it (at least as far as customer service is concerned). It's a lesson learned that I will not forget when I reach 10,000 miles. read more

Just got an oil change. Did not get a sticker reminding me when my next oil change should be. They also almost did a tire rotation for me and charged me $20 for it when I asked them at the beginning if it was free and they said yes. I also showed up at 8:30 AM when there were four workers and no other customers and it still took 25 minutes to change my oil for some reason. Usually they always do vacuum the carpets in the car but on this occasion they did not. I wish there was a closer Jiffy Lube to my house. This location is one of the worst I've ever seen. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at this Jiffy Lube location. Not only is the staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable, but their pricing is also very fair. I'm the kind of person who absolutely dreads having to go get oil changes and basically anything that has to do with maintenance on my car. My boyfriend and I have had quite a few not great experiences at other oil change locations and thought we would give Jiffy Lube a try instead, now we'll never look back. My boyfriend drove in first, and he was in and out in less than 15 minutes. My oil change was relatively routine but upon arrival they had noticed that one of my headlights was out. I was very aware of this because I had recently had my car in the shop and was told in order to switch out the bulb, they would need to remove my entire front bumper to access the light. I was quoted $218 to change my headlight. This past year hasn't been easy on anyone, especially financially and it just wasn't feasible. I've been putting off replacing it for quite some time and was shocked when Mizzy told me she was probably able to change it without having to do any of the things that I was previously told. In less than thirty minutes she had found a way to get underneath my hood and switch out my headlight. For $25. TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS, compared to that of $218. I cannot thank her and Jorge enough. As a woman in her mid twenties, I cannot express how grateful I am that there are good, genuine mechanics (especially female) out here doing an honest job and not just trying to make a quick buck off of someone who knows little to nothing about cars. I was recently in Jiffy Lube store number 77 with my girlfriend to get an oil change prior to taking a trip to New Jersey. We pulled up and the price was a bit high for an oil change but I remembered that I had a coupon for $10.00 off back at our apartment. I told the serviceman that we would be right back to retrieve it and he said "I'll give you $5.00 off if you do it right now." My girlfriend immediately felt skeptical but I obliged since we needed to get on the road. Once inside, my girlfriend had said that she had a bad feeling about some of the staff there and that they were going to try to rip her off. At this point, I entered the lavatory. Once inside, the serviceman entered the waiting area to sell my girlfriend on many additional services which she declined. I completely understand that this is a sales tactic and that his job is to sell the company's service. However, it should be done with fines, tact, and more importantly honesty. I exited the lavatory to find her standing befuddled, confused, and as uneasy as the first day I exposed myself to her. Needless to say, she was uncomfortable with the large man behind the counter that was a symbolic manifestation of my male genitalia. The serviceman told her that her lights were out over her license plate and that they would fix it right away for her. She asked what to do... I said to decline the service. The guy then persisted to ask us if we were sure since it would be a hefty ticket if pulled over and that he can have his guys do it right away. We still declined. Upon getting to New Jersey I checked the lights over the license plate... not only were they working perfectly but they could have easily lit up a city skyline with the amount of illumination from these lights. As a matter of fact, I had to get corrective eye surgery shortly after looking directly into the light for even a moment, was left impotent by the blaze, and it melted the robust tumor that was growing off of my face in a matter of seconds. I am exaggerating (slightly) but you get my point. My girlfriend was right in the end, the staff was just trying to take advantage of her. Offering to fix things that aren't broken just to get money from a customer is the lowest form of capitalistic scum. The stool that I left in the lavatory was second only to the staff member working the counter. I now understand why the term "lube" is in the company name. read more

Mails me a coupon that says "$24.99 for Jiffy Lube Signature Service" but when I arrive they insist that the coupon means you get $15 off any of the signature services which range from $40-$100, going on to insist I purchase the $60 service. How I came in with a coupon you sent me that clearly states I'm paying 24.99 and ended up spending almost double is insanity. This whole morning had been stressful due to my car beginning to slow down once my battery light, oil light and engine lights all came on. It did it on the way dropping my kids off at school and it was a bit worrisome and annoying. I went to advanced auto parts and auto zone to get a test done to just see what was going on... they both continued to say everything was good and they didn't see a issue. Fortunately, by 11 I thought about going to jiffy lube as a last result before I went to Kia to get them to figure out the issue. They checked everything and told me the problem and also fixed it in less than 30mins. They was very responsive to any questions and they had what I would see as a great team and great system. I walked out with everything working and less stress. I have been a Jiffy Lube customer for years and never experienced a problem until now. I took my wife's new Volkswagen to Service Center #77 for it's first oil change in December. Everything went as scheduled and I left without incident. Our next visit was to the dealership for scheduled servicing in July, where they discovered Jiffy Lube had damaged the oil pan during the oil change, requiring it to be totally replaced. The Jiffy Lube Mechanic had stripped the welded threads in the oil pan by overtightening. I know this damage was caused at Jiffy Lube because no service had been performed in between these two visits. After verifying with an independent mechanic that this was indeed the case and that this can happen when inexperienced Volkswagen mechanics attempt to change the oil, I went back to Jiffy Lube seeking reimbursement. I had multiple phone calls with the store manager (Carlos), who after 2 weeks passed me on to the General Manager (Jose). I provided all invoices, photos of the damage, and even brought the old damaged oil pan to the General Manager for inspection. I was told I would have final resolution on a Thursday, but no response arrived until the following Tuesday when I was informed my claim had been denied. The Corporate Office was no help either, instead funneling me to the Franchise Owner (not by name, only the name of the business). Jiffy Lube has lost a customer for life. Terrible Customer Service. Would not recommend visiting this location or any other. read more
