Each time, I was given a different excuse as to why they could not perform the service. Eventually, I was told to call back on Thursday to schedule for Friday -- which I did exactly as instructed. When I called back, they again asked for my vehicle's make and year. At that point, I was told the promotional deal only applied to vehicles 2015 and newer. This restriction was never mentioned during any of my previous calls, nor is it stated anywhere in the advertised description. To introduce new conditions at the last minute is dishonest and completely unacceptable -- especially for something as routine as an oil change. Despite the red flags, I proceeded with the service. When I returned home, I checked the oil level because by that point I had zero confidence in the quality of their work. The oil level was nearly a full inch above the maximum fill line. Overfilling engine oil is not a minor mistake -- it can cause serious damage to an engine. This level of negligence is alarming. The owner was busy talking on his phone throughout the service, and it is clear he either failed to properly check the oil level afterward or could not be bothered to correct it. Either explanation is unacceptable. Had I not double-checked their work, my engine could have suffered significant damage. That is not just poor service -- it is reckless. I strongly urge others to think carefully before trusting this business with their vehicle.

The staff here were friendly and professional and I was in and out in pretty much no time. As I said, it is not cheap. The cost for a full synthetic oil change with an extra quart of oil comes in at just under one hundred and twenty-five dollars. I did have a coupon, which dropped it down to just under a hundred dollars. Just to be clear, you pull in and stay in your car as they change your oil. I was there just as they opened and was the second one there. They have three bays, so I pulled in just as they opened. Again, this was a convenient way to get an oil change and with a busy schedule, this might be the way to go. However, again, it will cost a bit more. I am heading out on yet another business trip either Sunday or Monday, so it was worth the extra money to just get it out of the way.

So hard to find a shop that just will be dead honest no matter what and do the right thing regardless. Funny thing is, if they would just operate with the understanding that we will be honest and repair your vehicle today for less and that in turn, you will come back for years to come and they will wind up making more money from you over the long-term than a short term potential gouge. We actually wound up taking our vehicle back to the dealership and shockingly enough, they proved to us that a couple of the parts that JSI was telling us needed to be replaced we're functioning per manufacturers specs and not problematic at all. Needless to say, we will not be taking our vehicles back to this shop and we're not telling anyone not to go there, just trying to make other's aware of our experience that's all.
